Customers have good things to say about the picture quality, refresh rate, and OLED display of the Transcend 31.5" QD-OLED monitor, with many praising its vibrant colors and smooth performance. Positive feedback also highlights the surprisingly good built-in speakers and HDR capabilities. However, some users express concerns regarding the large power brick, KVM functionality, and the monitor stand's build quality. The potential for burn-in, a common characteristic of OLED technology, is also mentioned as a point of consideration.

Perfect monitor for pc or console 4k gaming. I use it for my PC and Xbox series X and get perfect 4k from both. It offers a really large display with plenty of customization options. If you are looking for a monitor to use for gaming as well as maybe streaming movies/tv shows, this is a stellar choice.

Good monitor for the price. Many features, but the KVM functionality only works on PC's. Had trouble using this with a Mac, when the screen would only take up the top left corner of the display. Otherwise a great monitor for gaming and a good deal.

Let me preface this by saying I have tried a vast amount of monitors over the last couple years to include the LG 32GS95UE, Samsung G80SD, LG 39GS95QE etc. and this one stands as the clear winner for me. I believe HP have hit it out of the park with this monitor, it is a stunning display with excellent build quality, 140W power delivery, Displayport 2.0 (40GB not full), better than average OSD, decent speakers (LG 32GS95UE are better) etc. I am floored each day that I have used this since purchase. If I had any complaints with the product it would be the price, while it has stand out features I believe they need match the market which has quite simliar monitors for much cheaper. Secondly, the power supply for this thing is no joke, it is MASSIVE so make sure you have the space to accomodate though I dont' imagine that is really an issue for most. All in this is just one astoundingly good looking monitor with alot of features that help it to stand out to me.

A Bumpy Ride

Writing to add another voice supporting Henry's review. This monitor is plagued by some major bugs that I'm surprised made it to production. I am experiencing the same bugs, and have also contacted support multiple times. While some people may just want the panel, these were core features that made me choose this monitor over other gen 3 OLEDs. The panel itself is absolutely beautiful and would be a 5-star product without any of the bugs. Taking 1 star off for each.
1) The firmware tool won't fully update all firmware, only PD and DMC firmware are able to update.
2) Triple clicking with peripherals connected to the hub will automatically switch the KVM, and there is no way to change this behavior. It's actually kinda comical because even when you're consciously trying, it's difficult to not do this(close tabs too fast? boom, black screen). And when you do it you need to spend 20s navigating through the OSD to change the video input back, and then wait, and then go back to the OSD again and change the peripherals to the right channel.
-Plugging all peripherals into a PC and not the hub circumvents this bug. But that means you cannot use the hub at all for a Keyboard or a Mouse. So the "KVM" is really just a "V".
-Another workaround is using omen gear switch with 2 PCs connected running the 'omen gaming hub' software on both PCs. However, if you unplug one of the PCs the bug will reappear.
3) Monitor's ability to talk with Omen Gaming Hub is not consistent. Occasionally you get a "Your monitor may be busy or unavailable." It's remains completely unavailable to modify any settings or use omen gaming hub for omen gear switch so you can use 2 PCs at the same time. Support had me reinstall multiple times which did not work. The only fix is to power off the monitor completely by disconnecting the power cord from the wall.
Some positives:
-This monitor is absolutely gorgeous. It's my first OLED, so maybe they're all this gorgeous, but I'm still amazed by how good it looks every time I turn it on. If none of the above bugs are a concern for you, it's worth buying. It actually hurts to give it 2 stars.
-The 140W pd USB type-c is fantastic and is able to charge more power hungry laptops (I'm using an HP zbook power 15.6 G10). I've had no issues connecting with it over usb-c.
-The omen gaming hub software seems to have a lot of potential for using 2 devices at the same time. I wish the product was more stable so I could test out gear switch more.

Great KVM switch and can double as a smart monitor

I wanted my monitor to handle seamless switching between my personal and work computers as well as double as a TV display. Works as a KVM and its very easy to configure inputs and toggle between inputs. And while it's not a "smart" monitor, I hooked up an Apple TV to an HDMI input and when I turn the Apple TV on, the monitor turns on and switches to the correct input. Perfect for my needs and miles ahead of Samsung smart oled monitors (I have one for another system).

Great color profile and design, beautiful on new gen consoles but unfortunately returned due to connectivity and software issues with my Mac mini m4. For a top line OLED monitor, you're better off investing in another QD-OLED (for versatility I suppose, buggy KVM switch ive heard). OLED protection would turn off and reset every time my Mac was put to sleep while in HDR. HP support was no help, good luck with the warrant too, max you'll receive is 8 months, not 3 years.

Very vibrant display. Very difficult to clean the glossy panel, but seems this applies to all glossy QD-OLED panels. This monitor also offered plenty of ports and a very useful MKV switch. I wish the power supply was a bit smallel and the monitor was all black.

Using this with a Mac, PC, Xbox, PS5 and switch. No problems at all. Only thing is, I wish the power connector didn’t route downwards. Ist’s a beefy cable.

Monitor is bright and has a lot of connectivity in the back to hook up all your keyboard accessories. Great for connecting to laptop that doesn't have a lot of usb a ports. Can also connect to devices using usb C along with HDMI and display port. The power brick is on the bigger size so that would be my only con

This is the best display for both production and gaming. Most gaming monitors aren’t very good for production purposes. This monitor is also great for both Mac and PC.

This is my first 4K OLED and it’s beyond stunning. It’s mostly used on my racing rig but the colors are great and the speakers are not to bad for when I don’t wanna wear a headset. The menus are awesome also, I know weird thing to praise but honestly makes everything else seem so basic

A very functional monitor that offers a great screen and versatility to power other devices + lighting effects in the back of the monitor. However this monitor is best fit for an HP system. The application that runs this monitor doesnt work well with non HP systems so its limited on updating the application, And OLED refresh is very disruptive, you could be working and of all sudden the monitor does its refresh and the monitor goes black.

Bought this for use on my Xbox series x and it really looks nice to be able to get 4K out of my Xbox. I was able to get it when it was on sale so you can’t beat that.
