I just need a simple black & white laser printer. I have an awesome all in one wireless photo printer but the inks cost too much. So, my only requirement for my printer is that it has to be wireless and will do automatic dual sided printing (duplex). This printer is meeting all my expectations, the toner that comes with it should last 1500 pages, and that's for us will be good for about 3 years. Setting up requires an extra step of downloading software from HP. Also, when installing the toner, don't forget to pull the orange ring and there's another orange clip that covered the chip. I didn't see this little orange clip, and printer was giving me memory error message. It's because that clip prevented the chip to make contact with the printer. Once that's removed, the printer is just simply awesome. Fast, great quality! I'm a happy camper. The only con I can think of is the tray size. It'r protruding but luckily since it's wireless, I can pretty much put it anywhere in the house.

I was browsing around and found out that this is basically a newer version of the 1606dn with Wi-Fi. I know of a lot of small to medium size business use the 1606dn for business and newer version was due. Haven't gotten any issues with it so far, and it's worth it if you can snag one for under $150.

As always I can depend on HP quality for dependable laser printing!!! This is a true wireless printer: print from your computer, phone, tablet, or Kindle with ease!!! Low price, high quality!! Thanks Best Buy!

If you are the person that doesn't want to get up and go to the shared printer in your office but you don't print that much, this is for you. (No 100 page jobs for this printer!) Seems silly, but some people just can't walk the 20 feet to pick up the one page they print every other week. Haha!

The printer is replacing my last HP that lasted 4 years of heavy office use. It was an easy install. Prints fast. Good wireless connection

Hard to beat the price on this printer. Print quality is very nice nad First page out is a bit slow but really nothing to complain about. Duplex printing is handled by the printer, NICE! Hanles large prints quickly and easily. 1 problem I found is from time to time you may need to open all doors and remove the print cartridge to clear a "Gohst Jam" or it may give you a file too big to print error message. but i was able to break up the print job and get er done.

This printer works great for the price. Fairly quick prints and good for the job.

Does one job and does it well. I love that it has an ethernet port and a display to see current IP address. Also nice that the paper tray is "open" so users that often enter one-use sheets (like a check) can do so easily.

Love how fast this printer is. Very simple but great when you print a lot of just black and white. No color catridge needed.

Got this to replace a 10+ yr old hp LaserJet, needed an upgrade to a wireless one. Found this one on sale (less than $120) and it's been great, setup was a breeze. It's not too bulky compared to other LaserJets , relatively quiet and prints fast.

black and white laser printer is lightweight and solid. Prints fast and was very easy to set up.

I purchased this laser because of good reviews and the reliability and service by HP, I especially like that you can print your documents with the choice of printing on both sides, it is very easy to set-up via wifi or usb and the print quality is great.

Like the performance and compact design. Wireless printing feature is a plus!

I use this model printer in a business environment and have found it to be a feature rich and so far, a reliable printer at a very good price. Thus far, I have not had any problems with any of the ones I have purchased of this model.
