using hr block for years now , very easy using this familiar software to do my taxes ,, you cannot and donna even try to do it manually,, you will waste days reading and trying to calculate your taxes ,,, it is too difficult and every years the govt irs makes it harder too .. that you have to use a package like this .. the download was easy and the same for all the past years too .. and of course in the past couple years ,,i think it force you to windows 10 or better to run the software

Purchased this tax software every year for my tax filing

I have been using this software (originally called Tax Cut) for over 40 years to complete our (married filed jointly) Federal and State taxes. I am amazed at IRS's tax complexity of something that could and should be so simple. But using this HR Blook Tax Software, it is much easier and definitely more accurate versus my pencil and calculator. Affordable, especially if you are able to purchase on Best Buy's "Deal of the Day". Completing annual taxes is nothing more than filling out the software's questionnaire. And then suppling data from tax forms received from employers, financial institutions, and other government agencies. Very doable! I also like the ability to somewhat calculate next year's taxes by plugging in different amounts for projected results. Not exact due to new tax law unknowns, but it does get you into the ballpark, just not front row seats... Used to include a CD that had the core software, but now that appears to be an obsolete method of software distribution. I get it, in all cases one must still download a current version with sporadic updates as the IRS and Tax Software companies get in sync with form changes. Last year my NC State failed to download and I had to contact HR Block Tech Support. They sent me a private link to another version of the NC State tax app. That worked, so I have to acknowledge support is available. This year, I did not encounter any download issues. Note that I continue to use HR Block Tax Software not necessarily because I believe it is superior to other tax software, but because it pulls in our previous year's core information and forms submitted. Save me time versus starting from scratch. Bottom Line: Very easy to navigate, plus I have never been audited using HR Block Tax Software!

Easy to install. Easy to use as long as you answer the questions. Software computes tax owed and fills out the Federal tax forms. Allows you to file electronically. Price is competitive to Turbotax.

This is my go-to tax software. My returns are not super complicated, so H&R Block makes them even easier. It transfers info from previous returns, then it walks me through step by step. I like the accuracy check feature, and the ability to save a submit multiple federal returns. You get one free state return, then there is a charge for addition State returns. Check the package for number of free filings. Electronic filing is easy and helps to get returns faster. I normally buy my software early in the tax season and work in small bits as documents arrive.

I have used this program for many years and I would not have done so if it were not accurate, easy to use, dependable, and well priced

I have used H&R Block tax software for over a decade. The software is easy to use and accurate in it's calculations. The interview style of questions makes the preparation of taxes and almost effortless task. From beginners to experts it suits all users. In addition to the effortless tax preparation, the five free Federal filings makes the price worth it. Combine the free download for a state program only sweetens the deal. I would definitely recommend this product.

This year was smoother than a few past years. I had no problem installing and more importantly updating or installing the state software. I’m past years, one or both of the latter tasks were a problem. All things considered, it went smoothly for the whole process. I have used this tax software for years and the interface is familiar and easy, especially when I don’t really have any major complications to deal with in preparation of my taxes.

Good product, easy to use. I have used TurboTax in the past, but this year TurboTax could not (or would not) import last year's data, saying the file was too large. H&R Block software imported the same data from last year very quickly. I have had similar problems importing data with TurboTax in other years, and my son recommended that I use H&R Block. i will continue to use H&R Block in the future.

I have been buying this type of H&R Block tax software every year. Aside from the ease of importing previous data, the tutorials for anything new to itemize is easy to understand. The filing process is also straightforward.

So easy to use and less stressful than using a CPA. Been using this for several years and it does everything except K-1 import but only takes a few minutes to add manually. Great value and easy import from last years return.

The best and least expensive way to do your own taxes is with H&R Block Tax Software. They have a variety of choices depending on your specific filing needs but generally this Deluxe + State that I used will be sufficient for most taxpayers. The program walks you through every area and item on the return, step by step, asking the questions you need to properly complete your return. It will advise you if Itemized Deductions or Standard Deduction is best for your specific return. You can also skip some of the area's if you know they do not pertain to you. It is not overly complicated and most individuals can complete their Federal and State (if required) Tax Return with minimal stress. This program also included up to 5 free e-files for Federal and for State. If you want to prepare you own tax return and save money, I highly recommend H&R Block Tax Software and the best place to purchase it is at Best Buy.

H&R Block software is easy to install and use. It walks you through filling out the tax forms with helpful prompts. Reminds you to save and print your work along the way. I’ve used it for several years without having to re-input basic information.

Easy software to complete your taxes!! You can easily import information from your favourite accounting software and if need be take photos of w2 to extract data. Downloading software was easy to do. Got my refund already!

It is accurate, easy to uae, and reliable. Every year I use it and every year it gets me money back from the feds and tells me I still owe the state of MN more because, well, it's MN.

Used this for years to process my taxes. Its an easy to use program. Nice that pulls my info from previous years and prefills in the info. Never had an issue downloading it
