Picture is great. I love how thin and light it is. Love the slim border. This TV has so much lag though. It’s the most frustrating TV I’ve ever purchased. Think about selling it all the time since it’s passed the return period. Very glitchy and laggy TV. Bought into the hype surrounding it.

Hisense has made an exceptional tv for the price. It has fald, 1000 nit brightness which is great for Hdr. It has decent local dimming. Action scenes are smooth. The android operating system is not bad. I do have alittle bit of vignetting around the edges. But its not noticable when watching normal content. It does show on white screens. Some tvs might have the vignetting as bad. Bottom line is the picture is great, fun to look at and you wont find better unless you jump 4 to 500 dollars.

The worst television that I have ever purchased. This television has a serious lag period to it. The power button on the remote takes forever to activate. The pre-installed app Netflix doesn't work and Hulu doesn't work good on the television either. I would not recommend this television. Oh and one more thing, some of the HDMI ports do not work.

I'm so happy with this purchase and glad I didn't spend more. Great for movies, streaming, and awsome for games my K/D has even gone up due to the response time. It has great options to allow you to customize more making it easier to get the picture the way you like it. As a happy Sharp Aquas owner for a long time Hisense has taken that format and turned it up to 10 amazing! Check out Quantum Tv on YouTube he helped me alot with research on this tv. Hope you like it to!

I had a low end 65" Vizio that I bought on black Friday 3-4 years ago that quit on me. When that burned out my son & I researched the heck out of what a really decent quality replacement would be.
We finally decided on this Highsense & couldn't be happier with the choice. We bought two of them & they are awesome. Absolutely incredible picture & super sound hooked to my Klipsch soundbar/wireless sub combo.

Clear, crisp and under $1000. it wasn't the biggest TV at Best Buy but it was by far the best value. We shopped around and researched for a month before going with the 65". Love the remote size. Easy to get to Netflix. Didn't get warranty because our credit card automatically includes 2 year warranty on major purchases. Installed wall mount ourselves...saved a few bucks but in many situations I feel the fee to pay for Best Buy to mount this would be well worth it.

Hisense H9F is the best tv of 2019 for the price! I would compare it with Samsung Q6, Sony 850, or Visio P-Q which all cost more money. The android interface moves as quick as you can press the buttons. The color, and brightness are impressive. The sound system is very adequate. Viewing angles are unreal you can be seated on the side of the tv with almost no loss in brightness or clarity.

Very impressed by this tv.
My original plan was to buy a LG or SONY new OLEDs, but US$2.5k is a lot for a tv, so bought this one instead, based on PC Magazine review.
Easy to setup, great looking when turned off, impressive when turned on.
I use it mainly for my ps4, and its image and lag input is amazing, the gaming experience is much more natural.
Highly recommemd.

Even though I am an OLED owner and fan I'm not a pixel peeper. All I want out of a TV is no blooming, light bleed and a decent operating system. For the money the Hisense H9F delivers on two out of those two requirements brilliantly. It's the 3rd area where it falls short, I honestly could not live with the Roku Operating system. It felt shoved into the TV and like it was never part of the experience.
I never felt like I was ever able to really get this TV's picture to set properly and when I did find a setting that I liked there was no apply to all inputs function so I had to change things depending on the input and content I was watching.
4K and 1080p content looked gorgeous, the blacks were deep with normal LCD black crush but it wasn't out of control. I checked movies like Harry Potter, Gravity, Casino, Dark Knight and I did not see any bloom or black bar bleed.
Where the TV really failed was playing upscaled and HDR Content from my 4K Player. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get a decent picture dialed in. I watched a few 4K UHD movies on my Panasonic UB820 where almost everything I've thrown at it usually displays beautifully. On this TV, everything I tried looked really terrible.
Don't get me wrong it's a pretty solid TV and I think 90 percent of people buying this TV will be perfectly happy with it, but I have a perfectly fine B7 OLED so I honestly, so I really wanted something that would "wow" me and I think the Roku and poor HDR really ruined the experience for me and couldn't justify keeping it. If I didn't have the OLED I probably could have lived with it at this price point.

I have had this tv for several weeks. All I can say is "wow!"
The picture is great. I was surprised at how good the off angle viewing is on this tv. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a new tv and when the hisense went on sale for $799, I went for it.
The H9F has a center leg design that is very stable and is perfect for my smaller tv stand.
I would highly recommend this tv to anyone.

Amazing TV. Upgraded from a TCL 55in to this and it did not disappoint. The color and 4k are amazing. If there was one thing that I had to learn the hard way is that Android TV sucks compared to Roku. The lag and glitchiness of it is unbearable. I had to buy a roku stick because I couldnt stand it anymore.

People generally associate Hisense with budget TVs. Decent TVs at affordable prices. This year, they are trying to break free of that "budget" and "cheap" stereotype. They have forayed into super thin TVs, 8K TVs, laser TVs, and even OLED. However, in my opinion, ULED is what most people should be talking about.
Most people are familiar with OLED. They might know it as the best and super expensive technology. It works by achieving blacks by actually turning off pixels, thus you get the darkest blacks and whitest whites. They are not without flaws. It is very expensive and there is the risk of "burn-in" where there is a permanent image retention. ULED instead works by using local dimming technology. Basically the TV panel is divided into zones which can be dimmed and brightened separately from the others. The H9F has 150 dimming zones. How is it in real life?
Pretty freaking good. The blacks are very deep. The whites are very white. The colors are bright and vibrant. The TV reaches a 1000 nits of luminance. In other words, it gets REALLY bright. The color accuracy is also impressive as it has 98% of the DCI-P3 color space recommendations. Images really pop. The contrast ratio is amazing. The local dimming works well. Viewing angles are decent. There are some uniformity issues especially noticeable in the corners. However, this does not take away from the experience when viewing movies. The panel is 120 Hz. Unfortunately, HDMI can only support up to 60 Hz. Still, when viewing with the native apps, the motion handling is amazing. The response time is also great. If you are a gamer, input lag is just 18.7 ms. Smooth. All in all, the picture quality is amazing.
The design is good. Nothing amazing or eye popping about it, but it looks thin and sleek with the nearly no bezels. It will look nice in any home. The build quality is decent. The chassis is mostly plastic with metal here and there. The stand is a single piece in the middle that does a good job supporting the TV. I prefer it to 2 different stands at opposite ends.
In terms of inputs, it comes with 4 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, a digital optical audio out, a 3.5 mm headphone jack (a luxury these days apparently), composite in, a tuner port, and an Ethernet jack. Pretty standard stuff.
Sound quality. Disappointing sound. Little bass with no punch. Mids and trebles are low. Definitely will need a sound bar or speaker system.
OS. So the TV operates on Android TV. If you have an Android device, it can interface with the device. The TV also uses Google Assistant so you can set it up with Google Home or other Google Assistant devices. This TV will integrate nicely into a smart home setting. You can use your Android device as a smart remote which is very convenient. The TV interface is very easy to use and organized. It has basic apps built in such as Netflix and Youtube. You can use the voice control in the included remote to activate Google Assistant in the TV. I will say though that while Android TV is a nice OS, it is a very processor heavy one. The one in the H9F can struggle and stutter sometimes which is noticeable with everyday use. I will say though that it is thankfully ad-free! More and more smart TV's are including ads that are not removable. This may change but it is nice while its there.
Summary:
Pros:
Number 1 has to be the excellent picture quality
Very affordable
Android TV interface is easy to use and can integrate into smart home
Google Assistant
Ad-free
No chance of burn-in
Cons:
Uniformity issues
Sound quality not the best
UI can stutter and be slow
There is something called the law of diminishing marginal returns. It basically means that at some point, putting more in gives you less and less output. This TV sits right at that point. Is this TV the absolute best? Of course not, but you have to ask yourself if paying twice the amount is worth it to get very slight improvements in pictures quality. This TV is not just a good "budget" TV. It is a REALLY good TV.

I was not sure when I was first heard about Hisense but then I learned more and found that it was a great deal. This TV has all of the bells and whistles of similar brands for a lot less money. I am very happy with the selection.
