This speaker is real good. The sound is amazing. It has good bass and also carry anywhere. It also lasts long. I love it and definitely recommend to everyone.

Once again, Harman/Kardon has shown why they are a top notch speaker manufacturer. The crisp and clear sound quality from this speaker is amazing. I can hear the sound so great that I think I am in front of the artist or group playing. I have had their speakers products going back to a shelf stereo when I was growing up and was blown away then just as much as I was blown away when I pushed play on my device. The bluetooth feature has great range and the battery life exceeds any expectations. I will be able to listen to my music more than I will be charging it!!!

I have the larger version of this guy and love it. I bought this smaller version for guest to use at my VRBO and I used it before taking it there to try it out. Wow is all I can say. Sounds great, looks great and love the solid well built feel. The built in battery is great also. You can't go wrong here if looking for a small, Bluetooth, portable speaker. Just remember it's small so you won't be shaking the windows, but it is very clear and not tinny at all. Get one or two.

I was excited about this because I don't like using charging plugs from other electronics. The sound it good, the speaker is lightweight, color is great! Works from a good distance range in the house.

I was looking for a rechargeable, portable, bluetooth speaker with a small footprint to transport to a variety of places.....in the car, to the beach, working in the garage.....you get the point. This compact speaker delivers a high quality of sound and produced more volume than expected. I purchased the speaker during a flash sale and got an incredible deal....glad I ventured out to BEST BUY to check out the sale items. Well worth the money invested.

When I first got this thing, it was so tiny that I thought it wasn't going to sounds good, have any bass, and overall just be a disappointment. Then I started playing some songs and it blew me away. Now it's not going to be ear throbbing loud, but man, this thing is loud!!! And it has really good bass for its size. Not to mention 10 hours of battery life. This thing is a win win. Highly recommend it

Ok. I also bought the Harman Kardon Onyx 3, so this review is sort of a comparison of a few things. The Onyx mini sounds really good. We compared it to JBL and a few other more durable and portable speakers, since this was a gift for our teenage son. We preferred the sound of this speaker but would have chosen one of the others if he had wanted to bring it to soccer or football practice. Battery life is good and was so easy to set up. Obviously it is not as much bass as the Onyx 3, but still sounded good and got loud enough for our son. For rap music it lacks, but so did all the other tested speakers. Price at Best Buy was awesome.

Was looking for a reasonably priced wireless speaker for a gift. The looks of this one caught my eye, then the sale price was very good - much less than the Amazon price. The unit sounds great - loud, clear and very nice bass for the size. Was able to get quite loud with no distortion. The person I bought it for loves it, and so do I. Want to get another one for myself.

Was testing different speakers in the store. This one didn't have a test mode so I linked it to my phone and played a few of my tunes. It was a hit, BIG SOUND out of a small package. Great bass middle sharp and highs clear even maxed out. Bluetooth stayed connected all the way out the door, was still jamming my tunes as I left. Will work with Echo as well.

Sounds great for the size and for the bargain price I paid. At MSRP, a bit overpriced, but at $55, a no brainer purchase. Bass is a bit stronger than the other frequencies, but definitely not overbearing. Battery life is great and the angel of the speaker is very good at maximizing the sound you hear!

Harman/kardon - Onyx mini exceeded all my expectations. It is smaller than I imagined, but this bluetooth speaker puts out big music sound. In keeping with Harman Kardon sound this bluetooth speaker is very clean and crisp in the sound it emits and can get quite loud in relation to its size. The bass is tight and not boomy with the nice separation of the lows where bass guitar notes are clear as well as the bass drum in music. The bass is definitely there and can be felt, but not overpowering and boomy like my JBL Charge 2+( which I like quite a bit as well). I would say the frequency response is more on the flat side and not boosted on the lows or highs, just a clean crisp all around great small speaker. Oh, and it pairs perfectly with an Amazon Echo Dot. If you plug the speaker in (it uses a standard micro-USB connector, and comes with the appropriate USB cord and wall unit charger), it will remain on and ready to talk to you Echo--no time-outs. At higher volumes, you can easily fill a room with sound. And, as I mentioned, you can push the speaker up to full volume and it's still pleasant to listen to, which is the exception, not the rule, with portable bluetooth speakers.
