This blaster uses the same motorized firing system as the Nemesis and Prometheus but it actually runs faster in my opinion. This is a "slimmer and smaller" profile than its big brother, Nemesis. The grip and stock are very comfortable and easy to maneuver around with. The rechargeable battery is a nice add and in my opinion can justify the price. Battery removal is easy and does not need a screwdriver! It will not come out accidentally either as you need two separate coordinated movements to release. This fires fast so buy extra rival rounds. Advanced nerfers may modify this for more ammo but this is as perfect as it gets for a stock blaster.

Avid Nerfer here. I collect and play in a sporting manner. For a while, I used the Nemesis as my primary choice, but when this blaster was revealed and announced I knew I had to get my hands on one. This thing shoots stupid fast. You will blow through all 50 rounds in 5 or 6 seconds. It's so satisfying and fun. The fact that it includes a rechargeable battery unlike the Nemesis is also a big plus to me. Too bad they don't sell these batteries separately yet (if ever). The one massive drawback though, is the hopper. More specifically, the hopper door. It's just an ugly flapping door, whereas on the Nemesis it's a sliding hatchdoor. It makes loading this thing a pain in the rear. And more often than not, it doesn't shut all the way, which prevents the blaster from even turning on to rev the flywheels. Plus, it makes loading the blaster difficult as if you aren't careful in hold the blaster a certain way while reloading, you can end up closing the door while loading. And now the balls you were loading are all over the ground. There are modication parts on etsy and such to address this issue, but it should never have been an issue in the first place. I highly recommend the blaster, but be aware that the hopper door can hold you back on a lot of the fun.

My son has gotten me back into Nerf recently, and I have to say the Nerf Rival line is extremely fun. Throw in the Rival Perses and the fun goes to a whole new level. The Perses boasts that its the fastest shooting Nerf blaster there is, and I don't doubt it. This blaster also comes with a rechargeable battery which is very nice, don't have to mess around with disposable batteries. There was a lot of thought and effort involved in this blaster to make this one of Nerf's best blaster ever made! I highly recommend this blaster!

It's one of Nerfs very best. The speed,acurracy and distance are above par for an unmoddified blaster. One of the best things about the gun is also the worst thing about it, because it can shoot 8 rounds per second which is cool but you run out of ammo pretty fast. Sometimes you don't wanna let off the trigger it's so exciting. But the website (Out of Darts) has a simple paintball style hopper mod that increases your ammo from 50 to 160 rounds. Easy install and he has a video that shows you how. Check it out.

The Nerf Rival Perses is the most incredible Blaster that Hasbro has ever made. Great rate of fire, compact with amazing ergonomics, and a rechargeable battery. This is definitely the hottest Blaster of the year!

This gun is a must have. I really like the rate of fire and ease of use. Also it comes with a rechargeable battery that eliminates the need to buy batteries. Very powerful gun with a cool hopper that is meant for older kids.

I don’t know what can top this blaster when it has this much rate of fire for the size. Only major downside is the ammo capacity as many have noticed. You can buy a 3rd party extension/mod for the hopper from people like Luke at OutOfDarts. I’ve yet to do so but is a no-brainer to get. It seems like Nerf cheaped out with the firing trigger as it’s uncomfortable and locking up for some reason without the safety engaged (might have to mod the trigger). If the battery is fully drained it takes up to 4 hours to recharge it, but lasts for awhile. Definitely get this when it’s on sale.

yeah this is infact the most over powered nerf blaster ever! it's form factor is great for rushing a base or taking out a dozen opponents grouped together however shooting 8 rounds a second means that you will go through your 50 rounds in a 2 minutes. be prepared to shake this blaster because the loading tray is very slim. also these rounds hit hard so wear a full mask and be safe.

I got it on sale, its definitely worth it. It comes with a rechargeable battery and power adapter. Holds 50 rival rounds. The bottom trigger revs up the motor, the top trigger let's the balls loose. I was blown away at how fast, accurate and powerful the balls shoot out compared to elite darts. The only drawback is having to pick up all the balls when you are done blasting.

Positives-shoots somewhat faster than and is lighter and less cumbersome than a Prometheus. Negatives-because it only holds 50 rounds and shoots about 8 rounds a second, you WILL run out of ammo very quickly. I’d recommend getting a hopper extension if you can. The hopper door is not ambidextrous so be careful when loading it.

My son wanted the Perses for battles with his friends. He said, “Dad, you should get one too”. Well,I did and what a blast this is. So easy to load, shoots crazy fast and lots of fun. My son had a friend sleep over a couple nights later and we had a battle for almost 2 hours!

this gun was bought because of what the youtube guys were saying....they weren't lying. great gun. fast shooting, long range, easy load. plus the battery lasts a long time.

The Perses has been the best rival gun that I have ever purchased. Has a high rate of fire, something similar to a hopper built in, complete with rechargeable battery and charger and 50 rounds of ammo. I highly recommend this rival gun. The children never stood a chance in our nerf war. Control your trigger presses and you can conserve ammo and get off a single headshot/body shot with plenty to spare.

Easily the best thing from Nerf this year as it is super simple to operate and very powerful apx 100fps and a high rate of fire. Great gift idea and a much better choice than "Ultra".

Bought this for my nephew and he loves it! It shoots fast and we had lots of fun firing at each other. Also, it comes with the rechargeable battery, which means there’s no need to have a separate purchase for the battery unlike the nemesis.

Love this nerf gun ! It’s real easy to use and easy to reload. Its a super quick shooter. Fun to use. Good for competition. Overall 2 thumbs up.

These are crazy fast on their rate of fire and pack a punch. My 11 year old and I have a blast with this. This fits well in her hands for her size. Wear eye protection.

Found this on sale and just had to get it. Great price and great Nerf gun. Incredibly fast shooting and so much fun. Have gotten people wanting one for themselves!

This Nerf Rival Blaster is worth the money. Excellent feel, size and speed. Delivery was fast too. I recommend it.
