These are the best quality fans you can find at this price. The cage is not plastic and the fan is weighted. It’s super easy to assemble and it lasts a very long time. I’m happy to have found my second fan after all this time. You decide for yourself if the weight is used and they just added it w new fan parts OR if it’s just like this from the manufacturer/warehouse??? I would think all the pieces would look new considering it’s a brand new fan. The center is wearing away and it’s covered in white gunk. We’ve decided to keep it anyway since the weight is covered by a plastic base piece and in no way affects the functionality of the wonderful fan. So, just keep that in mind when making your purchase.

Great fan. Works great and provides good air. Easy to operate

The fan works just fine but the cord is way too short and the blades seem a bit flimsy. At the lowest setting is quiet enough you would know you have a fan running but not annoying. The higher settings are a bit louder. Assembly is easy and no tools are required. The fan sits well on the tile floor. I do not have carpet so I cannot tell how sturdy it would be on it. The problem is with Best buy. They sent me a USED base that was dirty and had signs of wear and tear. See the attached pictures and draw your own conclusions. The only option was to either take it to the store or send it back. So, for their screw up, I have to go through the hassle of packing it and so on. Obviously, either the quality control is not there or someone at Best Buy is trying to pull a fast one! Caveat Emptor as the Romans were saying! Buyer be aware because you think you order a NEW item and they ship you items with USED parts. Then you have to take it to the store and exchange it. If you are willing to take a chance, go ahead.

We purchased four of these fans to use in our church (which does not have air conditioning). We were looking for fans that were quiet and offered multiple speeds. We've been using them for a month and so far, we're very pleased. They are definitely quieter than other fans we've used and the three speeds offer us useful flexibility. The price was also quite reasonable and these fans were easy to assemble.

IS SO EASY TO PUT TO TOGETHER .. IS A MUST HAVE AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT, AND LETS NOT LEAVE HOW THE AIR FEELS ..... IT BEAT'S THE HEAT ...

Very easy to assemble, easy to use, very quiet, strong blown air, and great air circulation. Got it to boost the air flow of a window AC unit, Cooled the entire room within minutes of placing about a foot and a half in front of AC and turning it on.. Great fan.Great Fan

The Holmes oscillating stand fan is awesome. I like that it is weighted so it will not tilt over also the height is adjustable. A plus is that there are five blades instead of three which circulates air much faster. Only downside is it does not tilt downwards which is not a big deal but would be nice other than that it's keeping my den cool and is very quiet.

No complaints. It does the job. Light weight. Limited but adequate highest speed. One complaint, at lowest speed it make some noise.

Great fan. Easy to assemble. Only down side is having the off/on knob built into the pole making it awkward to turn off/on.

This fan was very easy to put together. It did not take more than ten minutes to construct. The three speeds are all powerful and very quiet. I like the black color and the adjustable pole is very easy to pick whatever height you desire. It is also very light weight but still very sturdy.

Still works the same as day 1! Does everything it is supposed to, great product!

This fan is just what I needed. I have hot flashes at night and wanted something to keep me cooler than a ceiling fan does. It is perfect, has multiple speeds, and a remote control to change the speed without my having to get out of bed. Also oscillated from the remote.

Having owned dozens of fans of various types, I find this this one to be excellent, especially for the price. I also own a smaller Holmes desk fan. Both put out a surprising amount of air on low setting; I've never had to use above medium speed setting on either. This stand fan is easy to assemble and use. I already own two, one of which has been in near constant use during warm weather for the past year, which is why I purchased another recently. (Thanks, Best Buy, for having them in stock - they're getting harder to find!)

Its light but powerful. Been using this for almost 2 months and I have no problem at all. I got it with a lower price since I was in the time frame that it was sale. I do recommend this for room when you needed some boost to the cold environment.

This fan is not just efficient. It’s easy to put together and most importantly it is easy to clean. It does not take much to take it apart and it effectively cools down any space!
