Customers commend the 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor for its large screen size, ease of use, and excellent quality, frequently praising its design and resolution. While some wish for built-in speakers and a higher refresh rate, many appreciate the monitor's lightweight design and the lack of eye strain. A few users noted the absence of a VESA mount and limitations with the stand's adjustability.

Super clean light screen. The 27 " is used at work but I could totally see some light gaming being done with the beautiful colors this display has.
Two HDMI and VGA ports would work in any office environment without issues.

Great for Work, But Not the best for Gaming

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic my son has not been able to attend Kindergarten in person. Instead, his school provided him with a Chromebook and, for nearly an entire year, he has been participating in Remote Learning. We are lucky to be in a school district that was able to provide him with a computer, but the screen is so small that it is incredibly difficult to help him with his school work while standing over his shoulder. Plus, such a small screen does a poor job at displaying each of his classmate’s video feeds. When his very first eye test showed that he needed glasses, we decided he needed a larger monitor.
This HP Monitor has been quite a refreshing upgrade. The 27 inch size is perfect. Not only does he have more real estate for his school work, but he can now actually see each of his classmates in greater detail. The monitor is incredibly lightweight, easy to set up, has clips on the back to organize the cables, and it easily tilts forwards/backwards - although unfortunately, there are no height adjustment options. I also appreciate that the front of the monitor has an small icon that shows where the power button is. (All of our other monitors seem to hide the menu buttons which can lead to frustration.)
The screen appears to have almost no bezel at all - although when the monitor is turned on, there is about ¼” around the edge that does not display an image. Also curious is that the Blue Light Filter is always on. We do like that the filter should be better on our son’s eyes, but I would imagine that many users would like the ability to turn off the feature so that images can be more vivid for content such as games, or movies. Apparently almost all new monitors have a blue light filter option somewhere in their menus (usually “night” or “low light” settings). Even with the blue light filter always on, the screen's color appears accurate (although I have intentionally avoided comparing it to another monitor as blue light filters tend to make images appear slightly more yellow).
Because the blue light filter cannot be turned off, because the resolution is only 1920 x 1080, and because the refresh rate maxes out at 70 fps - I would not suggest this monitor for PC gaming….even though it does include AMD FreeSync (which is a technology that reduces misalignment between the screen's refresh rate and the frame rate of the source content being received by the Monitor.) HP claims that the color produced is accurate, but with the blue light filter this simply cannot be the case. Also, gaming now is commonly 4K at 120 fps which is beyond this monitor’s capabilities.
For anyone now working from home, this monitor is a fantastic option. It is large enough that it should be able to be used as a single large monitor. But, be aware that if it is used in a dual monitor set-up, the image may look different if paired with a different monitor model (as again, the blue light filter cannot be turned off).

I am so upset right now!! I purchased this monitor the beginning of December2022, didn’t use it until February of this year 2023 for about a month and a 1/2 and now it half works! Who has money to throw away? Best Buy DID NOT offer a solution if the product is not under a protection plan! Who expects a monitor to go out in less than 6 months? I have a dell monitor that I have for over 10 years!
Do NOT PURCHASE THIS DeVICe! At this point I’m about to give up on Best Buy as well! I’m so unhappy with the quality all around!

## Setup and Design
It's important to note that this monitor is not meant for wall mounting and has no VESA-compatible mount points on the back. Therefore, plan on using this monitor with its included base.
The monitor has a minimal design with very thin bezels along the top and sides (the bottom bezel is a little larger). The buttons for power and navigating the on-screen menus are located on the bottom of the monitor towards the right. The setup menus contain options for adjusting FreeSync, the response rate, and image sharpening, as well as the normal brightness, contrast, etc options you will find on most monitors.
The monitor has 2 HDMI ports and 1 VGA port for older systems. This monitor is lacking a headphone jack, so you will not be able to output sound via the HDMI connection to the monitor.
## Performance
The monitor has a 1920 x 1080 (1080p) resolution, so if you already have a 1080p monitor, you won't be able to "fit" more on the screen just because this monitor is larger. However, if you're squinting at your current 1080p monitor and you would like the onscreen elements to be larger, the 27" size of this monitor can definitely help.
The 5ms response rate and FreeSync technology also make this monitor good for gaming. I tested out the monitor while playing a round of Fortnite and gameplay looked great on this screen.
The LED backlight and IPS display provides a consistent viewing experience across the display, even if you're viewing the monitor from an angle or if you're looking up at the monitor while slouched in your chair. The monitor has a matte finish which helps reduce glare and reflections while still maintaining a surprisingly sharp image.
This monitor includes an always-on blue light filter that reduces the amount of blue light you see, which can help reduce eye strain and help you relax more in the evening. However, even with this filter in place, I didn't find the image to be overly "warm" like a phone appears when its "Night Shift" mode is active. Colors still look great on this monitor, so you likely won't notice that the blue light filter is even there.
## Summary
The HP M27f monitor works great for both gaming and working-from-home purposes. The matte display with blue light filter should help those that suffer with eye strain from long hours in front of a computer. However, you likely won't be able to mount this monitor on a wall mount or other adjustable desk mount as there are no VESA mount points on the back of this monitor.

The HP 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor (2 x HDMI, VGA) in Silver and Black is a solid choice for both work and entertainment. Here's a review of this monitor:
Design: The combination of silver and black in the design gives it a modern and stylish look that will complement most setups. The 27-inch screen size offers a comfortable viewing experience.
Display Quality: The IPS panel delivers vibrant and accurate colors, along with wide viewing angles. Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution provides sharp images and crisp text.
Performance: The inclusion of FreeSync technology is a plus for gamers, as it helps reduce screen tearing and stuttering, resulting in smoother gameplay. It's not the best choice for competitive gaming due to its 60Hz refresh rate, but it's suitable for casual gamers.
Connectivity: With two HDMI ports and a VGA port, you have decent connectivity options to connect multiple devices like a PC, gaming console, or even a laptop.
Adjustability: This monitor offers limited adjustability with tilt functionality. It lacks height adjustment or swivel, which might be a drawback for some users.
Price: It often falls in the mid-range price category, making it an affordable option for those looking for a larger screen without breaking the bank.
Overall, the HP 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor is a good choice for general use, productivity tasks, and casual gaming. Its stylish design and reasonable price make it an attractive option for many users, although it may not satisfy the needs of competitive gamers or those who require extensive ergonomic adjustments.

HP Eye Ease!!!

Just like the title says this monitor is truly easy on the eyes even after staring it all day. Pretty much everyone uses a computer everyday for one thing or another and most people are on them all day which puts a strain on your eyes and especially with me, I used to get headaches from staring at the monitor all day long. I would use a filter to help with the eye strain and my headaches, but those screen filters are cumbersome to work and the screen just looks odd. This monitor makes everything an ease. So, lets go over some of the features and Pros and Cons of this HP IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor.
Setup
This monitor is pretty much ready to go right out of the box. The setup requires no tools and there is one screw on the base that you need to tighten in order to put the monitor together. The monitor has two HDMI ports and 1 VGA port.
Features-
HP Eye Ease - HP Eye Ease technology keeps your eyes comfortable with an always-on blue light filter.
Accurate Colors – Even with the always on blue light filter there is barely any loss in colors.
Full HD 1080p Display
Wire management System
Pros-
Extremely light weight
HDMI ports
AMD Free sync
Size
Cons-
Lack of DisplayPort input
Overall, this is not a bad monitor at all. Its ease of use and Eye Ease technology makes this the perfect monitor for your everyday and office use. The always on blue light definitely cuts down on eye strain and headaches for me. Combination of size, FHD display and Eye Ease technology makes this monitor a good buy.

My experience with the HP 27" Monitor has been a game-changer in terms of productivity and visual comfort. The size is perfect for multitasking, allowing me to have multiple windows open simultaneously without feeling cramped. The full HD resolution provides crisp and clear images, which is essential for my daily tasks that involve a lot of reading and detailed graphics work.
The color accuracy and brightness of the monitor are impressive, making it suitable for both professional and personal use, such as photo editing or watching videos. The anti-glare screen is a bonus, reducing eye strain during long work sessions.
Its sleek design and slim profile blend well with my workspace, and the adjustable stand has been a great feature, letting me find the perfect viewing angle for comfort and ergonomics. The easy setup and compatibility with my HP laptop via HDMI and DisplayPort have been seamless, enhancing my overall workflow efficiency.

Saw it at $150 on a deal so I thought I should get it. I have previously used a similar HP model for a work-from-home setup and that screen was amazing! However, this one appears to have a really cheap build quality. Also, I didn't notice it initially but after working in a darker room, I noticed the screen's imperfections as can been seen in the lower edge of the screen in the picture attached (it isn't as bad as my phone's camera is showing but is very noticeable and definitely something you don't expect from any screen no matter how cheap). I'm past its return date so I'm now looking to sell it.

I recently pick up this 27" IPS LED FHD Monitor to make it easier on my eyes. First off this monitor has a very sleek form factor and doesn't take up too much room on the desk .
It is essentially plug and play and allows you to connect to your computer and you're off and running. There are two HDMI connections and a standard VGA video input.. There is a cable management system in the back that hides the cables from sight. The screen size is not overwhelming and with the larger screen I can have two windows open at the same time and they display fine. Color and picture quality are excellent, displaying in full HD.
This is a great monitor for anyone looking for a larger screen.

The HP 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor is an excellent choice for businesses looking for a reliable and functional monitor for their employees to use at their workstations. The sleek silver and black design is both stylish and professional-looking, making it a great addition to any office.
The monitor itself is high-quality, with an IPS LED display that offers sharp and clear images, making it easy to read text and view graphics. It also includes multiple connectivity options, with two HDMI ports and a VGA port, allowing for easy setup with a variety of devices.
One of the standout features of this monitor is the FreeSync technology, which helps to reduce screen tearing and stuttering, providing a smoother and more immersive viewing experience. This is particularly useful for employees who spend long hours working on the computer, as it can help to reduce eye strain and fatigue.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the HP 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor for any business looking for a reliable and functional monitor for their employees. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of some higher-end monitors, it provides solid performance at a reasonable price point, making it a great value for any business looking to upgrade their workstations.
