I purchased the "HP - 17.3" HD+ Laptop - AMD Ryzen 3 7320U - 8GB Memory - 256GB SSD - Natural Silver" to replace an older laptop. I have always been very happy with HP products and this laptop is no different. Set up was very easy. I opted out of Windows 11 in S mode with a few clicks and converted it to Windows 11 Home (see instructions on Microsoft.com). I then installed Malwarebytes and Norton software and had no issues. The 17 inch screen is easy on my eyes. The speakers provide great sound. The AMD Ryzen is comparable to Intel. For the Black Friday price of $319.99, I am absolutely thrilled with this laptop.

I had the older model of this one, probably about 6-7 years old. This one had a much larger screen, easier key touch and all directions were very easy to follow once it was turned on and ready to personalize.

I wanted an inexpensive laptop with some decent hardware strictly for the purpose of getting to know Windows 11. I would love to install it on my home PC (Dell XPS 8900); however, the processor fails the compatibility check. Every other check is green. I hope Microsoft relaxes this a bit down the road. Anyway, this laptop has decent specs, a large screen, and is really fast. It is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended!

Nice laptop for the price, got it for around 350.00 If you can buy it on sale, even better. After cleaning out all the bloatware, its a nice laptop. Quick, nice battery life and keyboard is decent. If I have to give some cons is the position of the power button ram memory is no upgrade-able(knew this going in). Also it comes with windows S mode on but its easy to take off.

Context: I have been a software for 40years and have about 10 laptops that I have accumulated over the years. I bought this one because of the larger screen. Specs: I find 8GB memory, 256 storage to be the bare minimum for the modern Windows world. As for the processor I recently bought a 2in1 with a slower processor and it does fine but I would recommend an Intel i3 or AMD 3 like this one has. Performance: I'm not really doing much on this machine locally as I'm connecting to a work computer and all of my work is done remotely not locally on this machine. Quality: Not HP's top of the line business laptop but I find it to be of sufficient quality. The screen is exactly what I wanted. I have 1 27" monitor connect thru HDMI and a second 27" monitor connected to a USB port using a USB to HDMI adapter. I also have a USB hub to give me extra USB ports. I also use external speakers and an external microphone. Problems: - I got a blue screen once briefly that let me know it was rebooting because of some problem. Never saw that before on any Windows 10 or 11 machine. - Today it just froze. Wouldn't do anything so I had to push the power button to turn it off then back on. Been fine ever since. Hoping neither one of these will happen again as I use this machine 8 hrs a day 5 days a week while I work. Summary: I got this machine on sale for $299 and would recommend for that price. If you want an average laptop with a big screen from a top manufacturer this could be for you. If you are a gamer you definitely will want more memory and a faster processor.

This is a very good laptop. It lacks some of those little things that would make it a great laptop. For instance, there's no way to set 'Caps Lock' to stay on nor is there a light that lets you know if the 'Caps Lock' is on or off. However, the screen is a really good size and it is extremely easy to use. When I consider the price, this laptop was an exceptional deal!!

I bought this laptop because my old HP laptop had hard ware issues. I have low vision and this laptop with a 17.3" screen is fabulous for me. This is a laptop for people who need to work on documents, send emails and do ordinary computer work. I am not a gamer so I cannot speak to that. It was well worth the money, which was less than $400 since I got it on sale. This 70+ year old non-tech person loves it.

Great performance for the price. Migrating the setup from my old HP laptop took all of 4 minutes. The only issue is the display, it is quite bright and not as sharp as my 10-year-old HP 17.3 laptop. One more USB 3 port would be nice. Windows 11 found my printer/scanner quickly and installed working drivers. At $299 this is a no-brainer for home office and writing/ publishing.

The laptop is probably the biggest size I’ve bought yet to date. It runs smooth for the cost, easy to set up, and connected to everything I needed without an issue. Will see how durable it is before crashing, most of my laptops only last 2 years before the updates give the blue screen of death so hopefully this holds up!

I’ve been using the HP 17.3" HD+ Laptop since November '23, and it’s been a solid performer for my daily remote working from home tasks. The AMD Ryzen 3 7320U processor coupled with 8GB of memory handles my multitasking needs effortlessly. The 256GB SSD is a welcome feature, ensuring quick access to my files and a speedy system boot-up. The expansive HD+ screen is great for when I’m working on documents, data-heavy excel worksheets or indulging in some light gaming. It’s also been a reliable companion for streaming my favorite shows, thanks to the vibrant display. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the sound quality. While it’s adequate for most tasks, an external speaker or headphones can enhance the audio experience during movie nights. Overall, this HP laptop gets the job done with its combination of a large screen, capable processing power, and ample storage. It’s a practical choice for both work and leisure.

This laptop is huge and I love it. It's perfect for college courses, and its so much easier to type on than the small one I was using before. It has good picture quality and the speed is phenomenal. I haven't had it freeze once despite having a million things open.

I know the brand and I like the layout, the big screen is a joy for work and everything else - the price at Best Buy was a lovely surprise, and being a customer with a "plan" means I get help whenever I need it from people who really know their stuff, and who really want to help. Win - Win - Win.
