This game blows GTA 4 out of the water

This game blows GTA 4 out of the water. The graphics are so impressive, and looks to be improved over GTA 4. The controls on the controller I wish could be set to a more classic style, like for example, driving the car, I wish the X button was gas and the Square button was the brake. If there is a way to remap the controller I have yet to find it. I've just started playing a couple days ago but so far, its lived up to expectations and went beyond them. Although the police in this game have a tendency of shoot to kill even with a 1 star wanted level. As of this moment, I give this game a 5 out of 5.

GTA V hooks you in right from the beginning. The stories are engaging and playing as multiple characters (even though the stories tend to intertwine) keeps the story fresh. Weapon customization is probably one of my favorite features and bringing back the vehicle customization was a great idea! The controls feel great and the game while difficult at times, is easy to get into. As of the time of this review, online play is not available, but this will add a new element to the game that many other console games lack; open world multiplayer. I would highly recommend this to family and friends!

I've loved GTA since GTA III. Loved vice city, Liberty city stories etc. Didn't care much for IV. Great graphics but weak storyline. San Andreas was the best of all GTAs. V revisits Los Santos. Just a few brief mentions of the former storyline. One brief mission on Grove street. Not enough tie in for me. Great graphics. Ok storyline. The storyline and dialogue take over the game. You spend more time listening to dialogue than playing the game. Overall four out of five stars.

My husband bought this game after playing it at a cousins house. He loves the options to play and the graphics. The boys love that they can play together even when one lives in NY and the other down the road. Not the best game for kids under 16.

The story line is great and as I mentioned the map just keeps getting bigger.San Andreas is huge in this game. You can do whatever you want in this game including how the mission plays out.You can pick your crew to do a heist and go in loud and shoot the place up or quiet and organized.A ton of different vehicles. To actually complete every single mission and side job would take months.I know people have beat the story but they havent completed every side mission. I currently have over a 100 missions available right now.Great game, I hope to see it on the new consoles.

The wait is over! After five long years the Grand Theft Auto series is back, and the series has cme back in full-force. A game on this scale is just too large to write a detailed account in such a small space, but worth the price alone is being able to explore the amazing city of San Andreas. It is amazingly detailed and really brought to life by the developers. In the beginning the controls can take a little getting used to, and the difficult seems a tad high, especially in the beginning. These are minor complaints though, this is a, no pun intended, game changer.

The game is amazing, love it. Totally got my money;'s worth on this game. The graphics are incredible and the go anywhere and do anything style of play in such a huge world is unbelievably cool. You literally find something new everytime you play. One of the best games I have ever played. Love the characters. Also really like the fact that all of the characters have their own special skills and ability but that all skill can be improved by shooting or driving..or even taking flying lessons. Great game! 5 stars for sure. Cannot wait until the online is available.

Can be very pornographic, violent and lots of swearing. Not that you would expect anything less from a GTA game. This game should definitely not be played by anyone under 18. If you go in understanding the history of this game and what it is all about then you can understand that the realism and open nature of the game are it's strong and weak suits. For pure gameplay, always looking around the corner for that next item or thing to do this game can not be beat. Just know along the way you will encounter encounter the seedier side of life as well.

The answer to the title is YES. I was very excited for this game, but I never thought it could actually live up to the hype, but it does! It is the best GTA game ever made and quite possibly one of the best games ever made. The map is SO HUGE, and there are just so many things to do, you can simply get lost. The story is top notch and it just engrosses you making you feel like you are playing a big budget crime drama. I would recommend this to anyone that is old enough to play the game. It is very violent, so you have to know that going in.

The best in the series. Leave it up to Rockstar to perfect their craft. Better graphics, improved game play, funnier and crazier story line. If you are a fan of the series, you won't be disappointed, but if you have been a fan since you were a kid, as an adult now, I find it hard to fully enjoy it because there isn't enough time in the day with the new responsibilities of becoming an adult. But in the end, it is fun to play and hard to put the control down. Well worth the purchase. I might even buy it again once they release a ps4 version.

Grand Theft Auto was a pioneer in gaming since the emergence of the PC. I remember playing the 2D, overhead view GTA on our family PC when I was around 10-12 years old. As a very young child I was quite amazed by the concept. It gave you the freedom to live a reckless life without consequence in a sense. GTA evolved into a 3D, RPG, New York based MOB concept. Just like all of the great American MOB movies we loved as kids... Then there was Vice City... Vice City, Cocain Cowboys, Scarface... Growing up as a Scarface fan in the Great State of Florida, Vice City was their first Master Piece. You can purchase property, there are helicopters, and the story line's foundation mirrored that of the Al Pacino film character - Scarface. It was perfection. San Andreas brought in a new aspect of real life into the reality of gaming. Street Gangs, pimped out street cars, mountains, desert, and the beach. You could go to the horse races and win millions just like that. You could go to the airfield in the desert, chase down the vatos with your grove street homies, and get swoll at the gym. GTA went from New York MOB based, to Miami Vice Cocaine Wars, to the streets of L.A. I mean "San Andreas". Although San Andreas was not a complete replication of LA, it was at the time. Then you have Niko Bellic. The preliminary taste to Los Santos./ Driving features, shooting features, and graphic features all greatly increased with the release of GTA IV. The activity within GTA IV was limited to the masterful story line of Niko Bellics search for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of revenge. The game was limited to the greatness of the storyline, but understandably so. As the true and absolute recreation of Los Angeles was in the works. GTA V. The masterpiece of complexity within gaming. Gameception. First person Shooter, Need for Speed, RPG, freelance game, stock markets, parachuting, hiding from the cops in plain sight. Whatever you want you pretty much got it. GTA V is the picaso of gaming creation. Every detail down to the spray painted walls was carefully and correctly considered. Now enjoy yourself as you experience the true power of game creation at its best. --- Don't forget this was all done on the PS3 with downloadable content. Imagine the future of the PS4 and GTA.

When I bought my PS4, I happened to get the model that came with GTAV. The game is simply fun, just like it's predecessors. I ended up buying the PS3 version of this for my friend, who agrees - it's just a ton of fun!

I've been waiting for this game to come out for years and when it was finally announced I was so excited! Playing as three different characters with three different lives and personalities is something that is both interesting and challenging. The new open map is visually stunning with the amount of detail that went into creating this new vivid virtual reality. There are plenty of missions available for you to complete so you will never be left wondering around, unless you like to free roam like I do. This game does NOT disappoint.

GTA five is a great game to play. I like the different characters in the game. Each one has their own personality. I've only done a couple of jobs and they were pretty tough. Can't wait to get back into the game.

This games has it all. Hours of game play, good story line, enormous open world, great characters, and plenty of criminal activity for the devil in all of us. I've never been a fan of the flying and that still holds true for this rendition. But that's a personal qualm. I've been a gamer for almost 30 years. I've cut back over the years (wife, kids, work, school). Can't be dropping too much money on gaming when the kids are in college or need braces. Doesn't stop me for ever picking up a GTA title though! Buy it!

If you liked GTA 4, Red Dead, LA Noire, then you're going to like if not love this game. In fact, I don't know why I'm trying to convince you, you've bought it. I've always had issues with controls in Rockstar games, and they're still present here. I'm not sure if the controls aren't good or if I'm demanding perfection, but shooting is still not my favorite activity in Rockstar games. Running, etc. Anything you do on foot is still slightly wonky. But that doesn't detract from the experience. Story is a lot of fun to watch, and the world is probably the biggest video game sandbox ever with a lot to do. Few games offer this much to do fo 60$, in fact if 60 wasn't a standard rate, they'd be justified in charging more. Worth it even though I'll probably never finish it.

Rockstar managed to create another AAA game to end the current gen, heck. This could be the reason why NOT to move on to next-gen! With 30 hours of story and 100 hours of total gameplay it is well worth your $60. The story is great, Los Santos is back. Music? Epic! Graphics are extraordinary. I give it a 10/10 I don't see the reason why not to. Alongside with The Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite, this game is amongst those 3 games and one of the best games ever made. Period. Get it. Now.
