Highly recommend to anyone who feels they can't stare at a screen all day. I use these glasses and my eyes haven't felt tired yet. I just don't like the size. The frame is just a little too big for my face but it was all that was in stock and I needed it. Comfortable enough, I don't feel them on my nose. I don't normally wear glasses.

I have had these for a few months. I use these for extended periods of time on the computer and with gaming. The difference when wearing them is noticeable than without. Whether on a PC monitor, or laptop my eyes feel more comfortable when using the glasses. There is a noticeable change in view when removing them after prolonged usage. I have noticed in the past that there was slight discomfort (eye strain and sometimes slight headache) after long sessions of gaming especially. I haven't had that problem since trying these out. It has convinced me enough that I now rarely do any work on computer or game without slipping these on. The build quality is pretty good, I like the style as well. Seem to be a bit tougher to keep smudges away, but the included bag cleans them fairly well. I do find that once a week it is best to clean them with a monitor cleaner and wipe. Comfort level while wearing is excellent. I forget I have them on and wander around the house or office with them on at times. I will buy another pair soon for a slightly different style and so I don't have to carry with me between home and work.

These gaming glasses feel really well made. They come with a soft case and a cleaning cloth, and are not flimsy at all. I have a large size head, and they fit comfortably with no discomfort after extended wearing. The blue light filtering is excellent, and they really help ease eye strain and irritation.

I don’t write reviews for items unless I am shocked in either good way or bad way. First of all I want to appreciate to Best Buy delivering fast and also the sales on these glasses. Usually it is $65.99 and in this sale time I got it for $38.99 + tax. I used to look at these glasses so much before too, but because they are expensive, I used to think they are very extra ordinarily good quality and I always wanted to buy them. Finally this time I saw there was sales and I got them. Delivered on expected day, so good. And when I opened and put them on after receiving, I liked the quality, it seems it is sturdy. But I didn’t like: 1 - my eyes are staring at me because of the reflection- and I can see my skin under my eyes from that reflection. Reflection goes away either when it is too bright or too dark. In anywhere between normal light go darkness - I am seeing the reflection of my eyes. Maybe it is because the lenses are slightly arched. But it truly bothers me, and this was my big off. 2 - the shape seems manly and big for my face: size is great, but the way it looks I didn’t like at the beginning, but your eyes will used to get to see yourself with them, so it’s fine. (Square bottom of the lenses make u more tough looking) 3 - I bought computer glasses from other cheaper place but with expensive blokz lenses and frame back in 2021, and they sent me blue light laser along with glasses with 450n. So I can check and see how much of blue light passes through the lenses. When I use that laser and hold against the lenses from outside and putting white paper behind the lenses, I see my old glasses pass less blue light than the Gunnar 65. I am just so astonished $65.99 glass is same as 35 glass and $35 lenses do even better job than the $65.99 lenses. I think I will keep them but would definitely return if I had gotten it for full price. I wouldn’t buy them for $65.99 neither. This is what I think after seeing and trying. But I didn’t work with them yet, I will see how they help me when I have to work with them all day.

I have to be on the computer over 8 hours a day and my eyes were suffering. They got really red, and they were extremely painful. These glasses have made a huge difference. They don't eliminate the redness, but my eyes don't hurt anymore. It makes it easier for me to work and stay focused. Although they are advertised as "gaming" glasses, they work just as well for any computer activity where you have to stare at a screen for hours. These are the cheapest gunnar glasses I could find, and they look extremely geeky and large. Some of the newer versions are smaller and lighter. My brother has a pair of the more expensive ones. The nice thing about my pair is that the frame is very sturdy (plastic), where his are thin metal and feel really delicate. I bought a case to go with mine but they don't fit, so don't buy a gunnar case if you get these glasses. If you get a more expensive version, with the metal frames, the case is pretty essential.

Helps with headaches and sensitive eyes

Back story: I stare at 2 computer screens on most days for about 8 hours a day. I also like to unwind with some FPS (first person shooter)gaming on my 55" 4K. I have blue eyes and 20/20 vision. I suffer from chronic headaches and migraines. Point being my eyes are extremely sensitive to all light. My eyes are constantly strained and while wearing my expensive polarized sunglasses inside (which is not "cool") helps, it's not practical. After extensive research for glasses that would aid me in my working conditions, I found that Gunnar eyewear was my safest bet. Since my purchase I am fairly pleased with the product. I am not use to wearing these type of glasses and it takes a bit to get accustom to the lens but once your eyes have adjusted (takes seconds) they are very comfortable and I swear I can hear my eyes let out a sigh of relief every time I put them on. Taking them off after long hours of use takes an adjustment. Other than that I have had no problems. The additional warranty that best buy offers for them is amazing! $10 for the warranty and I have already dropped and scratched the lenses. I took them to my nearest Best Buy (not the one I purchased them at) and they replaced them right there with a brand new pair! I wish I had that warranty on my sunglasses!

I'm a 47yr old life long gamer and believe me when I say, these glasses are awesome. My eyes aren't what they used to be and certain games just kill my eyes and give me severe headaches. After reading reviews I got these to help and they went beyond what I was expecting. Quality made frames, the lenses actually enhanced the colors from my 4k TV and most importantly no eye stain and headaches!!.. I highly recommend these glasses for gamers that suffer from eye strain problems from playing..

These are great for protecting your eyes from the harmful blue light emitted from tv's and monitors. The fit is comfortable, the lenses are oversized, and the amber tint brightens up objects on the monitor. My eyes feel less strained after a long gaming session. Definitely will buy again and recommend to others.

I've been using gunnar glasses for years and can't use a computer without now, I bought these because my other ones have a smaller frame and just needed an update! Long lasting product, great quality, I've had my other ones for more than 10 years and I'll still use them on some occasions, best purchase you'll ever make, your eyes will thank you!

These glasses are really nice if you are going to be looking at a computer screen for more than 2 hours. It reduces the strain on your eye so after a few hours they do not feel dry and they also reduce blue light coming from a screen and they are comfortable to wear.

I work in front of a computer for 7 hours of each work day... I put the kids to bed and do some pc gaming for about 2 more hours.... when I hit the sack, I'm on my phone, reviewing best buy products, or searching the Web for my next gadget... that's a lot of screen time. I have been getting eye related headaches, and focus problems due to the blue light and other environmental inputs. I looked up "digital eye strain/syndrome " and learned a bit about my specific issue. If you spend lots of time on a screened device, and you have trouble sleeping, eye problems, or other symptoms related to digital eye syndrom, these glasses are worth a try. There are no other glasses made with this quality of glass, easily available. I also own Cheaper glasses purchased online "gama ray" they are good... but not as good as the gunnars. With any optic (weapon sights, reading glasses, binoculars) the higher cost is due to the expense of making a quality lense. Protect your eyes... 60$ is a small price to pay.

To be honest, I have no idea if these actually help with eye strain or headaches. I think they do, but it’s been really hard to identify a direct cause and effect situation. They definitely filter out the blue light well, and I think the screen images look sharper while wearing these. The fit is great though, and they’re comfortable to wear. So I suppose if they are helping with eye strain or headaches, I have no problem continuing to use them and believing they’re helping.

Thanks to Gunar glasses as they help me with the dry eyes syndrome. I have much less tears, muscle tensions and tightness during the screen time (I still use Biotrue eye drops for dry eyes syndrome) Moreover, it has a very comfortable shape, weight and size! Also, I'm grateful to the Best Buy for the best price option.

    There is no quality control

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Gunnar is experiencing quality control issues with Intercept lenses. This includes deformity in the plastic frame of the lenses. It also includes numerous scratches on the glass that are not very noticeable, but if you wash them with soap and water and dry them well, you will be able to notice them. These are also defects that affect the quality of vision. I told Gunnar about three pairs of glasses that had problems and they are investigating. I don't recommend you buy any more Gunnar pairs. Look for another, cheaper brand, such as Horus X.

As a Photographer and somewhat videographer, I tend to spend a lot of time looking at my computer screen and cellphone. I was starting to get eye strain and headaches and finally started looking into solutions. These were it, I've been using these for a couple weeks now and I can say one thing, I fall asleep easier and my eye don't hurt as much, nor do I get headaches. Highly Recommend for anyone who uses Screens for multiple hours a day
