The HP Omnistudio X is my first all-in-one (AIO) PC on a long time. I love the minimalistic setup as the computer is fully integrated into the monitor, which frees up space under or on top of my desk where a tower would ordinarily be placed. Assembly takes only a few minutes to put together the stand and attach it to the monitor. HP’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the unit’s construction as it consists of 45% post-consumer recycled plastic and 30% recycled metal along with Energy star and EPEAT Gold with Climate+ labels. The packaging is also 100% recyclable. The computer comes with a wireless Bluetooth keyboard and mouse that has a hidden and dedicated USB slot for its dongle, so all the advertised USB ports are available for use out-of-the-box. The keyboard and mouse both use 2 AA batteries rather than built-in rechargeables, and only the mouse has a power toggle while the keyboard is always on or in standby. The computer has a single 6 ft removable power cord that sits flush to the back of the monitor, and there’s a cable management clip included that attaches to the back of the stand. The stand base for the 31.5” monitor has a surprisingly small footprint at just 7.75”W x 9”L but weighs a solid 3.5 lbs. While the stand doesn’t swivel side-to-side or rotate, the height is adjustable from 22.25” down to 18.25” placing the chin of the monitor just 2” above the table surface; you can also tilt the screen upwards about 22°. As for I/O, on the back of the monitor, to the sides of the center column you have a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 with 20 Gbps data and DisplayPort 1.4 In/Out, 2 x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1x2 with 10 Gbps data, HDMI In, HDMI Out, 2.5GbE RJ45 Ethernet port, and combo mic/headphone jack. On the right-hand side of the center column, just above the base, are an additional USB-C and 2 x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1x2 ports. Connectivity-wise this build has Wi-Fi 6 (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.3 for fast wireless connections over the internet and with your peripherals for lag-free, high-bandwidth performance. The power button for the computer is on the back lower right-hand corner of the monitor and the 5-way OSD navigation joystick sits just above it. This IPS display has 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) and a max brightness of 550 nits or 600 with HDR enabled. It can reproduce 95% of the DCI-P3 colorspace for accurate and vibrant colors, perfect for artists and content creators. Watching movies and creating content on it is a great experience with its rich colors and crystal clear quality. Folks who work long hours in front of the screen can utilize wellness features like low-blue light and viewing distance or screentime reminders to reduce eye-strain and fatigue (requires use of the webcam for presence sensing). There are downward-facing dual 2W speakers built-in, and they sound quite decent for integrated monitor speakers. However, if you wish to use headphones or a surround sound system, DTS:X Ultra is supported for a more immersive 3D experience. The specs of this machine are geared towards high-performance with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H with 16 cores, 22 threads, 3.8 GHz base clock, 4.8 GHz boost clock, and 24 MB Cache. This build has 32 GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM across 2 sticks and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe m.2 SSD. The CPU with Intel AI boost has integrated Arc graphics, and there is also NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX4050 with 6 GB GDDR6 RAM installed as a discrete GPU. By default, the screen uses integrated graphics until the demands of your application requires more power before switching to the NVIDIA card, for example while gaming. I was not able to set the screen to always use the NVIDIA card, though you can assign specific apps to always use it, for example games and 3D design tools. If you connect a second monitor, it uses the discrete GPU. While playing games like Path of Exile and Warframe, the RTX4050 did a nice job rendering at 60 fps (frames per second) in 1080p and 2K. I didn’t experience any tearing, stutter, or significant lag in the visuals in windowed mode, but there were occasional stutters and dropped frames at 4K full-screen. The max refresh rate of the monitor is 60 Hz, so you won’t be able to achieve higher than 60 fps while gaming or watching video content unless you connect a second display with a faster refresh rate. The visual performance on its large screen is made the more impressive thanks to ultra-thin micro bezels, and you can take advantage of IMAX Enhanced content for an expanded aspect ratio that delivers a more theatrical movie experience. The integrated webcam on top on the monitor is neatly hidden until you press on top to pop it up. This 5MP IR camera from Poly Studio utilizes temporal noise reduction with AI to improve image quality and reduce graininess, resulting in video that is clear and detailed. It also has dual-array stereo mics positioned on top and facing front, so the computer can capture audio whether the camera is out or stowed away for privacy. The Omnistudio is bundled with Poly Camera Pro software that allows you to make adjustments to your live feed such as pan and zoom, auto-tracking, resolution, brightness, saturation, and contrast, blurred or replaced backgrounds, overlays, and filters. It can be used in combination with Zoom, OBS, Discord, and other video conferencing, recording, and streaming apps. You can toggle on a virtual ring light to help with illumination using the HP Enhanced Lighting app. One of the key features of this machine is that it is optimized for AI-powered tools like Microsoft’s Co-pilot. Co-Pilot is no longer integrated into the Windows OS and is instead bundled as a separate app with a ChatGPT-like interface. There’s even a dedicated button on the keyboard to quick-launch the app. Responses to queries in Co-pilot are fast and detailed, and the tool is useful for answering questions, generating content, and solving problems using language data and information from a variety of trusted sources. A microphone shortcut on the keyboard brings up a voice-to-text utility that transcribes your words into any text field, making it easy to jot down your thoughts as quickly as you can say them out loud. Overall, the HP Omnistudio X is a versatile AIO computer that delivers a stunning visual experience paired with powerful computing to help you work, play, and create better with the help of AI. Every internal component is removable, and the entire system can be disassembled easily for repairs or upgrade, so you can increase the capacity of the hard drive, for example. However, there is no slot for a secondary drive and while you could theoretically go up to 64GB of RAM, you may encounter a hardware bottleneck preventing you from utilizing it all.

All In Ones are a nice choice as it takes up the space that just a monitor would. Other advantages are you don’t have to deal with a separate desktop/laptop and monitor but it’s not portable at 22 lbs. I have had 2 AIO’s and this is by far the best of the bunch starting with its functional design. Also, a major step up is it’s 32-inch 4k screen and dedicated GPU and NPU expanding it from functional work/business app processing to video editing and gaming and AI capabilities. Setting up was very easy with minimal recyclable packing. Just screwed the base into the support arm which then clicked onto the back of the screen/computer while it was still in packing. Set on desk, plug in power cord and turn it on. Processor is Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 155H (up to 4.8 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 24 MB L3 cache, 16 cores, 22 threads) with built in Integrated: Intel® Arc™ Graphics and NPU for AI. 2 SODIMM slots with (2) 16GB DDR5 Micron MTC 5600MHz memory. 32GB is considered more or less the sweet spot for editing/gaming. 953.86GB PCIe 4, WD PC SN560 M.2 SSD 2280 (?) hard drive. SDDPNQE-1T00-2006. Speed is about 75% of my WD SN850 used in my desktop I built. The screen can be adjusted for height and does tilt up but not past 90% down, which is a tad dis-appointing – no swivel. But the screen is the star of the show with its 3840 x 2160 60Hz 4k UHD IPS IMAX enhanced, 10 bit, RGB, HDR anti-glare 550 nits (windows system info stated 687 nits) display. Rated 95% DCI-P3 – which I admit I had to look up. It has to do with color accuracy and fidelity. myHP app allows for system/audio/video adjustments and it is there you can control the brightness and display modes (neutral, warm, cool, HP enhanced, Native, sRGB(D65), BT709(D65) P3(D65). Along with the Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU (6GB GDDR) this all speaks to this unit raising the AIO bar as far as video editing and gaming. It looks fantastic and streaming 4K content is like being in the action. Downside is it’s not a touchscreen so no pen functionality as well - dis-appointing as all my other AOI’s were touchscreens. One side back of screen has power connection, ethernet connector (10/100/1000/2500 GbE NIC), headphone/microphone jack. Other side has HDMI in 2.1 (great for connecting another computer for better resolution editing or possibly 4K blu-ray), HDMI 1.4 out (allows for multiple monitors), 1 USB-C (20Gbps – I would use this port if adding an additional dock), 2 USB-A (10Gbps). No SD slot – again dis-appointing. The arm has built in USB-C (10Gps) and 2 USB-A (10Gbps) connectors, but lowering screen to lowest height kind of blocks easy access to them. Great design element. 5MP IR camera with temporal noise reduction and integrated dual array digital microphones. This pops up/down from top of unit which ensures better security – another nice design element. Included Poly Camera Pro software and AI for clear video/audio. Omen Gaming Hub included for system tweaking for gaming, etc. Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE200 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5.4 wireless connections. Dual 2 W speakers; DTS:X® Ultra; Poly Studio. Which sound decent as they are down firing at base of screen. No real base to speak of but I have certainly heard worse. 280 W 80 Plus Platinum certified power supply An HP 710 keyboard (small) and mouse (cheap comes to mind) are included and already synched to AIO. I easily added my “old” USB connected keyboard and mouse. It is energy star certified and comes with 1 year warranty Cinebench, PCMark10 and 3DMark tests I ran put it middle of the road as far as gaming. I did have grandson try Java Minecraft and there were no stutters and colors popped. Same applied to my playing Automobilia 2 and Assetto Corso – no stuttering with 60 fps at 1080P. Editing old videos to upgrade quality, etc. worked very well as did cleaning up and converting old black/white pics to color. Office apps opened quickly as one would expect and multitasking was no problem with multiple windows/processes running. Having the NPU allowing running of Copilot and all the AI that allows is great too. Generating pictures, etc. works very quickly. Dislikes; No touchscreen/pen. No Thunderbolt connector(s). No indictor light that unit is on. No SD slot. Small (and I would say cheap) keyboard/mouse combo. Unit is very quiet, and its black/silver design is sleek. The arm connections are very convenient and pop-up camera is nice for added security. The 4k screen is fantastic even not being a touchscreen. If you are looking for a sleek computer with a small footprint that can get things done, has built in NPU for Copilot AI this is worth a look and recommend at 4.5 stars.

HP OmniStudio X 32" 4K UHD All-in-One with Adjustable Height - Intel Core Ultra 7 - 32GB Memory - 1TB SSD - NVIDIA RTX 4050. I could easily imagine this new HP AiO computer appearing on the desktops of influential business moguls or at least television dramatizations featuring their characters. For the rest of us, you should trust that your new computer not only looks the part but owns it in every important way. I’ve been playing, testing, and diving into the feature set. Slick. Sleek. It’ll even impress geeks. I was pulled in to a beautiful computer that tackled all my computer needs (and desires) and even stepped in to help with suggestions to enhance the experience. SETUP: Windows PCs have definitely streamlined the startup process. There appears to be hints of self-awareness as the computer wisely recommends taking a break while to installs updates. Less encouraging was the discovery that this initial mix of firmware and software updates trips up on its own process. The end user will need to manually request the updates that never completed. I only discovered these misses when I did my usual wandering through the system settings to investigate how I might enhance some performance parameters that I favor. Both Windows and HP provide easy-to-use apps that make this so much easier. In both cases, I would encourage more detailed explanations and guidance. Also, advising the user that not all updates occurred is important. PERFORMANCE: After a few hours of use, even running some benchmarking software, I was pleased to realize what a difference this All-in-one format makes in user comfort. The keyboard, because it does not sit on top of a laptop motherboard, never gets uncomfortably warm. The operation remains eerily silent, and this keyboard is so easy to re-orient, or move to my lap as my posture wilts during the day. The less endearing realization a few hours of use later that same day, was realizing I was operating in complete silence. I spent the next hour trying to figure out where my speakers were and why they weren’t operating. That helpful user assistance quickly gave up and recommend I call support. But a little more perseverance and I discovered the sound updates needed some added encouragement. Very nice speakers are now reliably performing. Both my benchmarking of standard and gaming performance quickly revealed why real graphics cards such as this NVidia 4070 are so desirable. What were initially meh results with the Intel Arc graphics greatly improved after enabling the NViDIA graphics. (With many programs, the computer makes decisions about whether the embedded Intel graphics is sufficient or the Nvidia card is best). I don’t game that often, and I certainly don’t use the most demanding games, but I was very impressed with the detail, colorfulness, motion and smoothness of any video programming I used. No programs ever stressed the HP OmniStudio which quickly processed videos, calculated spreadsheets or delivered video conferencing or programming at its best. I could list features but it seems more useful to simply note that in every imaginable way HP has ensured a buyer has todays’ best-in-class, connection speeds (Wi-Fi7)(Bluetooth 5.4), a proven performance processor (Intel Core Ultra 7), a useful array of ports, a gorgeous display (4K IMAX Enhanced), a premium conferencing camera (5MP), and AI features that makes working with this complex tool much easier. You can even share this massive display with your laptop (USB-C Display Port in). SUMMARY: The HP OmniStudio X 32" All-in-One makes a statement about status, competence and seriousness. The performance easily surpasses the needs of its likely buyers. Gamers will prefer their specialized monitor and probably lots of DIY components to extract the last measure of specs. If you’re a business person needing portability, this might be your desktop at work or home, that you can actually plug into to share the monitor. What I look for is quiet operation, healthy ergonomics, and a screen that is visually perfect with maximum useful viewing area. I can fit two pages of text, fill the very wide screen with a movie or YouTube clip, and run programs in multiple, useful windows. It’s only fair to note that as great as this computer looks on my desktop, it is a commitment to a system that doesn’t invite after purchase modifications. Having owned this type of format several times in the past, I never felt that was a problem. HP has thoughtfully packaged a fully realized computer that will meet my needs for years.

Being a PC builder since the early 90's, I am not going to lie, the recent all-in-one PCs have become pretty great. From performance to footprint, they can satisfy many types of PC people. Being me of course, custom PC's are always going to be on top, but this Omnistudio does so many of my daily tasks without being power hungry and looks fantastic. As long as you have a spot to place a 32 inch monitor, then you are good to go. Setup is so simple and tool-less. In the box comes with everything you need to get started and go. The arm slides into the base and you turn the capture screw and that's that. Then the arm "plugs" into the back of the monitor with a click and you are basically done. Find a place to put it and use the included KB and Mouse and you're off. Surprisingly I love the included keyboard. Feels very tactile and the build quality is excellent. Heavy so it won't move around on you. Something also to note is there is no dongle as it is built into the PC itself so all you need to do it turn on the KB and mouse and they pair automatically. I have been using this OmniStudio for both work and pleasure (light gaming) and found it do be great in both. Admittingly this HP comes with a little too much bloatware for me. Took about 45 minutes to remove all the useless HP and McAfee apps that in my opinion is not needed. Freed up a lot of space after that. Some of the notable specs you should note are: 32inch 4k screen - Nice and bright IPS panel RTX 4050 LAPTOP GPU - remember, this is an AIO so it's not using a desktop GPU Intel Core Ultra 7 155H 3.8GHZ (yes we all know the drama with Intel, but fingers crossed) 32GB DDR5 RAM Using Steam and Epic a lot of my games ran fine in 4K as long as I didn't turn up the settings. Low to Med was handled well. The PC can run 4K @ 60HZ max. As long as you know the all in one isn't really meant for gaming, then you won't be disappointed. Please do not go off of the spec's page stating 4050 is HIGH END gaming, because that is a straight up lie. IO On the back of the panel has HDMI in and out, 2x USB A, 1x USB C, Ethernet Jack and a Headphone/Mic combo jack. On the stem is 2x USB A and 1x USB C You can plug in another monitor via USB C or HDMI out for a multi display setup. I was even using the monitor as a 4k 60HZ gaming monitor and it looked good (PS5). The built in speakers were fine for the job, not mind blowing but loud enough for gaming or streaming content. I was very impressed by the performance and ability to handle a lot of my daily tasks of either web surfing, quick work sessions or even playing a little bit of gaming to kill the time. If you are looking for a PC that will not take up a lot of space or even for a dorm with plenty of power and performance, then I would definitely take a look at the OmniStudio. It has my thumbs up.

Overall I found that this OmniStudio exceeded my expectations in nearly every category, no need to upgrade anything, it’s spec’d for success. The OmniStudio is only slightly thicker than my equivalent sized gaming monitor and even though it has a reasonably powerful processor and video card it is quieter than many laptops I own even when set to the high performance setting. The 4k display produces solid clear text when using Office apps as well as brilliant imaging when watching a 4k video. The speakers although small and hidden provide reasonable sound quality, better than I expected. Bottom line is that I couldn’t find anything I did not like in this All-in-One computer. It is a perfect solution for someone who is looking for a work station that can handle the office apps, take video conference calls and can play movies and videos in 4k. I would not recommend this for someone who is looking for a powerful gaming system. While the Nvidia RTX 4050 can handle most video games the 60hz refresh rate of the monitor would limit the overall quality of the video for the more video intense games. Hardware Review: The 31.5 inch display screen is a 4K UHD IPS screen that supports 3840x2160 resolution and HDR 600. I found it to be very bright with rich colors even when viewing from an angle. At the 4k resolution as well as lower resolutions like FHD 1080P the refresh rate of the monitor stays at 60 hz. While this is fast enough for movies/videos it will be more apt to show pixelization and tearing on some high speed games. The OmniStudio comes with the Intel Ultra 7 155H which is powerful enough to perform all the typical daily tasks but it isn’t as powerful as a typical Intel i7 processor found in an HP Envy desktop tower. Basically to get the thin design of OmniStudio there has to be constraint on the heat and power of the processor. I think it’s a good tradeoff when comparing the overall footprint of the system. I included the Geekbench 6 testing results for the system below. My OmniStudio came with 32gb of Micron DDR5 5600 ram which is plenty and fast enough to meet all requirements. My system’s storage is a 1 Tb Western Digital SN560 Gen 4 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD. This is a popular SSD and at 1 Tb its large enough that I see no need to upgrade it. Also this is the only NVMe slot available so you cannot add a second drive. The video card is a Nvidia RTX 4050 and provides great video quality for most applications and adequate quality for low level gaming. The keyboard is a wireless full size Chiclet type membrane keyboard. It is powered by two AAA batteries and although functional I prefer a mechanical keyboard. The mouse is also wireless and barebones, it too is functional but something most people will want to replace. There is a built in pop up 5 MP IR video camera that can used for face recognition and video calls. The pop up feature guarantees privacy when lowered. The built in microphones have noise reduction capabilities that also improve video calls. The OmniStudio support WiFi 7 wirelessly and Ethernet via the included ethernet port. Ports: There are ports on the back of the unit and on the stand. The ports on the stand are connected internally when you connect the stand to the monitor. On the back of the unit there are two 3.2 Gen 2 USB_A ports, one 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C port that also supports Display port 1.4, one HDMI 2.1 input, one HDMI 1.4 output, a RJ-45 Ethernet port and a headphone/microphone combo jack. On the side of the stand there are two 3.2 Gen 2 USB-A ports and one 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C port. Also there is a wireless dongle port that comes with the unit to support the keyboard and mouse. This can be replaced with new dongle if you want to use a 3rd party keyboard and mouse. Here is the Geekbench 6 testing results that I got on my Omni Studio: Single Core: 2200 Multi Core: 12141 Open CL: 71421

I have to tell you, I’ve been converted to a total All-In-One (AIO) fan. For me, the benefits far outweigh the cons. Take for instance this HP Omnistudio – it has become my primary desktop for all my tasks. It’s replacing a desktop tower, a soundbar and woofer, a web cam with a sleek AIO design. The space savings alone and clean looks (no cables from all the accessories) is awesome. What do you lose with an AIO? You lose device independence, upgradability and expandability. Device independence? I call it that because if you have a problem with your AIO display – you’re done. With a desktop if your monitor fails, you can just plug into a different monitor. All that said – I’m still in favor of AIOs for home users and even office/business users! So, many other review detail the specs, ports and features all readily present in the manufacturers description. The point of a review is to use the product and give your readers your opinion of the device. As I write this review, I’m using the HP Omnistudio AIO device I recently received. In fact, I cleared off my desktop and set this sleek 32” device in the primo visual space. I’ve been very happy with the crisp and clear 4K display – seems like whiter whites and darker darks. I have another 32” display hooked up as well – so I have 64” of screen! I run some complex Excel files and large databases, and this HP Omnistudio’s Core Ultra 7 processor as well as the 32GB of RAM have really done well as performance is concerned. I have even tuned some of those applications to take advantage of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU. See the pictures of the Passmark Performance Test report that I do for every machine I get. The final score compares to dedicated gaming rigs! Overall, I’m very happy with the HP Omnistudio x 32 and it will stay as my primary compute device for many years I’m sure!

The HP OmniStudio X All-in-One PC is a beautifully designed PC created to meet the needs of modern content creators and everyday users alike. I finally replaced an aging all-in-one desktop computer built by “the other mainstream computer maker” with this excellent computer and I couldn’t be happier. In my opinion, this system is ideally designed for seamless editing of both photos and videos, making it my primary tool for all of my editing work. As a content creator specializing in real estate, I've discovered that this system can effortlessly manage even the most demanding graphic-intensive applications, allowing seamless editing within them. When editing 4K video, most of my previous machines would start to struggle as I color graded video footage forcing me to create proxies before getting to work. With the OmniStudio, I can perform color grading, enhance sharpness, and apply numerous other adjustments without experiencing any lag, even when editing high-resolution footage. Incredible! That said, when loading your sequence with numerous post edits and speed ramps, creating proxies might still be beneficial. In specific projects, I often follow this practice, which significantly streamlines the editing process, making it even more efficient and time-saving. When following this practice, the OmniStudio runs like a hot knife through butter. With its stunning 32" 4K IMAX enhanced display, 32GB of RAM, Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, this system is built to handle demanding tasks with ease. Here are some standout features from the perspective of a content creator. ~ Display: A Visual Masterpiece ~ The 32" 4K IMAX enhanced display is undoubtedly the star of the HP OmniStudio X. The screen offers incredibly sharp and vibrant visuals, making it perfect for photo and video editing. The high resolution ensures that every detail is visible, allowing for precise adjustments and edits. The IMAX enhancement adds an extra layer of depth and clarity, providing an immersive viewing experience that is second to none. For content creators, this display is a game-changer. When editing photos and videos, the color accuracy and sharpness allow for meticulous color grading and retouching. The large screen real estate also means you can have multiple windows open simultaneously, improving workflow efficiency. ~ Dual-Screen Setup ~ Using the OmniStudio X as a secondary display for your laptop can greatly improve your workflow. For instance, you can have your laptop editing software open on the OmniStudio X’s large, sharp screen while keeping reference materials, emails, or other applications open on your laptop. This dual-screen setup helps in maintaining an organized workspace and enhances efficiency. HP even provides you with the needed USB-C cable to connect your USB-C enabled laptop. ~ Performance: Power to Create ~ Equipped with 32GB of RAM and an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor, the HP OmniStudio X delivers exceptional performance. Multitasking is seamless, and even the most resource-intensive applications run smoothly. Whether you’re rendering high-resolution videos, working with large photo files, or running multiple applications at once, this PC handles it all effortlessly. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU further enhances the system’s capabilities, providing the graphical power needed for advanced video editing, and even gaming. As stated previously, the GPU ensures that rendering times are minimized and that playback is smooth, even when working with 4K footage. ~ Space Saving Design ~ One of the standout features of the HP OmniStudio X All-in-One PC is its space-saving design. This aspect is particularly beneficial for content creators who often need a clutter-free and organized workspace to maximize productivity and creativity. The all-in-one design integrates the computer components into the monitor itself, eliminating the need for a separate tower. This not only saves space but also reduces cable clutter, giving your desk a clean and streamlined look. The sleek and modern aesthetic of the OmniStudio X adds a touch of elegance to any workspace, making it a visually appealing addition to your setup. ~ Integrated Features ~ The inclusion of a pop-up 5MP camera within the monitor itself is another great feature. This design choice ensures that you have a high-quality camera for video calls and live streams without the need for an additional external webcam. When not in use, the camera can be retracted for both privacy, and to maintain the sleek profile of the monitor. ~ Minimalist Setup ~ The OmniStudio X’s minimalist design extends to its peripherals as well. With wireless keyboard and mouse options, you can further reduce the number of cables on your desk. The various connectivity ports are conveniently located, allowing for easy access while maintaining a tidy appearance. Out of the box and once the batteries were installed, both the keyboard and mouse were already paired and ready to go. :: Pros :: Stunning 32" 4K IMAX Enhanced Display: Perfect for detailed photo and video editing with lots of real estate to work with. Powerful Performance: 32GB RAM and Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor handle demanding tasks effortlessly. High-Quality GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 ensures smooth rendering and playback. User-Friendly Design: Pop-up 5MP camera for clear video calls. Versatile Connectivity: Multiple ports for various peripherals. :: Cons :: No Built-In SD Card Slot: Requires an external card reader for transferring files from cameras. I purchased a separate 10 port USB C hub that alleviates this issue. Keyboard and Mouse: The mouse is the least impressive part of the entire package. It is very minimal indesign, a little narrow and long, and not very comfortable to use. The top cover that pops off to reveal the battery compartment also seems a bit flimsy. The keyboard is excellent, has many useful button controls, and feels solid, I just wish it was backlit for darker environments. I would have also liked to see both the keyboard and mouse be USB-C rechargeable, instead of using AAA batteries. The good thing here is that both of these can be easily replaced with your favorite mouse and keyboard as a minor upgrade. USB-C Ports: If you are planning on plugging in an expansion hub, I would connect it to the USB-C port on the back of the monitor instead of the side of the monitor stand. The one on the back of the monitor is rated at 20 Gbps signaling rate, the one on the side is rated at 10 Gbps signaling rate. In my testing I have noticed that when the hub is plugged into the 20 Gbps port on the back of the monitor, I can transfer files from an SD card at roughly 137 Gbps. While plugged into the side USB-C port (which I did first) it runs at around 22 Gbps. Massive difference. I am not sure why both ports aren’t rated at 20 Gbps, but they should be, so this falls into the cons for me. ~ Conclusion ~ After a few small inconveniences that can be overcome, the HP OmniStudio X All-in-One PC is an exceptional choice for anyone, but it truly shines for content creators. Its combination of a stunning display, powerful performance, and thoughtful features make it an ideal tool for photo and video editing. Despite the minor inconvenience of lacking a built-in SD card slot, the overall package is hard to beat. If you’re looking for a reliable and versatile system to elevate your creative projects, the HP OmniStudio X is a perfect choice.

The HP OmniStudio is an awesome all-in-one computer. It has an Intel Ultra 7 processor with 32GB of memory. This is a mobile processor to make it fit in a small package but that is okay. It is powerful enough to do many things. The ram a pair of 16GB SK Hynix HMCG78AGBSA095N. It runs as DDR5-5600 (2800 MHz) SO-DIMM. What is great is it runs dual channel and not a single pair like many computers are configured. The storage is a Kioxia KBG50ZNV1T02 1TB in capacity. It runs PCIe 4.0 x4 NVME and is M.2 2280 in size. The GPU is a GeForce RTX 4050 (laptop). It has 6GB GDDR6 VRAM. This computer has both HDMI out to connect an additional display and HDMI input – but not what you think. Initially, I thought I could connect my DSLR and use it as a camera for streaming with OBS. It does not work that way. The HDMI input is to turn your monitor into a display device. You can connect your XBOX or Playstation console and use your monitor as a display. You can switch by pressing the Ctrl+Shift+S+D buttons on the keyboard. When you switch displays, you will lose most keyboard functionality. You will need to use the directional button behind the monitor to control settings. This display supports up to 4K UHD resolution in a 32” display size. HDMI out supports 1.4 while HDMI in supports 2.1 specifications. This is targeting gamers so I installed Black Myth Wukong on Steam. I did not have high expectations being the GPU is a laptop. I left the settings on medium with Ray Tracing disabled. The movie scene in the beginning was fine. There were some frames lost when the soldiers were displayed but throughout that scene, it handled well. The graphics were medium but not bad. Gameplay was fine using an Xbox controller plugged in via USB-C cable. Now, enabling Ray Tracing is a different story. The game does not run well. You will not enjoy it. Just leave Ray Tracing off and at medium settings and it playable. This also has a webcam with 5MP resolution. It looks good when I previewed it in Microsoft Teams. With good lighting, it is a good camera. Overall, this is a good spec computer considering it is an all-in-one. Set your expectations being it has laptop components. Otherwise, I like it. The keyboard and mouse that is included is wireless but I would go for a different set. I like wired peripherals. I made many mistakes while typing up this review and using the included keyboard. I am just not used to it being I normally use a mechanical keyboard. The mouse is an ordinary mouse. If you will game on this computer, get a mouse with extra buttons. The stand is nice as well. You can swivel around with ease. The height of the display can be adjusted. It is a very nice package all together. More USB-A ports would have been nice.

I am really liking this computer. I do a lot of graphics projects, and it performs extremely well, including when i have multiple apps running. The large screen makes it easy to deal with graphics details. It also enables me to display several app screens side-by-side without compromising readability. The face recognition is also a nice feature. If it is in sleep mode, it wakes up when I come in the room and then looks for my face and turns on automatically when it recognizes my facial features.

Upgraded from a previous Omni 12 year old all in one computer. This newer OmniStudio has everything I was looking for in speed, memory, and screen size. Hoping I can get another 12 years out of this one. Solid computer whether for the office or as a family computer. Very pleased!

So far, so good. 5 stars for now, subject to future revisions. Screen is huge with bright colors. The white is too bright for my eyes, so I dial back the intensity quite significantly. I use it mainly for charts and charting programs. The 32gb of memory is a must. Would have gotten 64 if it was available. The fans are very quiet as the hot air is blown up through the top vents. The installed Windows 11 has almost no bloatware, which was a pleasant surprise. I also hooked it up to a 2nd monitor, so I have plenty of real estate. Hopefully, it will be durable. The only downside is that 2 weeks after I purchased it, Best Buy slashed the price by $280. That sucked.

I have had HP OmniStuido X 31.5" 4K UHD ALL in One for about a month. The speakers are good quality. It is very quiet, I never hear the fans running! The large screen makes it super nice! I did not use the keyboard/mouse that came with it, I have a personal preference for a larger keyboard. It has a port for Ethernet, but when you set it up you will have to reboot your Modem otherwise it will not connect. The plug for the ethernet does not make a typical click sound when you insert it. But it does go in and you will see on the screen that you are connected to ethernet. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend. It is expensive, but worth it.

For the price I paid, this computer runs very well. Just need to remember it is not a full size computer and has its limits. Graphics work very well as well as video games, but no speed demon.

My wife needed a more powerful machine to support her need to have several (4-6) programs running at the same time. The 32G of Ram supports this nicely and the screen is large enough to provide plenty of presentation space. The fact that it doesn't need a huge power supply brick is another plus. Gret machine at a bargain price. Highly recommended.
