Low price for decent home security. The Guardzilla cameras picture quality was much better than I expected, not only during the day, but night vision too. Motion detection alerts are sent to your phone or email. At that time, you can open up the app and check to see who created the motion alert live, or if you have a micro sd card installed, the security camera will record a 10 second clip.(sadly, recording the clip has about a 2-4 second delay). Which you can watch from the app. I like the options to listen and speak between the app and the camera, but you can only do one of them at a time. Either Speak, OR Listen. You can also take a photo of the surveillance area from the app. Over all tho, if you can get this camera under $100, it's a great bang for the buck.

I bought this to monitor my home, in California, while I was on vacation, in Virginia. I had someone coming to my home to feed my animals and received some motion detector alerts while I was away. I was able to activate the camera from Virginia and able to monitor my home while I was across the country. I was also able to check in on my animals while I was away. I do not use the siren portion so I have no comment on that, however I did test it out when I first installed it and the alarm is weak sounding. Overall a good monitoring system for your animals and for home protection if put in the right place!

Bought this camera actually looking for something else and was very hesitant about buying it due to the price and it just coming out in January I debated upon in about a day or two decided to go buy it and to be honest couldn't have been happier the system runs great have excellent picture night vision is outstanding and the alarm activates when it is supposed to motion sensor can be set from medium to sensitive. This system does everything it says it Does, I loved it so much went to go purchase camera to on yesterday February 19 2015. this camera was not as simple to setup but with the help of an outstanding customer service rep Garreth and after talking to him on the phone for 2 days both him calling me and me calling him we discover that the second camera would have been a 3 minute setup except for the fact that, YOU CAN NOT HAVE MORE THAN 1 CAMERA PLUGGED IN DURING SETUP BECAUSE IT CONFUSES THE GUARDZILLA WIFI SETUP. After I unplugged the camera that was already linked to my phone I was able to log on to the second camera then plug the first camera back up because it was able to save its settings even though it was unplugged and had both cameras running. overall with the product itself and outstanding service of Godzilla customer service I would definitely have to give this a 5 out of 5 stars definitely worth the money and definitely a great system

I bought this a few days go and I'm very satisfied with my purchase! At only 100$ when other similar products like (nest) are 200$ +subscription...the quality is good enough (black and white)...oh and the night vision works GREAT with no light at all...and the quality watching it live depends on your cells or tablet Internet connection....definitely a in home product!

So I'm an employee at bestbuy, we see tins of people in and out for the store and many go to this device right here... I'm always interested in customer feedback back so since I was In the market for this type of thing I started asking previous buyers... the feed back was amazing... but as we all know the proof is in the pudding so I decided to check it out myself. When I unboxed it i felt very relieved that there wasn't a million pieces... it wasn't complicated to set up at all and came with easy one two three step instructions... Very impressed. The picture quality is very good and I was very surprised by how good the night vision was. I have it sitting up high in my man Cave down stairs and it's pitch black at night... but I look through the app and it looks like a sunny day in there. The alarm can be a bit tricky.... if you set the sensitivity low then it never goes off.... too high and the change in light as the day goes by will set it off... it's all about finding the gravy zone. The alarm does its job... it's quite annoying... not powerful but then again it doesn't have to be... the alarm is just as much about letting you know someone is in the home as it is letting the intruders know they have been seen.... The only thing I guess I could knock this device for is the two way talking... the app doesn't seem too stream lined for that feature just yet but I do always see the app developers working and releasing updates.

Good security camera in light and darkness. The camera's alarm system is somewhat susceptible to false alarms; however, it does the job it is supposed to do. I'll continue to use it, and recommend the product to anybody seeking easy, no-nonsense monitoring of their home that is very easy to set up at a very affordable cost with no ongoing fees attached.

    Nice and Compact

Nice and compact unit, about the size of compact air freshener. Looks like a glade air freshener especially if you put a glade sticker on it. Paid for itself after we caught the pet sitter in a crime. They keep improving the UI and functionality. Only problem now is when I have a power failure it will not reconnect to Wi-Fi. I have to reload the whole app back and setup all the settings. But I am satisfied with the unit.

This was easy to set up, has No monthly fees and is easy to use. I needed a camera in my house to check on my sitter and son. It is such a great peace of mind to be able to see, hear and talk to them when ever the mood strikes me. It has night vision and I was able to see what that scary noise was in the middle of the night without leaving my room. Luckily it was only the cat and I was able to put it in pet friendly mode. Really worth every penny!! If you have been thinking you needed a nanny cam but didn't want something fancy or hard to install you will be very pleased with this as a single mom it really fit my budget too.

I found this camera to be of low quality resolution, which wasn't exactly my biggest complaint. I knew the issue with the image quality before purchase but decided to give it a shot anyways. My biggest disappointment is with the user interface of Guardzilla. The interface constantly crashes at random points and the settings do not sync properly. I can't tell you how many times I had to re-apply my settings for them to work. I figured the issue was that the app was having troublea syncing between my phone and tablet, so I did a total factory reset on the camera and set it up only with my phone. To no avail, I'll probably have to reset all my settings later tonight. If you're looking for a cheap camera that will cover the basics, absolutely buy this camera If you're someone who is more interested in advanced functionality and/or a higher quality camera, I'd continue shopping.

Bought this product after my apartment was broken into and thousands of dollars of objects were stolen including computers, jewelry, family heirlooms, etc. and I do a lot of traveling and could not find myself feeling comfortable leaving for extended periods of time without a little more security. This product is wonderful in that you can disarm/arm the camera from ANYWHERE, can view your space from your phone, and get IMMEDIATE alerts (email, text, app notifications) as soon as motion is detected! I tested it myself to make sure the descriptions were true, because I almost couldn't believe it and thought it was too good to be true, but IT'S TRUE! An added bonus is its small size, discrete colors, and there are no bright lights on the device that would give it away in a dark room, so its very easy to hide from possible intruders. Great for dorm rooms, apartments, bedrooms, and homes! Love this product and highly recommend it!

I purchased this item and was fairly excited about its potential. Unfortunately, it does not live up to expectations. Setting up the device is simple enough but can be tricky depending on the wireless security you utilize. I had to change from a mixed WPA/WPA2 to WPA only. Images are slow to update and motion isn't fluid. Anything wifi connected should be as good as video streaming . This is not. It barely functions and is not fluid. I do not use the product as a result . It sits on a shelf. From a functionality standpoint, once connected to the internet you should be able to monitor your home remotely from wherever you are as long as you have Internet access. This is not the case. You have to be connected to your own wifi network to seen anything, if you are lucky enough to have a connection. I would pass on this and look at other options.

This camera is very easy to set up. I was not expecting the app be so easy to use but it was. The sensitivity of the motion sensor has 4 option and it has an panic siren that will scare the heck out of any intruder. You can also watch a live view of the monitor without recording as well as capture pics of anything suspicious. Great price, too!

My husband researched and chose the guardzilla for use while we were out of town overnight. It is a great device at a very reasonable price. You can set it to alarm loudly at movement, to stream video, available on phone or laptop, to record and save video....it's a really great and very simple to set up and use surveillance option.

We bought this for security when we went home for Christmas. We left this with our 5th wheel facing out the window. This is absolutely wonderful. Its description is so accurate!!!! I can be in a different state and check on things from my phone. I received text alerts and emails for any movement outside the window at the front door.

Easy set up and is as advertised. I now have (4) in all and they all work to my satisfaction. I had one issue with one camera where the IR lighting became dim. I returned it to BB where it was promptly replaced. So far, so good. A great beginner system.

Great Wireless Security Camera, With A Few Faults

I purchased two Guardzilla wireless security cameras for our home, and have had a very positive experience with them thus far. Up to four cameras can be added, and I'll outline the pros and cons briefly. PROS: Easy setup for multiple cameras Cameras operated solely from devices (iOS or A ndroid apps) - I personally think this is a plus since there is no web interface that can be hacked. Security images (when motion is detected after cameras are "armed") are preserved remotely on iOS and Android devices linked to cameras. Micro SD card slots (for video recording) No monthly fee! Excellent customer service (seriously, they called me directly to help with a problem!) CONS: Camera resolution is a little low (only SD) Apps are bit clunky No web interface (again, I see this as a positive myself, but can see how it might frustrate some people) No backup video recording online

Bought the camera becuase I suspected my landlord was entering my home in my absence. It was easy to set up and also purchased a larger capacity SD card, Got a motion detection alert and with the live feed was able to see that my suspicions were correct, I was also able to use the remote microphone and address him by name and inform him that the Sheriffs had been called and were in route. I think he might have soiled his pants. The only problem was that I purchased since then a second camera to put in a separate room and even with ph support was not able to add that camera without cancelling out the original camera.
