Customers are satisfied with the Officejet Pro 8610's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its ease of setup and the inclusion of fax and scanning capabilities. However, some find the printer to be large, and a few note that it can be somewhat noisy during operation. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments regarding size and noise.

Old printer didn't work with new iMac, so read reviews which were positive, found it on sale with a bonus gift card and I was sold! I can print from downstairs from my MacBook Pro using WiFi! And operates geat from the iMac too. Larger than my old printer but still sits on printer table. Haven't tried using all the other options other than print. Prints exactly as page looks on screen. Only negative I can mention is that it is loud. I can hear it from upstairs. But glad I bought HP 8610!

This printer prints and copies fast. Great for faxing and scanning documents. I have it connected to my home network and I can easily print from all my devices (tablets and smartphones too). This printer is probably ideal for a small business but works great for personal home use.

Installation was fairly easy. I had a bit of a problem with the wireless connection, but once solved it has worked flawlessly. I have high expectations and so far the printer has met them. My last HP printer lasted only 18 months before malfunctioning. Need this one to greatly exceed this. Ink cost remain the greatest expense in owning an HP printer. Sure wish cartridge cost was lower. Printer purchase price reasonable - operating cost higher than should be. Wish HP would standardize their cartridges so that one would fit all instead of each printer requiring a unique cartridge.

I purchased this printer as a gift. I actually own the 8610 Pro. About the only difference is that the Pro slots to plug in more memory cards in order to print directly through the printer instead of using a computer. I love that it is wireless and allows you to print wirelessly from your computer or cell phone. By installing the HP ePrint app on your smart phone you can print files & photos directly from your cell phone from anywhere. You can also send a print job through an email.

This printer setup was easy. I had to use the install cd on only one laptop. All other devices connected with out a problem. Keep an eye out for sales on ink. The full set of XL cartridges will be close to the sale price of the printer. It takes up a lot of space on the desk, but other than that it's a great printer.

I have only had this printer about a month but so far, it is probably the best printer i have ever bought. I bought it because my old Epson died. I was going to go with another Epson, but really liked that this HP model had the instant ink program. (flat monthly fee for ink) The program is only $2.99/month. Which over a year, is less than the cost of a single black ink cartridge. The unit performs really well. The colors are great. The automatic feeder is a real bonus. And one of the best features is the auto duplexer: so no more having to manually turn over sheets to print on both sides. The printer automatically does this. Set up was quick and easy and it connected to my home network in minutes. There are only two minor downsides that i've found so far. 1: there is no power saver auto shutoff function. you can however program an automatic turn on and shutoff time. 2: the unit is quick big for a home printer, but it really is meant for home businesses. Because you can connect wirelessly, you can put the printer anywhere your network reaches. We have ours tucked away in a closet. As I said in the beginning, so far so good.

This is my first HP printer I have owned and I am impressed with how simple it was to set up. The touchscreen interface is intuitive and easy to use. The 8610 prints as fast as most other inkjet printers in the market (even if others are faster this one is plenty fast for home document printing), it's quiet, and the quality is great. I researched the cost of ink prior to purchasing the machine and I find that the XL cartridges are some of the most competitive in the market.

This is a good printer that was very easy to set up for printing, fax, scanning and wifi. The print quality is very good. The only reason for 4 stars is because this does not have a bypass tray for envelopes, card stock, etc. It only has a single paper tray causing you to have to remove the paper, set it up for envelopes, etc., print, and then put it back to regular paper.

I have always purchased HP printers I feel they have the best print quality, this one was no different. My last one lasted 14 years. This one has a lot of great features. I like the top loading scan option and the large capacity paper tray, The color screen makes navigating very easy. Set up was a snap and setting up the network printing was very easy as well. Have only had it a little while but so far has been great, the photo printing is great as well.

The printer is overall a great product. It prints fast and clear and is very easy to set up. A few times so far, my computer doesn't recognize the device on the wireless network but all I had to do was stop the document in the print queue and then reprint and everything works fine. I love the document feeder option and losing ink is super quick, and not terribly expensive compared to some other printers I have worked with previously. Just need to see how long it will take for the ink to run out before know fully how much I will be spending total.

Although this printer is much larger than my previous printer and I was looking for a smaller printer, the functionality of this machine is impressive! No more single page scanning and photocopying for me! I can feed a 20 page document for scanning or copying, and it's finished very quickly! The print documents are also top quality! It is a large printer, but I love what the printer is capable of doing very quickly, so the larger size is well worth it to me!

I have had this printer for a month and it was easy to set up. I love the HP Eprint feature although I know it is not unique to this printer. I haven't demanded a lot of the printer, as I got it to print records, emails, and random items needed for life and my small business. I haven't tried it with photos yet but plan to. It is sleek looking and although it is large enough to have a scanner it is not too large for my small office. I really like it!

I waited and waited to buy this printer because I was skeptical that a printer at this low price would be any good. It's a GREAT little printer for the low price, I only wish I hadn't waited so long to buy it
I highly recommend this printer to all, it works great and it was an easy setup as well. I can print from my PC, laptop, tablet or my cell phone with ease.

Printer was easy to set up and use. I am using for personal usage and so I do not print a very big amount. Printer is set up for use as wireless use and I have printed from my desktop, iPad, and iPhone. No problems so far. I have also sent a email to printer when I was out if town and the printer printed the info from e-mail. I have signed up for the ink being mailed to me but have not used yet because I am still on my first ink cartridges.

HP printers, what more do you need, when they want to put out a good quality printer with a good price they get my business, this printer has been great for me so far. recommend to anyone printing 100 pages or less a month, especially if you sign up for there ink program. Anything more i would advise going with a Laserjet.
I really love how hp has started there new ink program. few dollars a month for someone like me is well worth it.

This is a great unit when you can find it on sale at BB. This is my second 86xx series as its to be used for a small business. My other one is the 8620 and there arent a huge amount of differences between the two. This 8610 has a LOT of great features that i use often: very quick draft mode printing, print from mobile devices, very quick scan features, double sided scan and print, and MOST IMPORTANTLY this thing just sips the ink instead of gulping it down. As we all know they make their money on ink refills.... With this printer its very economical on ink consumption. Even the starter ink provided lasts surprisingly a long time. But resupply yours with the XL ink carts... Its worth the extra cost up front as they really last ( at least for me anyway). Now i dont print a LOT of pics and graphics so that helps stretch. This is a good office use printer/scanner/fax so i wont say its a high quality pic printer for photo quality work although it does a decent job, there's better out there. I use a specialized cannon flat bed scanner for highest quality photos and negatives. Anyway, if you can find this on sale like I did for $89.00 this ones the one to get.... Would recommend.
