Very nice looking speaker with upscale looking metal mesh housing. Fantastic bass and clear high notes. I like the volume knob on top ring to get custom volume setting. Cortana is amazing and funny too. Just ask her if she likes dogs.

The sound and styling is excellent for the size of the speaker. The voice commands are still limited but expanding every day.

SOUND IS INCREDIBLE! Quite impressive considering how small the device is! I now use my Invoke to play music while gaming, and the microphones have no trouble picking up my commands during intense battle (even though the speaker is located behind me in the kitchen!). Music can easily fill my living room (22' x 18') and even reached down the hall into the bedrooms. As a smart speaker, I am happy to be reminded of upcoming calendar appointments, being able to hand-free set timers while cooking, and ask funny facts. The Cortana experience is the best you can get if you use a Windows computer, and there are Cortana apps for Android and iOS to keep you up-to-date while on the go. Plus, the app allows for very easy feedback submittal to help improve Cortana.I am considering buying another to keep in my bedroom! Great product.

The sound is great deep bass clear highs. Very good looking. Cortana a little limited as well as the hardware.

The first thing I thought of when I heard the speaker turned up was WOW. I have had a Sonos play1 for about a year which I really like, and picked up a echo dot with another speaker last week. I perfer this over those 2, the sound quality and clarify is just amazing. Load up some John Williams tracks and you will see how good it is and the stuff you heard with this speaker you probably haven't heard on tracks before. Cortana works well for me for what I use, it looks like there will be updates in the future for more expanded skills. I mainly just use it for audio and its great especially for this price!

The Invoke by Harmon Kardon is a great speaker. The sound you get from the speaker is Harmon Kardon quality. The Cortana assistant works well when connected and setup correctly. The only downside to this speaker is that you cannot connect it your phone to play music stored on your device. It will play your playlist from Spotify and iHeart Radio and such but not from the phone's playlist.

I use windows 10 and Microsoft services for nearly all my personal resources. I had a Windows mobile 10 device and still do and I really enjoyed it. I use Cortana on windows 10. It is on par with the rivals like Siri and Alexa. If you are wanting a device that can connect with these environments this HK Invoke is perfect. The sound is amazing and clear and can easily fill a large area. Cortana can clearly pickup your voice from across the room. The device can tie in to many popular smart home devices. I purchased mine while on sale for half off. I am not disappointed with its integration into Microsoft products that allows it to flow to my PC and mobile phone.

This is a well built speaker. Everything about the hardware is awesome. Especially the $99 price, lol. I would've purchased this for $200. Cortana is good so far. Lack a few commands than the Amazon speakers. But I can see it catching up daily with new commands. Plus the free Skype calling ability is a HUGE bonus. Took me 10 minutes to get everything up and running.

I've had this more or less since launch and as I was anticipating it. I was waiting to see reviews of this vs the Echo Plus as far as sound quality and everyone said this is much better. Sound is great. One could argue that it's worth the money just as a speaker alone. I think Cortana is a much better assistant than Alexa as I have used both. As far as 3rd party compatibility, Cortana isn't quite on Alexa's level, but it works with all of the services I use (Outlook calendar, Skype, Spotify, Wunderlist). I do not own any smart home devices yet but I plan on it. Bottom line, I think using the Invoke with Cortana makes the most sense for me as I already use Cortana on my PC and on my phone. It's the one assistant that you can use on all of your devices.

So I am a bit of a gadget junkie and while this device has the best sound, I have so far found its daily uses less numerous than the those of its competitors unless I pair other devices to it and use it merely as a speaker. But it does so great which is why I bought it.

This Invoke speaker by Harmon/Kardon is a great sounding speaker for a fairly large room. It works with Cortana which doesn't have many "smart home" features yet which is why it received a low rating on smart home devices by a reputable computer magazine. None the less, I purchased this speaker because of the brand and my only use would be for music and it does the job once you set it up. I like the Bluetooth feature because I can sync it to my phone and play music stored in my phone. Just say: "hey Cortana, turn on Bluetooth" then it asks what to connect to. Very Kool!

Was looking for something compact and easy to use with a good value and easy to use. Love this product.

It's a great bluetooth speaker. The sound is great, but it took me sometime to set it up. It didn't connect to the network right away. But other than that, it's great! I would recommend it!

The speakers of this unit is solid and better than Amazon's Echo. Good choice if you are a music fan. The integration with SmartThings is perfect and I have no issues controlling my home's smart devices using the Cortana personal assistant.

This speaker is absolutely amazing, best sounding one I’ve listened to. Cortana is a nice addition as well, way better than Siri or Alexa. Way more sound than I ever expected, but it’s Harmon Kardon they always over engineer everything!! And Say what you want about Microsoft, but the voice recognition is leaps and bounds better than Siri and Alexa. My iPhone 7 never gets anything I say correct, but this Invoke gets it every time

Microsoft has entered artificial intelligence and voice enabled device. As far as the sound is concerned excellent sound should get five stars. But limited voice enabled apps compared to Amazon and Google

I have Amazon echos and google home. Thought I would try this out. Not disappointed at all. The sound is amazing and voice quality sounds natural. Hopefully they add more skills but works well with my home automation setup. Also got it on sale. Definitely a winner. Purchased a second one as well.

Harman Kardon knocks it out of the park. Sounds better than its competition, and is extremely well built. The lack of commands might bother some. But I expect more to be added on a regular basis.
