The size and form factor are great. The speaker takes up very little space in a bag or can even squeeze into your pocket. The kickstand it great, allowing for the thin profile when not in use. The build looks and feels premium. Pretty solid. The leather on the back is a great touch. The sound quality is very clear and can get fairly loud. The bass is minimal as to be expected at this size. However, the sound is big enough to be satisfying in a normal sized room, office or apartment. You can't expect to "feel" the sound from such a small device. The battery charging feature is nice to have. Using the speaker as a battery pack will quickly drain the unit but still great to have. One feature that I would like to have would be the battery level indicator on my iPhone. Most speakers these days will show you the battery level of the speaker in the status bar on your iPhone. This one does not. Not a big deal but an update would be nice. Speaker phone feature sounds good on both ends of the call. Overall great product.

Love, love, love this little speaker system. The sound is excellent for my purposes and it is extremely portable because it is so small. Easy to use. The only negative thing I would say is the sound might not be loud enough if you were trying to use it at a noisy beach, or gigantic ballroom. But I use it at a Senior Center, in a large space, and the sound is outstanding for my tastes and definitely loud enough. I actually hook my old iPod Nano to this small speaker with a special purchased cord, because my iPod doesn't have bluetooth connection; other times I connect the speaker via bluetooth to my iPhone. One charge of the speaker lasts about 6 hours, altho it takes a bit of time to recharge. I also plan to play my flute along with accompanying CD music with this speaker. It can also be used as a speaker phone for your smartphone. Very versatile because of its small size/portability and great sound.

I bought this Harmon Kardon - Esquire mini speaker for my son-in-law for a gift. He is a pilot and so I needed something light that packed well in his bag. He loves it! Excellent sound that is balanced and clear. It is small, so of course the bass is not huge, although it is adequate and does sound nice. Highly recommended.

I must say that I am very impressed with this product, however, there a are a fair share of pros and cons. To start, a definite plus with this product is its clarity, and I am a true fan of clarity. This little tiny speaker is very loud and clear when it comes to music, as it is expected considering it is made by Harman Kardon. This speaker is very loud and clear for its size but bass is minimal. Although it is expected for bass to be minimal in this tiny size, it still does produce as much as you would expect from such a small speaker box. Do not get me wrong, this speaker does produce low tones as well as high tones, however, it is not going to please a bass lover; to be so small though, I don't think that a bass lover would even purchase this product because it would be impossible to produce actual bass with such a small size... In summary, I think this product does exactly what it is supposed to do, and that is to produce music at a very loud volume with the greatest clarity possible. After all, it is Harman Kardon, so it does perform exactly how you would expect. It is also very convenient, allowing you to charge your phone off of its extra long battery life. Overall, I would say that it is superior in sound quality, lacks bass (as to be expected), and is very very convenient on the go!!! I would honestly purchase this product again and again! Go Harman Kardon!!!!

I needed a very portable Bluetooth speaker that sounded good, and after reading quite a few reviews and talking to friends, I chose the Harman Kardon Esquire. Having traveled as part of my job for nearly 20 years, I was also searching for a good Power Bank to recharge my iPhone while on the road. Turns out, the Esquire is a great solution for both! It's small, sounds and looks great, pairs easily using Bluetooth, and has a built-in "kickstand". Best of all, when my phone needs a little boost, I just plug it in to the Esquire and recharge. One other feature I love - the Esquire has a series of LED lights on the edge indicating remaining battery life. My only complaint is the lack of accessories - no travel bag or case, and the USB cord is a rubbery "ribbon" style and doesn't roll up very well. There's no actual AC adapter, but you can use any adapter that accepts a USB connection - like those come with most cell phones. The Esquire comes in several different colors, and I chose Gold simply because it's easier to see in my black computer bag. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

We are very pleased with our new Bluetooth speaker by Harman Kardon! Setting it up is very easy and the sound that comes out if superb. I think my favorite thing about it though is its sleek stylish look. I have the rose gold color and it is great to keep in my purse and bring out when you want that little bit extra to your music experience. I give it 5 stars!

I was in the market for a Bluetooth speaker that could fit into my pocket. SO i was looking for the compactness and something that could still put out the sound needed in a busy environment with a lot of noise. This has definitely filled the needs I was looking for. Its size is comparable to an iPhone 6 for surface area and two iPhone 6 sitting on top of one another for the thickness ratio. A MUST BUY!!!!!

This Harman Kardon portable speaker is awesome. I like its size and sleekness. It fits in almost any pocket and easy to take with almost anywhere. It has great sound quality. Besides listening to music, it works great for conference calls also. Just activate the Bluetooth function on my mobile phone and I'm ready.

The best features are its compact size and good looks. It fits in my pocket. Great for office desktop, professional appearance. Very good as a speakerphone. For music playback, it falls a little short on the bass. Best for a small room at a lower volume.

This little portable blue tooth speaker has a great sound and enough volume to fill a room without distortion. Easy to pack because it's flat, not bulky. Recommended for on-the-go person. I use it for my fitness class.

This is my second HK device, the first being the Onyx. I love this little box of love. It is wireless, quality, and a battery pack. Now the battery is not going to charge your phone but it will hold for about 20 minutes. The sound is amazing. I listen to a variety of music and a mid to high level of volume. It does not have white noise when you get higher in volume. It is very portable. I have placed this in my back pocket to see if it would fit. I love it and my wife wants one too.

This speaker is a little on the pricier side BUT it is completely worth it. I use this in my classroom and this speaker has great battery life and is audible enough to where everyone can hear it in the classroom.

I have recommended this for friends. The sound quality is incredible. Better than "B" brand. Doesn't just focus on a bass. You hear the fingers strumming the instrument. Like your in the room. I liked it well enough to purchase two more.

I bought this Bluetooth speaker because I use my cell phone for work as our desk phones are terrible. For music, the sound is very good and it even delivers a little bass to keep things interesting. It will not rattle your desk but the sound is pleasing at low to moderate volume. Where this speaker really shines is as a speaker phone. It makes conference calls very doable from your cell phone and provides a very good speaker phone experience. Because of this feature, I do not miss my desk phone at all. Lastly, it has a USB port that can be used for lite charging. And it does all of this while looking and feeling very cool. It even has a built in kickstand to keep It upright while in use. Very cool. It's a little pricey but not too bad. Enjoy!

Got this to play demos for small groups from my iPad outside. I had tried another brand but the sound did not carry so I returned it and got this one. Paid a little more but this one is clear, loud enough, and easy to use. Also the small 'cellphone' size is light, easy to hold, and fits in my brief case cellphone holder. It's perfect for the job and am pleased that I got it!

Easy to operate. Charging is easy. The sound is good enough for the size but it sort of cracks when the volume is high. Can easily tuck away. Price wise , a bit on the high end for the quality of the sound.

This is a decent speaker with fairly decent sound, a bit tinny at times with little bass. Battery life a little better than advertised, but I imagine will get worse with wear. Sounds better with aux cable than it does with Bluetooth.

I was looking for a speaker which my wife could carry around with her and of all the speaker out there, I am glad I choose this one. The sound is great and you can hear it from across the room. It is easy to use but I think what she love the most, was it was beautiful.
