Absolutely love this Tower, I went from Windows 7 to 11 with this purchase, very easy to set up, and easier to learn all the new stuff. Runs well and is silent which is amazing, also has plenty of ports. Enjoying it very much. I would definitely recommend this tower.

I love it. It is fast and simple. The 1TB SSD is a great addition and I was looking for that plus 16 GB ram. I added a WD Red Plus 4 TB drive (easy install) for more room for pictures, etc. Fast, reliable and easily accessible hardware!

My new HP Envy desktop w/ Intel Core i7 is very quick to respond to commands. When using my Pinnacle Studio 24 Ultimate program which I use to edit and create video with audio, it runs smoothly without stalling, Microsoft 365 runs without any hesitation as do additional applications. I quite pleased with my purchase.

Very nice and I'm getting used to Windows 11. I had an HP-ENVY Desktop-Intel Core I5 which lasted me eight years and gave me great service. I have no doubt this computer will also be an outstanding investment.

I really wish I could give this desktop 5 stars. I chose a desktop after my 18 month old HP Envy laptop motherboard crashed. Thought it may have been a lemon. Now I'm wondering if HP is simply not that great of a brand anymore. I'm not a stranger to desktop pc's and this has to be the worst as far as getting it to the start screen. Bloatware??? OMG! I tried bypassing it but Microsoft has too many restrictions in place which won't allow you to on Windows 11. I'm no techy so I had to go through all the extra bloatware even though I don't use or want it. I've now had this HP Envy Desktop for about 6 weeks. It's ridiculous how long it takes to get to the start screen when waking it up. I started restarting it weekly or logging off if I'll be away for a few days. Hasn't changed it's performance. I'll probably take advantage of the Geek Squad warranty and see if they can do anything about it. Just a pain I'd prefer not to deal with but I don't feel like I have a choice if I want to enjoy using it.

Good value...everything you need in a computer if you are not a hard-core gamer and can get by without a built-in optical drive. If you really need a DVD or CD drive, buy and external one for $25 or so, and plug it in through one of the many USB ports. I was a little concerned about the lack of a hard-core graphics card, but I have no trouble driving two 1920x1200 monitors...just be aware that it comes with just two video ports: a VGI port (wow, that's 25 years old) and an HDMI port. If you want to get more fancy with your monitor setup, you'll need a dedicated graphics card. Best Buy had this on sale for $860, which I felt was a good deal for a name-brand PC with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB solid-state hard drive. HP doesn't come with a lot of bloatware, and I was able to ditch the MacAfee because I already had a subscription to Norton 360. Norton 360 isn't perfect, but it meets my needs. The keyboard and mouse are very pedestrian, so you might want to upgrade those. But, for the money, this was a good deal.

This computer is very fast. I was looking for a computer that would help me with the basics like emails, internet browsing, and creating correspondences. I was also looking for a computer that would help me in editing sound files. I was not looking for a gaming system that needs a separate GRU.I did not want to pay for things I would not need. This computer seems to fit the bill. It has plenty of SSD space and the RAM is sufficient, although I upgraded the system to 32 Gigs. I probably do not need the SSD space nor the extra RAM, but I wanted to help keep this computer capable of processing new applications and functions in the future. I’ve been around long enough to know that the need for additional drive and ram space always increase. I did not need a big monitor so I was able to purchase a 22 inch LG PC monitor that does the job and fits on my desk without taking up a lot of space. I cannot comment on the keyboard. In the past I had purchased a Logitech k750 keyboard, so I had that setup the first day. I also want to thank the Geek Squad for their assistance in setting up the computer and transferring my files from my old computer. Anyone who does not subscribe to Bestbuy’s Total tech service, needs to rethink their decision. In summary, I wanted to put my computer together with a powerful CPU with enough RAM and SSD space. I wanted to pick out my own monitor. Also I did not want to pay for extra features that I would not use. This is one great computer so far after my first week.

    Quiet workhorse

Bought it yesterday, loaded up all the software programs without an issues. I was ready to work on Sunday when i bought the thing. It has one onboard hdmi and 4usb-a on the back of the box. The 16gig of ram is almost enough, when i ran an rstudio with a hefty script and youtube video i was around 60% to mid 70%s on the ram capacity. The box is silent while running, so i can work in my office nextdoor to my son while he is sleeping. Only drawback i have seen is there is no speaker, and i chose to run a usb-c to hdmi adaptor to run multiple screens(max(3)). The keyboard and mouse are both wireless, which is awesome. The keyboard buttons feel like a laptop button whem you push on them. When the warranty runs out i'm gonna throw in a nice gpu and some more ram. My test on the machine said it would support 64gb of ddr4 ram so it has some options. Looks like it has 3 pic slots open, from the backside.

I have had a laptop as my main computer for years. But my old one (7+ years old) was getting very slow. I have a Chromebook that I can carry from place to place in the house, so I thought I did not need another laptop. This desktop is great. I did some research before I bought it and it has everything that I need. It's speedy, has enough storage, and it's at a very affordable price. I've been using it for several months now and I really like it!

The HP - Envy Desktop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD - is a great computer, is fast, with a lot of memory and a faster heavy disk space. We have four and I purchased another one for my marketing department.

I have been using this connected to my "dumb" TV. It is overkill for this use, but works exceptually well! Very fast! This particular model lacks an advanced video card for 3D gaming, but performs great for everything else. If you're not a 3D gamer, I think this is an excellent choice for a great price.

    Eight Second full Bootup!

For business professional use; this thing rocks! Eight second full bootup is incredible, (perhaps the SSD?). Going from a painfully slow 5-y.o. unit, this thing is incredible; When MS Office went cloud-based, it would take a full minute to open a file; not with this unit, back to 3-seconds to open an Excel sheet! My usage is all things MS Office, Internet, virtual meetings, and my old monitors never had this dynamic of a display, Whisper quiet for sure. Windows 11 took a few days to get used to but now its 2nd nature. Cons: To be nit-picky, I agree that the power button is recessed a bit too much, but I can blindly reach down feel for the USB ports and go up from there to turn on without looking. I also wish it had another HDMI port. Overall very happy with the value, I was comparing with a 'fruit-named' brand that would have been nearly twice the cost. I'm certain I made the right choice because this was a seamless unplug the old, re-plug the new; Ready!

This desktop unit was very easy to set up, even with adding my present 2 HP monitors and a new HP printer. The unit is much faster than my previous desktop and runs almost silently. HJIGHLY RECOMMENDED for my home office purposes. Runs all of my business/office programs at optimum levels.
