I used it on a sunny day using my DSLR shooting video of off road vehicles. The filter made the sky look great and took the excessive reflections off the vehicle body. I do notice a softness when shooting high res stills but with video you really don't see a loss of detail. The improvement in color is well worth it. Don't waste your money purchasing any polarizer cheaper than this one.

Purchased a Hoya NXT 77mm Polarizer filter for my Nikon 70-200 VR from our local BB. Absolutely love how it eliminates water reflection and makes colors pop. Greatly out performs lesser brands. I travel and shoot boat racing events on lakes in the region. Well worth the investment! Highly recommend Hoya.

The Best Buy Signture Brand (Insignia) scratches up very easy and not worth the price. Yes. They are not as expensive as Hoya but you will ended up paying more after then if you would've just bought another brand the first time.
The NXT Filter is Hoya's low end brand but it does have a better glass then Insignia. Wish Best Buy would carry more quality brands like Stingray, Tiff or B+W inside their stores.

I picked this up to assist in an outdoor senior portrait shoot this fall. It does a nice job. I don't have a lot of experience with CPFs so I can't tell you if this is a great bargain but it seem to get the job done and was priced quite a bit less than others I saw online. I was happy with how my images turned out so that good enough for me at this point.

Works well. Rotates in order to capture the best effects. Note that if you have a UV filter that also rotates you will need to hold it stationary while rotating the polarized filter.

Love this filter because it minimizes the glare and it serves as a protection for the actual lens in case it sustains damage. I much rather buy a new lens filter than a new lens.

I use this Polarizer for my 24 - 70mm Canon Lens. I can shoot anytime, including the middle of the day! I can see through the surface of the water also.

I decided to buy this over the B + W filters that I usually use and works great and saved a good amount of money but didn't want to go cheap so this was a great alternative.

Every pro knows that the camera can only take pictures as good as the lens allows, and this filter was built for the professional in mind. Don't compromise on a good lens by saving money on an inexpensive filter. You will regret it. This one performs well without any loss of quality from your shots.

At over a $100 you can’t really call this a “cheap” option, but it’s significantly cheaper than the Peter Mckinnon’s polarizer...the price though is the only thing that that’s cheap about this filter. Make sure you are at 90* from the sun when you are using the filter or you won’t notice the full effect of any polarizer.
