I love the size of screen, great audio, clarity of screen and the fact that a separate tower is not needed. However, the screen has locked up on me 3 times while I was on the Internet and I had to call my computer guru to help me $$. Another time the keyboard went dead. I changed batteries but that did not help. I turned computer off overnight and the next day the keyboard was working. Windows 8 takes some getting used to but it's okay. Would recommend if didn't have screen lockups.

Great for visual applications: Publisher, games, etc. Big screen with sharp, brilliant viewing. Sets up easy in small space. Wireless keyboard and mouse included.

I was looking to upgrade from a very slow out of date laptop. I spent a lot of time shopping around and a few trips to best buy. I fell in love with everything the envy had and I find new things everyday. I use it daily for video streaming, it's seamless and amazing video. Keeps up with my multitasking and great audio for movies and games.

gotta like the speakers for music / faster processing / less clutter / wider screen for more enjoyable video / it multi tasks very well also

I have two of these in my office now and my employees love them! Easy set up and easy to use. Nice big screens and don't take up much room.

The computer was listed to have Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements on it. This was on the website. It was also told to us by different sales people even when I asked why I could not see it on the display model in the store. We purchased the item, and the software was not on it. After a call to HP, they told us the machine did not come with the software. They told me to call Best Buy. I called the 800 number, and they said it must be a store thing even though it was on the website. I called the store where I purchased it, and they insisted that it was on the computer. They said I needed to bring it in to the store to have them show me where it was Since it was late on a Sunday, I asked if I could take it to a store closer to me, and they said yes. I took it to my closer store, and the Geek Squad personnel did not find the software on the machine. After a lot of them trying to give us an older model and not wanting to help, they finally discounted the software and computer so that we did not have to pay any extra to get the software. Last I looked, the website still said that the software comes with the machine!

The display is really good on this computer. The 23-inch screen is a perfect size and large enough for comfortable viewing. It sits nicely at the back of my desk leaving me with plenty of work room in front of the computer. The footprint is not so large that it gets in the way. The speakers on the computer are excellent, and the wireless mouse and keyboard work perfectly. USB ports are easy to access when needed.

Old computer died. Chose this one as it has touch screen and no tower. Nice and compact and does a great job

The monitor size is awesome! We(my husband and I)were not sure about Windows 8, but so far it's not as daunting as expected.

As an older user the new software was/is hard to learn. I am not familiar with some terms and don't know how to navigate through the software to find the things I need. The team at the point where I picked up the computer tried but were not very helpful and the geek squad were not helpful at all in transferring the files from my old computer in a way that I could easily access then. But I am really pleased with the computer itself and am slowly learning what I need to know.

After purchasing another brand which stopped working after two days I was worried but my new HP Envy23 works perfectly. I have the choice of a Windows 7 type screen or a Windows 8 touch screen (or both). My Geek agent was helpful in getting me started and I have Geek support in case I need help in the future. I love this computer and will recommend it to my friends and family..

Soooo different than Windows XP. I am slowly getting used to it. In time I think I am really going to like the changes and the different ways to use Microsoft Windows 8,1
