This is a soprano ukulele so it's quite small and I find it difficult to play clear chords with my thick fingers. The online description does not specify this but does give the dimensions of the instrument. Also says it includes a CD but no CD is included. What it does provide is a link to a website with the instructions. You can then download the files from the site and produce your own CD. You'll also have to tighten the screws on the back in order to get it to keep it in tune. Otherwise, it slips out of tune easily. Other than that, it's okay and is actually fun to play and has really good sound.

I am a guitar player so have some basis for comparison and rating. Good all around beginners package. DVD and book are easy to follow. The uke will be good enough for a beginner but can use a little tweaking from someone that knows what to do. For the price, I would purchase as a gift for a beginner.

My grandson loves this little Ukulele... The acoustic quality may not be great but it's loud enough to be heard clearly within a 25 ft radius. For an inexpensive musical instrument, the finish is very good!

My wife has always expressed an interest in learning to play the ukulele. I bought this kit to see if it would be possible for her to learn on her own. So far this kit has provided her with the tools she needed, and she has really taken to it, I could see myself upgrading her ukulele in the near future. She's had a great time learning

I'm a complete beginner at stringed instruments. I've heard ukulele is easy and that's been true for the most part. It does take some tuning every few minutes right out of the box, but the longer you play around with it the longer it'll hold the notes. Great choice for beginners, for sure. The kit comes with a little theory book with a chord glossary in the back -- really handy.

Great starter to learn how to play the ukulele. Hard to keep tuned but I think that will change after strings loosen up

Takes a while to tune it but it plays fine for an inexpensive uke. My granddaughter wanted one ever since she heard the song "I Adore".

This is a good instrument for beginners trying to learn how to play a ukulele. Comes with a helpful book and DVD's to start learning the basics. Overall it was a nice gift and they liked it. My only complaint is that the strings become untuned quite frequently. Every few minutes I have to retune it. Other than that I feel it was a good purchase for $19.99.

Instrument and instructions are great. But there is a cancer warning on the box that was not part of the information provided when I was researching the product. When I sent a message to the manufacturer I didn't get any response. That was disappointing as I purchased 2 as Christmas gifts for my granddaughters.

My 4 year old daughter has been wanting a "small guitar" for a while now. I decided on a ukelele and I got this on special. It was perfect for her. The strings get out of tune a lot at first. However, the more you strum it, the strings seem to stay more in place. The quality is not bad for the price. It keeps my daughter entertained and she loves walking around the house strumming the strings.

This uke is perfect for the beginner! The book will get you started having fun right away. I actually purchased it to use when I will be around children who want to try it out, so that I don't have to risk my more expensive instrument.

I bought this for my Grandson to play with, he enjoys it. Nice size for the little guy, but sized as all Uku's. Great instructions and videos included. Well worth the price. I plan to buy a couple for next Christmas and use as a White Elephant gift, will he a hoot.

Is packages perfectly and comes with books that teach you how to play the ukulele. Great for a new learner

I was initially very excited for this new ukulele kit. It was a gift to myself for Christmas. However, as hard as I tried I could not tune the Ukuele without it coming all undone within a couple of minutes. All of the strings remain loose and it is more frustrating than enjoyable. The learning book etc are really helpful and it's the only reason I didn't return the product. I did have to buy another ukulele that remains tuned.

so this is a very pretty ukulele, but as other have stated it doesn't hold a tune. I am guessing we will need to get different strings. $20 was a great price so hopefully cost of new strings won't be too pricey

You can easily learn more just watching some YouTube videos. This thing loses tune pretty quickly. But it was cheap so what can I expect.

This was an impulse purchase when Best Buy had it on sale. When I saw it I thought it would be great for my 5-year-old granddaughter. I wouldn't say it's her favorite toy, but she does come back to it over and over. We haven't tried to play it very seriously yet, but it's on my list for us to learn together. Money well spent.

For the price a good starter for my teenager daughter. Size seems small but would be right fit for younger children who wants to learn. Did not use the enclosed instructions/CD just You Tube

Got it for my five year old because she used yo mess with my guitars all the time. She didn’t use it much, and ended up breaking it after A few months because she fell on it. Had a hard time tuning it and getting to keep a tune, but not bad for a cheap little Uke for a five year old. If you’re serious about playing one I’d look at better quality ones, but if you just need to keep little hands occupied and off of your instruments this is great.
