Low Rating is for GREAT NORTHERN POPCORN due to poor customer service. When I got the popcorn machine cart all together except to mount the storage box, only to find out one of brackets (Has a MFG defect). Part called “Long Shelf Bracket” was missing a hole to install storage container to cart brackets. Bracket wasn’t MFG correctly & QA control should see this error! Call Great Northern Popcorn thinking they would just send me a new "long shelf bracket" overnight to correct their MFG error. Boy, was I totally wrong! Lucky for me I got a very cocky Lady on phone and tells me it will take at least 2 to 3 weeks to get the part. I explained to her, it's just a piece of Fab metal and that your company is the ones who made the mistake. Explained to her that I order it for a party in 1 1/2 weeks. Well she goes off & tells me I shouldn’t have waited so late to order the popcorn machine. Told the lady, if all the parts had been good, I would have had the popcorn machine ready, full week before the party. Explained to lady, it's your company faults not mine! I explain since your company put a defective part in the shipping box, your company should send a new part ASAP for your mistake. All she would say is you should of plan better for your party and I will not ship you a part ASAP. Asked to speak to upper management or owner. She explains to me there is no one to talk to. So, I asked her, why does your company said in their Quality Statement “We take great pride in helping our Customers if there is a problem”. Then why aren't you going to honor it! Best Buy isn't a fault, Best Buy desires a 6 - star rating for their excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE. Maybe Great Northern needs to learn from Best Buy.

Makes 8 oz of popcorn in less than 5 minutes. Very good quality machine and stand. Kids love it

Set-up was fairly straight forward and took about 20 minutes. The machine is well built, sturdy and impressive looking. Makes delicious movie-theater like popcorn. Great addition to any family room or home movie theater.

We purchased this for my business so that we could give away popcorn at a trade show. We gave away around 350 20oz cups of popcorn. The machine performed perfectly. It looks great and is of a good quality.

This is so easy to use and the popcorn that comes out of it is just like if you were at the movie theaters.

Easy to use little hard to clean but worth the trouble.

the best machine have now had it for 5 years, we use it weekly to make a ton of popcorn that we bag up and eat all week, I just bent the little rod by while washing the little or it would still nbc going strong!! best gift ever!!!

When machine arrived put it together and popped popcorn, popcorn did not pop and kernels were burned. I tried it again and got same results. After further looking at machine, discovered that the stirrer was not moving, Called Great Northern for assistance and was told i needed to return to store for replacement, so I returned the machine and did not order another one. Based on this, I cannot recommend

The popcorn popper came in handy for our 3rd Annual Suicide Awareness Rodeo that my family has been having since I lost my son to suicide. But I and my husband noticed that when the popcorn popper in on the stand it is a bit top heavy and fell.

Use to make popcorn for our customers and they love it.

I got this with a gift card my husband gave me for my birthday last year(July) , and I couldn't decide what to buy with the gift card. I was browsing around in the appliance online section thinking about getting a good tile floor vacuum and I came across this popcorn popper. I've always loved the popcorn you get at the movies and our air popper nor microwave popcorn never comes close to the flavor as movie popcorn. It also looked like fun to have with company over, or our movie nights at home, and definately more fun than a vacuum. It was super easy and fast to assemble. The popcorn is excellent, and we enjoyed it while watching the Mayweather vs. Maidina fight. Used butter flavored oil, and salted the popcorn with popcorn salt and it tasted just like we were at the event. I highly recommend this popcorn popper. It's easy to use and makes a lot of popcorn in a short amount of time. Just stick to the instructions and it turns out perfect, no unpopped kernels or burnt popcorn.
