Light and easy to handle. Only negative is that you need to purchase an extra battery if you have a lot of hard surfaced flooring to clean at once.

This won't replace my broom and it isn't a great tool for edges or corners but this is one of the best floor cleaning devices that I have ever purchased. It picks up all of the dust and hair from our little dogs and wipes away little paw marks an dirty spots. I still have to run a broom down the edges and then wipe the floor and baseboards with a rag but the bulk of the job is very easy with this unit. Just as much as I love how easy it is to pull out and clean up little messes or just give the floor a quick clean, I can't say enough about how easy it is to clean up and put away. There are no sticks to dig out hair, you don't have to run it in your tub to clean out the tracks, there's nowhere for gunk to gather that you can't reach. The roller cover snaps off, you set your roller in the storage slot, where it dries, rinse off the roller cover and rinse out the dirty water catch and set it on the included pan. I just cleaned my living room and hallway in five minutes and clean up took another five minutes. I have owned many floor cleaners that work really well and some clean edges better than this but I have always complained that the testing stops at function because the maintenance and storage is alway a complete pain. I think whoever designed this was forced to clean it up after they used it and they got tired of trying to remember where they left the stick. You won't have a bunch of little gadgets that you must track if you want to get hairballs out. Its straight forward, easy to use, effective and stores so nicely that you don't really have to hide it away. I can't wait until they come out with a vacuum that will steam dirty or high traffic areas as you go. One day, maybe I'll only own two floor cleaners.

Nice concept but severely limited by battery life. Could only get roughly 10-15 minutes. Multiple extra or larger capacity batteries are a must. Cleans relatively well and is easy to setup/use.

The ONEPWR Floormate is a versatile vacuum with good power for wood, tile, and our plush area rugs. Great for stain cleaning on all surfaces. The only things I found lacking are the ability to get under furniture, close to walls, or into any tight places. Highly recommend a 2nd battery to keep charged to avoid having to wait for recharge when power is low. 1 battery ample for quick touchup of our 1600sqft home.

No matter what anyone tells you, you cannot clean tile floors effectively with a swiffer. This is the 4th FloorMate that I have purchased. I like the cordless construction and the self-cleaning feature. However, the filter takes too long to dry after cleaning and the battery life is too short. Other than that It is the best of the models.

PRO: Easy to put together, Easy to return with BB. CONS: Too quirky, too many steps to clean, didn't clean the floors well- seems like the brush doesn't contact the floor enough to truly clean and there's well over an inch between where it stops cleaning and any border. Battery does not last long. The trigger placement is poorly positioned with the on/off button and while trying to clean, I'd accidentally turn it off constantly. Used once and packed right back up to return. Great Idea, Poorly executed by Hoover. Total disappointment.

I like this over a mop and the other types of floor cleaners. Cleans, vacuums and dries at once, also like the expandibility. The 4 star would be the clean up, it can get a little messy but overall a good solution for cleaning kitchen and bathroom floors

I really like that it vacuums and “mops” at the same time. I feel like the roller should be closer to the ground because sometimes it leaves streaks of water and regurgitates dirty water. Nonetheless, it works well and after using it myself for a couple months I bought my mom one as well.

I was tired of having to mop every single day, now with this Floor Cleaner I can have clean floors everyday without having to use a mop, that takes me almost all day to clean the whole house. I would've given a five star, but I gave it four because the battery runs very fast :(

This product has made cleaning my hardwood floors easier than when I cleaned them on my hands and knees. However, my floors don’t look that good when they dry. It should also leave the floors shiny/polished. I will be returning it and I’ll wait for a better product to become available.

I purchased the Hoover FloorMate Jet hard floor cleaner/wet vacuum, and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. I did a lot of research into which hard floor cleaner/ vacuum was best, and this one is far superior to the rest. It has a much longer running battery time it’s easy to clean all parts, it has a dirty water tank and freshwater tank, and as it’s washing the floor it also dries it very well. I have a lot of arthritis in my arms and shoulders, and I can use this Hoover floormate with no problem. If you’re looking for a hard floor cleaner and vacuum this is the one to buy!

Very easy to use Cleans well without the need to sweep before scrubbing. It doesn’t get close to baseboards. Great purchase for a house with all tile floors.

Easy to clean, does a good job on my vinyl floors. Only negative is the battery doesn't last very long, even in econo mode. But it recharges relatively fast.

This machine is a piece of JUNK!! It stays charged only 15 minutes. During that time, you have to empty the dirty water container at least 3 times (holds about a cup) & refill the fresh water once. It's more like a toy than a tool! I accidentally ordered the rechargeable FloorMate in October, 2021. I finally opened today (4-30-22) Sadly, I can't return it. TOTAL WASTE OF $300! It cleans well, if you have a bathroom floor to clean or possibly for cleaning up spills. Rather expensive to clean a bathroom floor or spill though. Thoroughly disappointed! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I love the convenience of being able to mop and vacuum at the same time. The Floormate worked great for both. The battery stayed strong for the 30+ minutes that I was cleaning my house. I have a lot of tile, so I was very pleased. The Floormate was also very easy to clean after I was done. Every thing comes apart and takes about 10 minutes.
