I worked as a Regional Sales Manager and the company provided HP, commercial grade lap tops. When I left that position I was faced with purchasing a new computer for my home office. I had purchased an HP docking station so after conducting online research, I decided to take my chance with ordering a "refurbished" HP Elitebook from Best Buy. I could have saved some money ordering from a strictly "Online" company but I have become accustomed to the great customer service at Best Buy so I knew that if had any issues I could run up to my neighborhood store for assistance. Also, it comes with a one year, Best Buy warranty. When I unboxed my lap top I was very pleased with the physical condition of the unit. With refurbished items you never know what you'll get but this unit was in great shape. I've had it for several months now and it works like a champ. I went with a unit with a larger screen, bigger hard drive and more RAM than what my old company had provided, but I verified that this unit was compatible with my docking station. It's great. I seat it into the docking station and can use my wireless keyboard, mouse and 27" monitor at home and when I need to go on the move, I pop it out and into the roller bag it goes. Since it's a commercial unit it's heavier than newer lap tops at 6lbs, but the trade off of using my docking station makes it well worth it. Additionally, the commercial grade units seem to be made for more wear and tear, thus the additional weight. It also has a built in DVDR which a lot of newer units do not. Screen resolution is great on the 15.6" LED. I'm also used to and comfortable with the Windows 7 Professional that was pre-loaded. I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend Best Buy's refurbished products to anyone.

I7 laptop as promised. Snappy performance and great peripheral hookups. Only downside is its heavy. Like heavy as in old desktop replacement heavy. Reminds me of the old 5 or 6 lb early 2k laptops. But My frame of reference is a Retina MacBook Pro - that's my daily use laptop. Just make sure you plan appropriately and you won't be disappointed.

Great for video streaming and basic use....watching movies and using Microsoft office....only downside I needed to buy a new battery since it didn't have 1...so the price ended up being higher than anticipated

Was looking for a business computer for my son to use in college. The HP had the storage and memory along with the speed that he needed. Good value.

This laptop has great specs, however it is really large and heavy.

I love this laptop. Its powerful enough for my needs, reliable and easy to navigate. There are no unpleasant surprises with this machine and I would buy it again.

This is my first experience purchasing a refurbished laptop. No point in regretting at this late stage but do wish I had bought new instead.

I bought a new Samsung table to replace another that will not hold a charge

Didn't have the driver for the touchpad installed and Windows program updates are problematic. Computer a little dirty, but does have the hardware specs listed.
