    brand new, set up exactly as instructed. but running for a full day and the temperature dropped only 3 degrees(from 83 to 80) while on its highest setting. air coming out is not cold, but barely below room temp. I just read that these "newer air cons don't emit the blast of cold air as the old ones but are highly efficient" well it got the first part right, but it is in no way efficient. a box fan does a better job.

      It's important that the included installation kit be used as recommended in the user guide for effective cooling. If the window kit isn't installed, or is installed incorrectly, the air conditioner won't be able to properly cool the room. Installation instructions are included in the user guide.
