Fairly easy to use, good price compared to online service.

This tax preparation software worked just as well for me as the more expensive brand I used in the past. The interview steps were clear and easy to follow. The program handled data import from brokerage forms and caught my input errors.

Having used other major tax software products, this is easy to use, updated regularly and fits the majority of folks filing their taxes. The question process and notes/help menus are well written and easy to understand.

I have only ever used this software program to complete my annual taxes. It is easy to follow the entry questions, review all the Forms and even has an audit function to run everything through prior to submission to the IRS.

Switched from TurboTax due to price. Was able to import last years filing with no issues. Step by step instructions and really liked being able to efile up to 5 returns.

I have used H and R for 20 years simple to use after download- Just input the data and it does the rest most of the questions are answered in the software and the support is there if needed.

I recently switched from Turbotax in 2022 and it’s essentially the same type of software at a much much cheaper price and deal! It even with import your last years tax files into the new software.

Been using this for at least 5years now. Easy to use. So far I've been getting refunds each year. The price is also better than other products out there.

I have used this software program for 5+ years now. While it has confusing issues at some junctures, ultimately it has been very good for me. Since in the past I did my own taxes and this is the only tax software I’ve ever used, I don’t know if a competitors software would be better or not (ie- Turbotax). One thing I really like about this software is that it takes information from previous filing years, which is stored on my computer, and uses “left over” deductions to reduce my current years taxes. It’s for this reason more than anything that I continue to use only H&R Block’s tax software. One of the biggest issues I have with this software, is that when I get to the end, it makes me review issues that it thinks are incorrect, including on worksheets, that aren’t correct or that aren’t material to the final result. It forces me to go way back into the return, and eliminate or “fake” things so that it will let me proceed to the end of the return. It’s VERY frustrating. With that in mind, I recommend that people try a different software instead of this one and see how it goes.

Worked fine for my simple return but had to hunt around for the energy credits.

I use this software every year for the last 10 years at least - and it has not disappointed! It's easy to use, it's accurate, and fast, and it offers an audit-free guarantee as well. I typically get the Deluxe version because it has a section to itemize your non-cash donations. As I've gotten better over the years with my tax returns, it only takes me a day to get my taxes done now. I love it!

I have been using this software for many years and every year I try to get the best deal which is usually from the H&R Block website. This year I purchased it at Best Buy at a discounted price and will continue to get it there in the future. I do taxes for my whole family, and this is the best software for the job!

I always use H&R block because that's what I started with. It is easy to use, but always shows red or yellow items to double check. Better safe than sorry. I have had issues in the past two years connecting with my accounts, but in general the auto download from your financial institutions works as well as any other software.
