I have used this a few years in a row now to prepare a partnership return. The program defaults on many of the questions require research to answer, so is tiresome. I run into problems with the balance sheet portion. Currently the help feature seems disabled. Had to wait on hold for close to 2 hours before got a representative. Phone system is terrible with only a confusing automation system to even get to where can ask for help. They could not figure out how to enter certain information (additional contributions by partners) and said someone else will get back to me within 24 hours. I assume they will get back to me, but overall the business software seems flawed and with very limited help topics and currently not allow the online chat feature they push.

Excellent yearend tax preparation program for self-employed individuals and small business owners

It worked great for our needs as a small business.

The Business software was easy to use once installed. I used last year’s version and, at that time, exported my return so my sensitive data was not sitting on my PC. After installing 2020 software I tried to import 2019 - it didn’t work. I called the help line and they walked me through the process of ‘fixing’ last year’s app to see my data. In the end, the 2019 Business app saw my data but 2020 was unable to access it making me retype everything.

I have been using the product for several years now, and always enjoy it, there are some new items every year, but almost the time I learning the tax terms, I act and fill like a professional, I only notice that this year did not take me to the you tube explanations.

This software package seems to coordinate well with lower levels of H&R Block tax software used in previous years. No problems so far with using most but not all of it's features. After tax season I will have a more precise opinion.

So far, easy to follow along and use. I am only half way through. Some answers to questions are a bit generalized which leads you to guess. But so far no issues

The program worked fine. I easily imported a lot of last year's data which made preparation a lot easier.

easy to use directions and installation includes state tax return

This is the tax program that we always use. Downloading was easy, but I wish they still had the option to order a physical CD.

I bought to prepare two 990 returns (exempt organization). The returns are very involved but this software makes it doable

I used Turbo tax for over 20 years, and got tired of my cost going up every year while they made it free or new users, they had no loyalty so why should I, H&R block software was easier to use, transferred my TT files without issue and send me coupons to save money each year.
