Sleek And Tall, Takes Up No Space At All. Good Fan

Very easily goes together and is designed to disassemble when desired nearly as quickly as it went together.
There are three components to the tower that twist snap together and affix in the same manner into the non weighted base. But the bottom component is the heaviest one as it houses the motor.
The longest section is the middle and the long slender fan is in that section.
The top, shortest piece is also the lightest and it contains the controls on the fan and the status display.
In addition to its onboard controls a very small remote control comes along to control the fan from the comfort of your bed or chair.
It operates at a very low volume at all but the highest fan speed.
It moves a great deal of air and has multiple modes and settings that virtually anybody can find a perfect setting for themselves in many situations no matter the degree of air than needs to be moved.
FEEL THE BREEZE: 5 customized speed settings for your optimal airflow with up to 16.4ft/sec high-speed velocity and 450 CFM
CUSTOM COMFORT: 4 operating modes for various applications, normal, breeze, sleep and power breeze
8 HOUR AUTO SHUT-OFF TIMER: Easily set the length of time your tower fan will run before automatically shutting off
WIDE-ANGLE OSCILLATION - Motorized 80° oscillation offers wide sweeping back and forth movement to cool even larger living areas
QUIET OPERATION: Only 60 decibels on the highest speed setting, equivalent to normal conversation
Also included for seasonal storage or to take along when you want is a nice sectioned storage/carry bag.
This is covered by a three year manufactures warranty.

This Fan Blows Air!

It's getting to that time of the year when it is warming up. I live in the South and it has already hit 85 degrees or higher. This Tower fan has helped cool me off. It has been a great addition to my workroom.
The Setup was Super easy. It came in 4 pieces that attach and snap together. It also comes with a travel bag. The assembly took about 2 minutes. The provided Instructions were easy to understand. You plug the fan in and you're done. Be ready to be blasted with cool air when you do. It comes with a small remote that functions very well. I have never had it not register clicks.
You can adjust speeds based on your liking. If you just want a little cool air leave it on one. If you want more just turn it up. The max settings are 6 if you have the right mode on. You can change different modes as well. If you want the air oscillating that is another great feature provided. That was the preferred method for me. The fan keeps the air in my workspace circulating. It was refreshing since my room can get muggy on Humid days. You have the option of muting the sound as well. That way each time you click a button there is no annoying beep sound. You can also set a timer so it will automatically shut off if desired. This great Tower fan will cool off a decent size room. It will also keep the air circulating giving a more refreshed fluid feeling. Nobody likes being in a hot muggy room!
My only complaint is the way the battery in the remote is changed out. I didn't find it to be the easiest but you not changing the batteries out much. Overall, if you want to stay cool and dry this is a great fan.

The Stack and Connect 45’’ Digital Tower Fan is a versatile and customizable fan. It has a clear digital display that shows the temperature and a remote control that lets you adjust the settings from a distance. It also has a timer that can be set for up to 8 hours. It does ocillate up to 80 degrees and overall provides excellent cooling. I love to be cold while I sleep and I find this fits the bill for me. There is some noise to the fan, but nothing that causes me to lose sleep (and I sleep light). It also comes with a neat travel case that you can use to carry the fan with out if its needed on the go. I do love this addition!
The fan has 4 speeds and comes with a remote for ease of use. There is a compartment in the back of the fan to house the remote, which is nice. No need to worry about losing the remote! Keep in mind, this isn’t going to cool down HUGE rooms, but it more than enough for an average size bedroom / living room.
Overall, I am pleased with this fan and will continue to use it on a daily basis (when needed).

Comes with a bag

First off, I have never had a fan that came with a storage bag, let alone was designed to break down unless it was for cleaning. I found it kind of strange that it came in parts, but makes sense for shipping, but then meant to come back apart for storage. For the most part it is simple to assemble and break back down, but the plastic just feels cheap, like it is going to break after a few times. The weakest part feels like the base which keeps the whole fan balanced in the first place.
Function of the fan is pretty standard for tower fans with 4 speeds plus power boost, oscillation and sleep timer. The LED screen shows status and fades out after a while as it is pretty bright. The strange thing is, looking at the display it almost looks like it was intended to have a 6th speed, but considering what it sounds like in Pb mode, I don’t think it would have been a good idea. What I mean by that sound is it is pretty loud for a fan and very inconsistent. Like my best fan can make some noise, but it sounds like a smooth hum, something to sleep by. This one just sounds rough and don’t even attempt the breeze mode. I have never seen a fan cut off completely to simulate a breeze. Oscillating and varying speed, sure, but to just completely cut off and go back to making the noise. makes it more disturbing than it is relaxing. It does come with a remote, but it is an IR remote. Meaning you have to point it directly at the screen on the fan to make it work.
As mentioned above, disassembling other fans is usually for cleaning; however, I don’t see any way to get inside to the blades of this fan. If it turns out like the other fans in my house that run practically 24/7, dust will build up on the blades after a while, reducing efficiency.
Overall, I don’t think this is a bad fan, but it just feels cheaply made. I personally would not recommend it to a friend as there are others out there of similar function, just they don’t break down and fit in a bag.

The Stack and Connect 45" Digital Tower Fan has more than what I thought I needed in a fan. The “stack and connect” feature really makes assembly time-saving and easy. There is only one screw to put in and it is a thumb-screw so there absolutely no need for tools, which is a plus when it is time to put it away, as well as bring it back out.
The fact that it’s so easy to assemble and disassemble is also a big advantage as it makes winter storage a no-brainer. It even comes with a storage bag to keep it safe from dust and other hazards that come with prolonged storage. I wish all fans where this easy to store. I have had to replace countless fans due to dust and damage that happens while stored in the garage during the colder months. The storage bag has a compartment for each section of the fan along with the manual and it is very sturdy and well-made.
The fan comes with 4 fanning settings, which are Normal, Breeze, and Night, and Power Breeze. Power breeze (Pb) has one speed, which is 5. All other settings go up to a speed of 4.
The beeps the fan makes when switching settings are mutable with the remote controller so no there is need to worry about waking anyone up when changing settings at night.
The fan can be programmed to automatically shut off at the standard intervals of 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours.
There is a handy little slot to store the remote control behind fan so keep it from getting lost. This area is also the handle for moving the fan around.
The fan settings light turns off after half a minute, so there is no constant light emanating from it.
It is also quite a tall fan but takes up very little space around it. It is great for those of us with tall beds because most fans don't reach high enough for me to feel a difference when sleeping.
As for the fan's functionality it works great, all the modes work as expected and better than in most fans I have owned previously. The nigh mode is quiet and subtle but enough to keep air moving in a warm room. The power breeze is great for those hot days when you need air to circulate and cool down the area fast. Breeze mode is also nice because it changes wind strength slightly but at subtle enough rate that it is quite pleasant and mimics outside air.
Overall I am highly pleased with this fan and it has elevated my standards of what to look in tower fans because it included things I did not know I needed.

Great Tower Fan You Can Connect With!

Just in time for summer comes a tower fan from Holmes that can be connected to your wifi and control with your phone or laptop using the Holmes app! It comes in a really sturdy packing box with everything you need to set up. A user guide gets you started, snapping together a few pieces and tightening a few screws is all it takes to set up. It comes with a little remote that has all the same controls as are on the fan. Once I got everything put together I went and downloaded the Holmes app. It's pretty straight-forward in getting the fan connected as long as you know all your router's info and passwords. Once the app locates and links with the fan, you are in business! You can control the fan while at home or remotely. Anything you can do with the remote, you can do with the app. You can also schedule the fan to come on and/or stay on for different times and lengths. Now, the fan itself is a tower-type fan with not a lot if weight and easy to move around. It has a plastic base that keeps everything solid. It's around three feet tall and doesn't need a lot of clearance. The controls are all on top and are easily used. The display is blue in color on a black background and can be dimmed or brightened. It shows all the active status of the fan. Power, speed, mode (normal, breeze, sleep and power breeze) timer and oscillating/wifi button are the controls on top. The fan puts out a solid amount of air at normal, and speeds of 3 or 4 are pretty high for a normal sized room. Higher speeds and power breeze really push out a lot of air, possibly too much! The breeze setting is almost guaranteed to lull you to sleep. The sleep setting is supposed to reduce the noise level but I really didn't hear much difference. If you are looking for a good tower fan that you can now control remotely, you can't go wrong with the Holmes Digital Tower Fan. It is really worth every cent!

Too Cool

The Holmes Stack and Connect Fan is innovation and convenience at its finest. For starters, the box is compact because of its lego-style design. Setup is simply a breeze, no pun intended. I was able to quickly assembly the fan in less than 5 minutes without instructions. Once assembled, I was able to power it on and toggle through the different settings to test it out. Fan noise level is appropriate enough to be enjoyed during warm days. Furthermore, you can silence confirmation beeps make it quiet during use at night. I'm very appreciative of the four strength levels of the fan which is a nice shakeup from the typically three found on most fans. With all that being said, the greatest inclusion of this product is the storage bag. I'm a fan of minimalism. If the fan is not in use then it takes up space in the room. When fall and winter arrives then there will not be much use for the fan. The storage bag makes it easy to place the fan underneath a bed or in a closet allowing you to have more space.
It's hard to find anything to dislike about this fan. The plastic base is a little flimsy, but this fan is meant to be in a stationary position anyway so it doesn't bother me as much. Smart features such as AI assistant compatibility or at least an app to control the fan would be nice. Yet, those things aren't a need. Users will do just fine with the included remote.
Quite simply, the Holmes Stack and Connect Fan leaves little to be desired. I love using it, and I would highly recommend.

Great Fan, Just Wobbles A Bit.

I've been using the Holmes Star Elite stackable digital fan for about a week and I'm overall impressed. However, due to its tall stature it's a little wobbly.
Inside the package there are four pieces to the fan. There was a base stand, the motor, the fan and the controller module. Also a canvas bag that fits all its parts for winter storage. All the modules were easy to assemble. All it took was a little twist and they locked right into place.
The features I like most about the fan is that it comes with a remote control. So I don't have to get up and operate it manually. It has 4 fan speeds and it oscillates about 160-degrees. But there are no up or down adjustments. At its highest setting I can feel the breeze from 12 feet away.
The only downside is that the fan is a bit wobbly. This isn't a major issue, but it's something to keep in mind if you have small children or pets. Every time my big dog ran past it I thought he was going to knock it down.
With all that said, this fan is an overall good value and I would recommend buying it.

Better Options Available for Less Money

ASSEMBLY
This is a unique take on a tower fan. It conveniently comes in 4 sections for easier portability or less space in storage. The 4 sections include: the base, the power supply aka bottom section, fan section, and top section which houses the remote receiver and controls. Assembly is a no-brainer and couldn’t be simpler with the pieces fitting together and turning approximately a quarter turn to lock into position. The 4 sections are not optional. All 4 pieces are required for operation, so you cannot shorten the fan or omit sections to customize the height.
CONTROLS
The Holmes Stack and Connect has all the expected and needed controls. Power, Constant Speed, Breeze, Oscillation, and a Timer function. A simple array of buttons on the top of the fan controls the settings, as does the remote control. The large, easy to read, display indicates all modes and essential functions and thoughtfully turns off after 15 seconds to keep from lighting up your room at night.
USE
This is one of those products that are better in theory than in actual implementation for several reasons.
First. While the fan is touted at being 45” tall, the actual fan itself is only 16” of those 45. I measured it with a tape measure. There is too much wasted and un-utilized space. There should be more actual fan and less plastic used merely to elevate the device.
Second. The overall diffusion of air is quite narrow. The exhaust fins could use some tweaking to make the overall output of air a little wider. While the oscillation function works quite well and has a good sweep of motion, using the fan without the oscillation feature makes for a very narrow column of air.
Third. The fan does not maintain a consistent speed. All my other fans maintain the speed without fault. This fan cannot and does not. Using it on any speed setting other than max results in inconsistent sound and droning. For those that like to sleep with a fan at night, this is extremely frustrating and distracting while trying to sleep. This is not because of the having the breeze function selected either. The fan does not maintain a constant speed and the sound level and noise fluctuate while it runs.
Lastly. While the fan comes with a carrying / storage bag. I cannot see the need or the desire to take the fan apart. One, it is inconvenient and two, the plastic feels quite flimsy and brittle and I don’t think the fan will hold up for more than just a few times of breaking it down and putting it back together without breaking.
At the end of the day, there are far better fans with better features and performance.

Many reasons why I like this fan

I got the Holmes Stack N Connect tower fan and it comes nicely packaged, everything wrapped individually. Included is the fan that is four pieces, the remote, instructions and the bag to store away the fan.
Putting it together was easy, the base clicks to the first piece and screw on the thumbscrew (no tools needed) then mount the other two pieces as well and they will lock onto place, done.
I really like that the fan does not take much space, having this tower fan is awesome since it sits higher and the oscillation makes the air flow much further and wider around the room.
I appreciate how easy is to assemble and take apart and with the included bag I can put it away when not in use without collecting dust.
Using the control is a plus; everything on the fan is included on the remote plus the quiet function.
The fan has multiple speeds from 1 to 4 and modes and they are: Regular; when the fan is just on. Sleep; where the lights turn off while the fan is on. Breeze; the fan will turn on an off by itself. Power Breeze: the fan is at its max speed. Best of all, the fan is quiet and it does not shake or vibrate even when oscillating.
The timer can be set from the fan or the remote, from 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours and then it will turn off.
I also like that it does have a mute button, that way you will not hear the beeping sound when controlling the fan.
Overall we are enjoying this fan, it does not take much space to circulate the air, it is quiet and with the handle on the back top, it is easy to carry around.

This Holmes Star Elite Stack and Connect 45" Digital Tower Fan with remote control keeps the room cool, and does it quietly. It was very easy to put this fan together. It really does stack and is secured to the base with a screw. I move it around from room to room a lot, and have had no trouble at all with the base becoming loose or wobbly. The remote control is a very simple remote, with the functions to power the fan on and off, set the timer, turn the oscillation on or off, set the speed, the mode and mute. The fan has a big digital display screen on the front, and the controls are on the top of the fan. The instructions that came with it are simple and easy to follow too. The battery came pre installed in the remote. I like how the fan circulates the air in the room constantly, especially when the oscillation is turned on. This fan helps me to save electricity by keeping my thermostat on my central air unit at a higher temperature. It helps me to save on my gas bill too, as in the cooler days, I can use it to circulate the warm air in the room. I really like this fan and am getting some good use out of it. I recommend it for anyone that needs a good fan for a medium to large sized room.

A Breeze to Set Up and Use

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
With summer right around the corner, I needed a new tower fan to get some decent airflow in my apartment. I have a fancy Dyson fan in the bedroom, but wanted something a bit simpler for the rest of my apartment. This Holmes "Stack N Connect" tower fan fits the bill perfectly - it is a great value and has a big, digital display that makes it easy to see the fan speed and other settings. Most impressively, it can be easily disassembled into four pieces for easy storage.
===PROS===
- I was expecting the fan to arrive in a tall, narrow box, but it actually comes disassembled in a relatively small package. It's very easy to set up the fan by basically stacking the four pieces of the fan on top of one another. Getting the base plate to click into place was probably the hardest part since you have to line up several different tabs and openings and snake through the power cable. Luckily, the included instructions are easy to follow.
- The fan is 45" tall when assembled and is one of the larger tower fans I've seen. This height allows the fan to push a large amount of air around the room, not just at ground level.
- The screen is large, bright, and easy to read. It only illuminates when you are changing the fan settings/speed. Otherwise, it remains off.
- There is a timer feature to turn the fan off after 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours.
- The included remote is compact and easy to use. There is a convenient slot on the back of the fan to store the remote. You can also control the fan using the buttons on the top.
- There are four fan modes: Normal, Breeze, Sleep, and Power Breeze. I can't quite tell the difference between Normal and Breeze, but Power Breeze basically maxes out the fan's speed and pushes out as much air as possible. Sleep mode seems to lower the power of the fan so it isn't as loud.
- On all modes and speeds, the fan is amazingly quiet, especially compared to my Dyson fan. Unlike the Dyson, there is no high-pitched hissing noise thanks to the large air intake on the back of the fan.
- I was surprised to see the fan come with a storage bag. When disassembled, the bag easily holds all four pieces of the fan so you can store it in a closet or under a bed.
===CONS===
- The instructions don't provide a clear overview of the fan's four modes (Normal/Breeze/Sleep/Power Breeze). You have to just play around with the settings yourself to figure out what each mode does.
- I love the fact the fan can be disassembled for storage and transportation, but the base plate is very hard to twist on and off. I'm worried that I'm going to break one of the locking tabs if I disassemble it too often. The base plate also requires a thumb screw which can easily get lost.
===OVERALL===
This is an excellent tower fan with all the features most people need. There are no gimmicks like Wi-Fi connectivity or a fancy color touchscreen, and that's fine with me. I love the height of the fan, which provides great airflow throughout my apartment. The "stackable" nature of the fan is also great, and it will be nice to disassemble it for storage during cooler months. Recommended!

It had very good review and I was really happy with my old fan Holms fan so decided to purchase it although it is not cheap. But when received this fan, I was so disappointed. It was loud and does not move air compared to its size. Top of the fan was heavy but the bottom was kind of light. It could tipped over easy. I returned it very next day then bought a Dreo tower fan. The Holmes 45'' Digital Stack n Connect Tower Fan is a good oscillating whole room fan. What differentiates this fan from other tower fans is that this one easily and conveniently comes apart into 3 sections plus the base. It then fits perfectly into the supplied storage bag with separate sections for each piece. The storage bag will keep it out of the way and clean during those times when it isn’t needed. Personally, I would prefer a bag that’s slightly padded - this one is not. Perhaps I could wrap the parts in a towel or something to provide some cushioning inside the bag. Whichever way, it is definitely convenient.
The fan is lightweight and with its 4 Speeds and 4 Modes, it is really all I need to keep the air moving. It can also oscillate if I choose. The very small remote is a plus and it seems to have all of the controls as on the control panel itself. The remote conveniently stores away in a slot at the top back side of the fan. The control panel is directly on the top of the fan and the easy to read and conveniently located LED display is located on the top front of the fan. Some tower fans have the LED display directly on top and that always irks me because I can only see it while standing directly over it. I want to see it from across the room so I know what I need to do with the remote to get the changes I desire.
The Holmes 45'' Digital Stack n Connect Tower Fan performs well, as I would expect. At lower speeds, the fan is fairly quiet, which I very much appreciated. I would recommend this to someone in the market for a tower fan that works well and can easily be stowed away when it’s not needed.

Holmes 45" Digital Stack n Connect Tower Fan with ClearRead display was a welcome addition to my den. With spring temperatures rising, it was a great alternative to Air Conditioner use in that space. But this fan does blow but in a good way. The assembly was seamless and effortless and up and going in minutes. That's important because it's designed to be broken down and carried with the included bag, which would be all right, weighing just under 10 lbs. The black color and modern tower design will fit any room design.
I did notice that my TV remote makes it go crazy. That's not normal, I'm sure, but somewhat annoying at first. I mean, it came with literally one twist screw for the base. It also has an included remote that makes it easier to use when sitting on the couch or away from it.
The remote also had a mute button. I am still figuring out what that's for, but it's a nice little everyday fan for the spring and the summer. With five fan speeds, oscillating, and a timer, it's a nice fan for any room.
It will cool you off. And run noticeably quieter than others that I have used.

The Holmes 45'' Digital Stack n Connect Tower Fan is a reliable and functional addition to any room. Its ClearRead display makes it easy to read and adjust settings, while its compact design and easy-to-use controls make it a breeze to use.
With three speed settings and a wide oscillation range, this tower fan is capable of keeping even larger rooms cool and comfortable. Its slim profile and space-saving design make it ideal for smaller spaces as well.
The fan's advanced technology allows for remote control access and auto shut-off options, making it convenient and energy-efficient. The fan also has a sleep mode, which reduces its operating noise level, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
Overall, the Holmes 45'' Digital Stack n Connect Tower Fan is a great investment for those seeking a reliable and effective way to cool their space. Its functionality, ease of use, and advanced features make it a standout among tower fans on the market. I can highly recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a tower fan.
