The story was great because it expanded in the fight and the people surrounding Durán. It also showed the more human side as well as explained a bit more of the reasoning for the "no más". BUT, the big question that's always surrounded this story that it doesn't touch on is whether or not or how much of it is true. Some real testimonials by the real people is what was needed at the end.

While Usher's portrayal of SugaRAY Leonard pales in comparison to Will Smiths "ALI," The singer does an adequate job of giving us what The real Sugar Man did not; A LOOK IN2THE MINDSET of what drove the fiercest & most anticipated Boxing Rivalry since Ali Vs. Frazier 1. GET IT IF YOU'RE A BOXING BUFF, enjoy it as a fan.

A classic cinderella story about coming from nothing to hitting it big, add a bit of politics during the Panama Canal controversy, from the look of the people, and a latino boxer trying to get recognition from the boxer community in the states. Great performances and a great story.

Went into this movie not knowing anything about it. Seeing a different side of the story (other than USA all the way) is a pleasant change and makes the story entertaining. Also the change of characters throughout the story builds with the phenomenal acting by some great artists of their craft.

The true story of one of the most hyped fighters brings heart and soul to the silver screen. With movies like Creed and Southpaw getting all the attention, this little gem may slip your mind, don't miss out on a good film with one of the best performances by DeNiro since Taxi Driver.

I didn't know what to expect. Usher playing sugar ray I didn't know how I felt about that on paper. But it flowed well. The movie was a great boxing movie. And I now have a greater appreciation for the hands of stone. He was a true warrior. They don't make those anymore.

I think Hands of Stone is a very underrated movie. It follows the 5th ranked pound for pound fighter of all time Roberto Duran, and legendary coach Ray Arcel. Well written part for both characters, also really enjoyed when Roberto Duran won the title...Roberto di Nero, Edgar Ramirez, and Usher are all fabulous acting.

This movie is definitely one for the books and how they revisited sugar ray Leonard's first loss to Duran and I liked the back ground story to Duran and his upbringing that they included to lead up to who he was and what he was fighting for! One of my favorite movies forever!

Fascinating storyline. Never realized a lot of the info about the main characters. (See for yourself - don't want to spoil the ending). Boxing scenes not too special but who could emulate two of the greatest like Duran and Leonard?

I really liked this movie because Edward Ramirez and usher did a great job of imitating Roberto Duran and sugar ray Leonard. Gives you a good look into there personal lives and makes you understand what really went on between them two.

both actors played the parts very well. The real fighters should be proud of what was done in this film . Definitely put a light on what the mindset was of the fighters back In the day
