Incredible value for the money if you want huge TV

Pros: * Really inexpensive 4K TV * HUGE 70" * zero issues with motion blur * Discrete IR for inputs and power, which makes universal remotes like Logitech Harmony Hub work well * HDMI-CEC works properly, so a single remote controlling the TV also easily navigates attached devices (like Amazon 4K Fire TV Stick, PS4, etc.) * Android TV OS is really nice and supports many apps directly through Google Play Store (and even more if you don't mind sideloading) * HDR * Optical output for Dolby Digital and DTS sound Cons: * Needs to be brighter * Doesn't handle reflection well (draw your curtains and turn out some of your lights) * HDR could be better * Could use more storage for apps

I bought this TV on a Black Friday special for $399 and for an entry level 4K Tv, it had an amazingly clear picture. I only had to make a slight change from “Energy Saving” mode to “Standard” mode on the TV which made the picture even clearer. I have been watching NFL football and the picture adapts well to the players motion. Some reviews have complained about a lag in scenes with a lot of movement. The only time I saw a very slight lag was perhaps in a closeup angle scene during a game but this was negligible in standard mode. Setup was easy to follow. The only real issue I have faced is using the USB. I have videos stored on USB and they loaded ok. The problem I faced was when I tried to go back to look at the videos at a later time, I would have to eject and reinsert the USB to view videos. The USB drive was not identified on the input function on the TV unless it was reinserted. I decided just to use the USB port on my DVD player so it is not a major complaint. I was really impressed with how east was was able to sync my Onkyo receiver to the TV though there was still a learning curve. I still have to use separate remotes for the cable box ( I haven’t learned if there is a way out of this yet). But the TV remote handles everything else. If you have a receiver, you will have to read how to configure the ARC system, but once that is done, it works very well. Another nice feature is to be able to use your Goggle photos and sync it to the TV. It is nice being able to view your photos on the TV. All in all, for the price, this is an excellent product. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was due to the USB issue but that is my only complaint.

Great television, great brand. Fell in love with Hisense after getting a 58 inch Hisense, this tv is great quality for the money, absolutely huge, the Android smart tv isn’t as perfectly organized as the Roku version BUT the Roku doesn’t have HBO MAX. Wish the refresh rate was higher than 60hz but for the money you get an absolutely awesome tv. Only wish it also had one more HDMI input, it comes with 3 but the ARC one is used for a Soundbar.

I got this tv on a great deal and didnt know much about Hisense. So, I decided to give it a try and it was the BEST decision! The quality and sounds is amazing! I really enjoy it being an Android TV too, it easy to figure out and can connect to my google to make things even easier. I LOVE the remote, especially the size, making it easier to find! It has made my watching experience better and has mading gaming more enjoyable for me too! I highly recommend this TV and give it a try! Also, fits perfectly on my TV stand.

I purchased this TV (70 inch) from Bestbuy and we absolutely love it! The picture and sound quality is comparable to Samsung and LG which has a more expensive price tag. This TV is easy to navigate and use. I especially like it becasue it is an AndroidTV so I can download many more apps though the Play store and check my email on my TV. I would highly recommend this TV with an inexpensive price tag but with goos quality.

Great tv for a fantastic price. Loving everything about the tv so far. Debated on getting a bigger name, but they were all at least $300 more. Android tv has all of the apps that I could want. I was also able to side load and run apps that I thought would be stuck on my phone. No more need to have a fire stick . The picture is vivid and bright and I can’t wait to watch football in the fall.

Can’t beat the features and size for the price. I have 2 other Hisense branded TVs in my house, and they haven’t let me down. This is the first one with AndroidTV. Not bad at all. I will say that the RokuTV interface seems to be a little snappier on my other Hisense, but at least AndroidTV doesn’t have any ads on the homepage. I placed this in my room and it looks huge. Picture, especially content in HDR, is nice and clear especially if you go in and customize settings to your liking. Sound is good but I connected it to a big Sony speaker via Bluetooth and it rocks. I intend to keep it for a long time. Best of all is the price; won’t break the bank. Buy it!

I’m a fan! I’m a die hard Sony TV guy but couldn’t resist to review what a 70” under $650 could get you. Well... in my humble opinion - it gets you a great TV. You can’t go wrong with this choice. Is it OLED? no but it isn’t a 65” $1900-$2200 either. So cost to what you get ratio is great! You have to change a few settings to get the color to “your personal preference”. Default is good enough but play with the “active contrast” per each “picture setting”. As in; vivid, standard, theater day/night, Dolby Vision etc. Mygoal was to make sure the black was smooth in motion. One easy trick is to YouTube “The Voice” in 4K. As the camera moves around it has lot of black background because of the stage set. Adjust so the black is solid so you don’t see the harsh/jagged grey to black in the motion. Built in sound is good as well. I have an AV system but if I didn’t I wouldn’t be in a rush for an upgrade. Dolby Vision is a plus+. You can see HDR/high contrast scenes/movies like John Wick clearly. Not too dark. Simple put... eye opener type stuff. If you have an xbox test the Dolby Vision with the samples it provides. Remote has a good feel and intuitive. Menu is the same. Operating system is quick. No delays I could point out. I’m buying the 2-year Best Buy warranty. I do that on most TVs so it’s not a knock on HiSense. As you can read. Again I’m a fan! It’s a keeper. I’ll try to add a review update in 6 months. Hope this helps.

I got this during the black friday sale and let me just say, it’s amazing. I have a vizio 70” and in comparison this Tv is BIGGER which i didn’t believe until i looked up the dimensions of both. The remote is the only problem, sometimes it won’t work until i take the battery out and place it back in but other than that, Perfect Tv

Big screen for a not so big price! Are there better TVs? Sure, but for the price it is hard to beat this one and so far this TV hasn't disappointed. AndroidTV is great and It runs pretty well. Could have more butter but very usable and overall a great TV for a great price.

The Highsense tv brand is one of the best kept secrets of tv brands. I bought the 70” for $479 before Xmas and very pleased with it. Colors are vivid and contrast is also very good. One reason I bought it is that it has Dolby Vision which I wanted for my XBOX Series S. Sound is also very good for small to medium rooms. If you are looking to wall mount a TV this tv weighs only 46.1lbs!!! Which is way less than most TVs this size. Even the 75” was only 57lbs! One thing to watch for is screws for the wall mount. They did provide the screws which I found but only after using some others which I had on hand. The screw holes are not standard. Other than that it was easy to mount with some help. The TV looks and works great!

I needed to retire my 60” Samsung LCD TV. This is such an amazing TV however... it did take some work to calibrate it. Out of the box, the picture was alright and the colors were sub-par. After some calibration for the SDR, HDR and Dolby vision, each image looks stunning and gives TV’s 3x it’s cost a pretty good run for their money. Blacks aren’t as deep as I’d like in SDR but in HDR/Dolby vision, the blacks are super deep and no white imbalance what so ever. Overall, I’m so happy with it. Paired with the vizio V SERIES 5.1 soundbar this has really upgraded my living room theater set up. Let’s hope this gorgeous display holds up!

I wanted to upgrade our 55" to a 70" and was trying to choose between this and bigger name brands. My previous 55 was an Atyme and is a great TV so I wanted to give a lesser known brand a chance since I kept reading negative reviews on more popular brands. I ended up experiencing some of the negative feedback on this TV. For one, the smart tv/google is very slow and I have high speed wireless and the router/modem located in the same room. Because of this, I had to buy another Roku to use which works a lot faster and better. One of the bigger concerns I had too was the glare which is a bit of a problem because my living room is really bright. A few times the TV has cut off on it's own and in the beginning many apps like Hulu would stop working or just idle (this was before the Roku). The volume is a bit strange too, at times it's as if it gets louder for a second then goes back to normal and we've tried to change the settings but it still happens. For the price I don't want to complain and say it's a bad set hence the 4 stars. In my case, it's a bit of a you get what you pay for type thing. I'm not unhappy with the Hisense, I just wish I would have done a bit more research or just paid a few more hundred for a set that would've worked better for my place especially with it being placed in a really bright room.

My review after nearly a year of use stands stands at 5 stars. I purchase this 70" 4k display during black Friday 2020 for $399.99 and I have to say I have been thoroughly impressed and satisfied with my purchase. I have this connected to my laptop which supports 4k at 60 hz. I use this as my primary computer monitor and it just blows my mind how well it performs for my daily work load. I am using this with Autodesk Architecture CAD for all my drafting and photo editing needs and I can tell you from over 25 years of experience drafting in CAD starting with Autocad v. 9 in DOS 6.2 on a 14" CRT with only 16 colors in 1988 to TODAY I can't believe how fortunate I am today to be able to do my work on this display, it's been such a pleasure I can't describe. On my playstation 4pro which also runs at 4k 60hz this display is a delight and cinematic experience that we all could only dream of having in our home some years ago at this price point. $399 are you kidding me? Even at it's regular price this is such and excellent buy. I will easily be satisfied with this product for the next 5 years "cross my fingers" It continues to perform as such. Sure you can quibble about such things as the sound which is easily circumvented by any number of methods and you can nitpick color accuracy and deep blacks or super high refresh rates only available on much higher end displays for ALOT more $$$$$ but for what you get here and for my variety of needs this has checked all the boxes for me. Big screen movies, Hi-Def Drafting and Awesome 4k console gaming.

This television is a great value. The picture quality is great and my xbox and PlayStation play beautifully. The only thing missing is the 120Hz. I would've had to shell out a few more hundred for that option. It's great that it is also an android TV with built in chromecast and Google assistant. There is some glare though so place accordingly.
