This is my first ultrawide monitor and it is wonderful to look at and play games with, obviously some games do not support it very well without mods, but most of them are games from early 2000s. Games still look good without losing a lot of performance like when using a 4k monitor I used to have, not to mention the high refresh rate makes things super smooth, cannot live without high refresh rate now lol.

Monitor started off okay, but brightness wasn’t as high as claimed to be. There were a few Dead pixels, along with software issues kind of brought this down for me. Software issues I’ve had included settings not taking effect, resetting all settings if they do within a few minutes, or the monitor factory resetting itself every time I turned off my computer and came back to it. Colors are average, resolution is great and refresh rate along with response time were great too.

This is an amazing monitor for the price. It has 165 Hz refresh rate, flat screen with minimal backlight bleed. No unnecessary gaming stuff like fancy RGB colors etc. It is an IPS panel with vivid and bright color. The stand has a smaller footprint so it doesn’t take up a ton of space on your desk. I am not sure why this monitor has not been reviewed more. For the price it seems to check all the boxes. The only thing I feel that is a negative is the contrast as it’s an IPS monitor is probably not as good as a VA panel. It was also on sale on the HP website and Best Buy price match for me. If you want a no-frills hi refresh rate IPS monitor and a flat format you really can’t do better than this monitor. I have been playing call of duty, battlefield, and other titles and they all look great and the refresh rate and free sink works great with my Nvidia graphics card.

Have been using this monitor for now a year, and has been the greatest commodity I've ever bought, no burning, no dead leds, no dead zones. Great for framing and Development.

As noted in the previous review, this is a very solid monitor. It was in great condition out of box, no crazy over the top styling which I appreciate and just one simple light to identify if the monitor is on/off. Stand isn't too big on the desk. Doesn't rotate but can raise & lower, and also tilt a bit. Very mild back light glow around one or two edges (this is common for all IPS monitors, I'd say this is one of the better ones for how little glow there is). Comes with power cable (power brick built into monitor so just a standard computer power cable which is fantastic) and a display port cable. If you're like me and want an ultrawide and prefer IPS, this is worth checking out. You get basically everything the 800+ IPS ultrawides have for almost half the price, and the only thing you lose is the curve (this screen is completely flat). Bezels are pretty small too which I appreciate. The omen gaming hub software (download from windows store) allows you to change some of the monitor pre-sets right from the computer without using the on screen menu & buttons.

I got really lucky with the pricing with this. Got it open box excellent and backlight bleed isnt that bad as I thought. Everything looks great on the UW. High resolution and high refresh rate at 300$ is amazing. Not sure if id bite if it was higher priced tho. Some downsides I can think of are just the HP bloatware that auto installed for some reason and the HDR is a bit confusing. Not sure if this is the right monitor to try HDR. Occasionally not sure why but it flashes white when you try to turn off the display but thats not really a concern of mine at all. The buttons being on the right side is kind of annoying but not a deal breaker. Kinda surprised that theres a lot of UW support. Reddit has lots of guides you can look up.

I took a shot in the dark buying this as I could not find any actual review online for it. In my opinion it is the best option for high refresh ultrawide IPS displays- in this price range. Any other display is orders of magnitude more expensive. It gets plenty bright 400nits is about where most displays are and IPS over VA definitely has its advantages. One star off for connectivity options as there is no USB Hub which the Acer monitor (model XR341CK) I previously tried had- though it was much worse in many other ways. G-Sync does work with my 3070 flawlessly, HDR in Windows 11 looks awesome. Motion is fantastic, the refresh rate is perfect, this monitor seriously blew me away. You do not need to use the annoying OSD buttons on back of the monitor, you can download "HP Omen Gaming Hub" and control the monitor thru Windows which I love. I imagine to keep the price point down things like RGB, swiveling stand, and USB hub were left out- and honestly I'm ok with that.

Fantastic value for the price! Bought this alongside a few other ultra wides including the Dell 34 SD and Odyssey G9 and was most pleased with this. Does it have good hdr? No. But it gets bright enough and is very smooth with great response times/little to no visible overshoot. Be aware, you can get full 10bit color up to 144hz, but at 165 it is 8bit. I also noticed that the freesync capabilities are better below 144 HZ and not so great above it.

This monitor meets all the specifications desired, good resolution, high refresh rate, IPS panel, decent brightness. At first, I was skeptical, given the low price for the specifications. After owning for a few months I can confidently say it was a good buy. The only drawback to the monitor is HDR content. There aren’t enough backlighting zones to really create great HDR highlights and it was causing weird compatibility issues on Windows 11 with flickering images. However, if you’re on the fence for an inexpensive ultra-wide monitor, this is what I would recommend instantly!

3060ti drives it just fine. Pair with DisplayFusion for an even better experience. My monitor had very little backlight bleed, so that was a nice surprise. Packaging was great, stand was easy to attach (probably not mounting this one). I thought going from curved to flat would be difficult but it really hasn't been much of a difference to me. Incredible for FPS and Racing enthusiasts. And there's practically a community made Widescreen fix for just about every other game too.

Been a great monitor with really no issues. Great connectivity and been easy on the eyes. Ive been moving to 1440P (QHD) for all my screens (home, work, etc...) and the fast refresh rate is great, even for non-gaming tasks. Hook this up with a displayport cable and really let the monitor to the work. Colors are pretty good thanks to the IPS display. Highly Recommend.
