I tried to install this on WIndows 10 using the newest software and drivers from Hauppauge's web site. All I ever got was "Your device is not plugged into the USB 2 port" when I tried to install it. I finally gave up, returned this unit, and bought a copy of FRAPS.

    No 5.1 sound

Video recording works great in 2-channel stereo, but the device cannot capture 5.1 sound. I'm so disappointed. I didn't discover this until it was too late to return. If you don't care about 5.1 sound, it's a great device. I wish Hauppauge was more up front in the advertising copy. I had to find out by searching discussion forums online. It seems the capture chip is the limiting factor, so no firmware updates can fix the issue.

O.K. If you can tolerate glitches

Recordings at 1080p 60fps have a slight but noticeable pause (or skip) every 10 seconds, very similar to low quality Streaming video like HBONow or Showtime. If you can tolerate this, I would say this unit is O.K. But there also seems to be other problems with settings. For example, if I set it to 16 Mbps Maximum Video Quality, it will still only record at 14-15 Mbps -- which is the same as Hauppuage HD PVR 2, which works much better and recommend.
