We bought this to replace a Brother printer that was sucking up toner. Too soon to tell how this one does with ink. Easy to set up. I love the manual feed option - I had to open the Brother's paper drawer every time I printed a check, etc. And the large capacity paper drawer is a huge plus. The speed is pretty dang amazing. Print quality is very good. Can't think of a negative other than the size - it's a mother! BUT I don't move my printer often so that's not a big deal.

Wanted good quality output, wireless connectivity, and fast output without exorbitant ink costs of prior Canon Pixma printer (which had fantastic output). So far, working well on the network and output is fine, although we haven't attempted to print photos yet. Large, so we moved it beyond a sofa in our LR. Got it on sale with a price-match, so got a great deal which made it a key buy.

Used primarily as a printer and copier these first 30 days this machine provides a fast vivid product in both color and black and white. The user interface provides easy to understand instructions. I have used standard and legal size paper as well as #10 envelopes without a hitch. I have easily printed and copied from all combinations of 1 and 2 sided documents. This is a superb and affordable small business machine.

Easy hookup. Very easy to run every function. Fast. I moved and it was a simple task to get it up and running at new location. Price was right, too! Can't say enough about it. Very pleased.

Many reviews make me skeptical about buying this printer, but a friend of mine did and talked me into it. I am glad I did. It has worked flawlessly for everything I have used it for. Excellent print quality and it uses little ink. It is big and heavy.

High Print Quality but Slow on Some Printing

I purchased the X576dw for home office use. I wanted a color printer with a low cost per page. I already had several other color Inkjet, Laserjet and LED printers. However, the cost of toner and ink cartridges for those printers was unreasonable compared to the number of pages they would provide in my opinion. The high print speed and reasonably low cost per page of the X576dw caught my attention. Overall, the printer works as advertised. Print quality is on par with the best laser printers provided you use quality paper. The sample paper that comes with the printer works great. Print quality with standard 20lb bond is still very good without much ink/dye bleeding. I bought the extra paper tray for legal size paper. It works seamlessly with the X576dw. Duplex printing is fast without the mechanical racket created by other printers I've used. My one complaint is that the printer does not have enough internal memory to print documents with embedded OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) objects without long delays or aborting the queued print job due to a time out error. OLE objects are printed as raster images instead of vector. Consequently, high resolution OLEs create huge print files. I tried to print a 104 page document with 3 sheets containing OLEs and the X576dw couldn't do it. Printing the 3 sheets with OLEs separately took approximately 3 to 4 minutes per sheet. HP would improve this printer immensely by including a larger buffer memory. I had considered taking it back to Best Buy but everything else about the printer works fairly well. The scanner (both flat bed and document feeder) works flawlessly. The scan to computer, scan to email and scan to network folder features works with most setups. One caveat is some emails addresses such as goggle gmail have high security settings established by the mail server which cannot be changed by the user. These addresses reject direct email from the printer. HP should address this issue. Comcast emails worked without issue. I have not tried the fax function, but understand from reading other reviews that it works fine.

The setup was fast and seamless. I am in no way shape or form a tech guy. Within an hour I had all 3 computers hooked up and ready to go. The color printing is of good quality and fast. The scanner so far works great.

Excellent Print Quality and Very Fast

First of all, I've had this printer for only one week, so this review is certainly not the most qualified. However, based upon the short time I've had it, I honestly believe I made the right choice. Setup was relatively easy and the print output is excellent. (Near to, but not quite, laser quality.) Also, this printer uses a newer page-wide print head technology in which the print head itself remains stationary while the paper moves underneath it. This allows for extremely fast printing. General color printing (graphs, charts, etc...) is very good, but it should be noted that this is *not* a "Photo Quality" printer (nor does HP market it that way.) Yes, it can print photos with average quality, but the output won't be as sharp as a dedicated photo ink jet printer.

This is the third OfficeJet Pro X I've purchased for business use. The print quality is excellent for general business use (I don't print many photos, so can't really rate for that) and the cost of ink is far less than I was paying for color laser toner cartridges. And they are FAST, even when duplex printing. No complaints at all.

Lightning fast and very easy setup. Only annoyance is that the major paper tray is number 2, which means that all documents that defaults to 1 needs to be okay'ed manually on the printer if the side tray is not loaded.

I had a Smaller HP Printer before this one which was fine for what I had been using it for, but this Model takes my time to a whole New level. I need a Printer that does Not run through a lot of Ink and has Speed which this Printer gives me. The larger Paper tray is a Plus as well. Really Nice Printer at a Really Great Price.

This is a very fast color inkjet MFP with laser like quality. So far, we have not been able to tell the difference between our laser printer output and the x576dw output. Easy to set up wireless and remote print functions. If you have the need for quick, high quality output, I would strongly recommend this machine.

Super fast printing. I needed a printer that switched automatically back and forth between letter and legal size paper based on the many pages I was printing. This one does that perfect. The legal paper can only go in the side fold down tray. The "main" paper tray is for letter size and will not fit legal size. Not a huge problem. I just keep both trays full of paper.

I have had several printers over the years for my small office and this on seems to be heads above the other HP's I have bought for about the same money and all the previous ones worked well. It is bigger, faster and better quality.

The printer is really pretty amazing, being as versatile as it is. I've been able to print emails from my phone from 10 miles away! It's pretty handy! We had a little trouble with the emailing part in the beginning, but it just takes some getting used to. I've also had problems connecting to it from my laptop through our home WiFi, but I'm guessing that's the laptop or the WiFi - not going to blame the printer for that. The one thing that I really am not too happy about is that I went from using a Photojet printer to using this printer which said in the specs that it prints photos. And it does, and they come out all right, however it will not do borderless printing which I was used to with my Photojet. Overall though, I would buy this printer again over any Brother, Epson, or Canon. And it worked out really really well for our real estate documents that we print from the house, even better than the huge machine in the office.

I've been using laser printers for a while, my last one being a brother one. It was color and had scan, print, copy. I didn't know it didn't have fax when I bought it so I've been regretting it for few years. When I got this one, I was amazed with the speed of duplex printing and the app that came with it. The ink is a little bit costly, with each cartridge being about $120. But they say it lasts long so I think it's worth it compared to the 60 dollar toners printing about 30-35% of what this printer can print with the 120 dollar cartridge at much faster speed.

Much faster, excellent quality print, large glass scanner for books. My only concern is the cost of the cartridges! Over $100 each and it takes four. They better last a very long time!
