Great open world action and exploration. There are light RPG elements, but nothing as complex as Dark Souls or even the Witcher. Great map and the enemy robots each present their own unique challenge. The graphics are top notch. I initially passed on this game when it was originally released but am glad I finally gave it a shot. The combat is really fluid and the story is unique as well. Highly recommend.

Picked it up cause I kept hearing good things about it. When I heard a sequel was in the works I knew it was time to play. From the first sequence I was hooked. Story is engrossing and game-play is solid with a variety of weapons and combat options. Beautiful open world. Can be a little frustrating when dealing with multiple enemies.

Great game with fun combat. The graphics are great, especially with this game being a couple years old. I did play the game with a ps4 pro and a 4K tv. The complete edition includes dlc, and there is a lot of content. I really enjoyed the story, set in the future with a combination of a beautiful natural scenery and futuristic technology. At $20 it is a great deal as well.

What a great game and a really sweet deal. With this purchase you get the game, DLC, and whatever perks are included with that. It's at a great price and even better for Gamer's Club members. I like a nice looking game but performance outweigh that for me. However, it doesn't mean I would want the game to look mediocre. I give this game top marks across the board: performance, gameplay, and graphics. Who wants a game that looks great but performs horribly with awful gameplay? That is not the case with this game. It's a great story too and it keeps you intrigued. I'm enjoying it very much.

Great open world game with plenty of things to do. Graphics are amazing. Combat is fun and varied. Story is interesting. If you like open world games, dinosaurs, and/or robots, you will love this game. The DLC is also included, which is a very nice bonus.

The game has a large open world, great graphics, and a fairly strong story line that should provide plenty of hours of game play for someone looking for a good grind combined with a good story line. The A.I. can be a bit off, and the controls weren't as smooth for me as some other games. You xan be standing next to an animal or beast and swing right through them. There have been several instances where monsters moved through solid objects, which impacted the enjoyment a bit for me. All in all, a pretty game, lots of hours of game play, and fun. Definitely worth the investment.

One of this generations most solid and fun gaming experiences, hands down. Entirely original in its narrative, the game on the whole feels like a blend of Terminator and Jurassic Park, with gameplay similar to Tomb Raider. That comparison, like most, can be seen in many different lights, but by them I mean that you’ll run around as female protagonist Aloy, fighting off mysterious robotic dinosaurs in the future’s past. The story is solid and engrossing. Gameplay is tight and incredibly fun, with lots of choices at your disposal. This is probably one the most choice-oriented games you’ll play in terms of combat. The world is lush and full, especially with the complete edition that offers the Frozen Wilds expansion (on disc). Highly recommended for all types of gamers, as this is the type of game that has something to offer everyone. It is a lengthy game, even with just the story players are looking at 40-50 hours of solid gameplay.

Horizon Zero Dawn grabbed me from the opening cutscene and I was hooked the second the main theme and title came onscreen. I just knew I was in for something special. If you don't enjoy open world games and Ubisoft-style map markers you might not enjoy this game. But if you don't mind those things then there is a lot for you to sink your teeth into. The world they've built here is very interesting, following the story to its conclusion was a blast. The music is incredible though the combat and stealth tracks can get a little repetitive. The combat is nice and fluid, easy to get used to, GET THE TIME SLOWDOWN WHEN AIMING THE BOW SKILL FIRST! It'll make the combat so much better. The machines must all be seen to be believed, they are stunning. The DLC is quite meaty and for this low a price you're getting a lot of bang for your buck, I'd recommend giving this game your best shot.

This game lived up to the hype. I had been wanting it for a while and it did not disappoint. Story and world are well thought out and put together in a realistic way. Gameplay itself is very responsive and good number of tactical options for solving various quests. Story so far has been very good and well acted. I would recommend this game to all types of gamers. Even my wife has gotten into it.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a good game. It’s not amazing, but it is good. The environments in this game are gorgeous, even on a base PS4. The world itself is the best part of this game. The foes you face are interesting to go against, as you can either fight them, attempt to sneak up on them, or turn them good, depending on if you’ve gotten far enough to do so. The bow combat is great, though the melee combat, while fun, is a bit wonky. This game also had some pretty bad glitches near the end, with textures not loading in and voice lines not working properly. However, it was not a deal breaker, and these problems may not be there at all on PS4 Pro and/or PS5. I’d say the worst part of this game is Aloy herself. She’s not terrible, but she is a pretty boring protagonist. The story, while not amazing, is interesting. Overall, if you like open world games and want one to play that won’t break the bank, Horizon Zero Dawn is a good one. It helps that the Complete Edition comes with the Frozen Wilds DLC.

I bought this game on sale. I really think the game is worth it at this price. The story is amazing. I like the combat and the game looks phenomenal in 4K on PS4 Pro. The addition of the DLC is great. I highly recommend the game.

An absolute huge open world, got me addicted to playing this every day. A very good story line. The combat has a rewarding feeling as you level up and learn. The stuff that kicks your butt early on in the game will get dominated by you after soon time. This game would be worth the new game price of 60$. The complete edition with the frozen wilds is a steel at 20$ Even the seasoned veteran that can take the thunder jaw Dow will find challenges with the fire/ice claws and scorchers in the frozen wilds. The only thing I could find wrong with this game is that the collector in me doesn’t like the red case!

My first game I bought for PS5. 2 years and 350 hours logged in. I'm still having fun.

I've been a very casual gamer for years having struggled with the certain types of games and their game play, this game has me hook line and sinker. I find the controls very easy and straightforward, the game play is excellent and involved, grinding for any reason doesn't seem that bad. The story is great and the visuals are absolutely stunning. The design and concept of the machines and animals and surroundings the main character are involved in are so well thought out! I was even impressed with the general AI of everything! I've played this game consistently for months now, just wandering around the environments are great! I recommend this game to absolutely everyone!

I bought this game along with other ps4 games that were on sale to play over the holidays. I knew very little about the game going into it and had a ton of fun with it as I played. The game is visually amazing and presents an interesting story with fun combat. If you are looking to spend some extra bucks to play Zero Dawn before Forbidden West comes out, buy it. I debated getting the pc version of the game, but decided to go with the original because I wanted the original experience. I'm so excited for Horizon Forbidden West this year.

HZD is a gem. Really unique, cool story, intense combat, and the visuals are incredible, plus this comes with the expansion! If you have a PS4, you really need to play this game!

The moment that I saw and heard about this game I for some reason just knew that I was going to be good. Then I played it and it turned out to be amazing. I played on PS4 Pro, my experience might have been a little better than just the generic PlayStation 4. But if you’re looking for an open world with a good amount of dialogue great story beautiful scenery amazing combat difficulty in quite a few areas and has a new game plus so that you can go to the game again with all the gear and equipment you had before. This is for you. I would highly recommend this to anyone that loves an open world spear and borrow against machine animals game.

One of the best games for PS4. Storyline: 9 Controls: 9 Hours into: 100+ It's open world and you get to fight machines and then harvest their parts to make your gear better.

I am a 35 year oldish gamer who grew up on NES, SNES, N64, Virtual Boy, original Game Boy, and Playstation (I did some Halo but quickly grew out of it). This is by far one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had. Great gameplay, excellent story, beautiful and not too heavy open world (100% was not that time consuming). Yeah, if you look for it there can be some "woke" themes but I never felt like it was shoved in my face. Maybe I was too distracted with handling ROBOT DINOSAURS!

Great game for Playstation; I have it on the Playstation 4 Pro. The HDR looks amazing on my Sony 4k television. Its mechanics are similar to Microsoft's Tomb Raider, but more fluid. Also, being able to choose how you want the story to go is a plus. I recommend.
