    Fastest printer I've ever owned

I was hesitant about purchasing this printer since it was the first of its kind and the technology hasn't been out there for long, but I'm so happy that I decided to try it. I require high volume printing for contracts and sometimes color for brochures. I've always been a laser printer user, specifically brother, but this technology is far superior than anything I've ever seen. The scan quality is much better than any other printer I've used. The apps that HP has to offer are vast and you can literally print from anywhere, there are so many options to do such a simple task. I've owned the printer for about three months and I havnt even gone through 15% of the ink that came with the box. My advice: if you are looking for a super fast, modern, and efficient printer this is the one. Especially if you are used to using laser printers and are tired of the low quality color that they usually give out.

    A Great Upgrade

This printer is a great upgrade from my toner printer both HP of course and both print great but this one, the cartridges last longer and holds more paper. it is also easy to setup and I really like that it also looks great. I've had this for over 4 months and I haven't changed the ink, I bought already the ink but I have yet to change it. It also copies both sides and prints as well. overall it was a great upgrade from my other HP Printer.

Yes, HP setup is weird, but one all is set and done, this printer performs well. It’s fast, prints come out great, and it’s much more quiet than comparable laser printers. So far, so good!

My 7 year old HP 8630 printer finally died and I decided to buy a new printer. I initially purchased an Epson eco tank printer. It was slow and the software was terrible. Returned it and bought this Pro 477dw. A great machine. Faxes go through now where they used to fail to send with my old 8630. Printing is fast and clear and two sided is simple. I printed a picture on the Epson before returning it and the colors seemed off. I printed the same picture with this HP 477 and found the colors were much more accurate. Ink seems to last a long time, I am still using the starter cartridges that came with it but have replacements standing by. This is an excellent printer for a business or for someone who does a lot of printing at home.

Super fast and easy to use. Only downfall is no second tray to use for envelopes, only the side tray that you have to put envelopes in and out depending what your printing.

I've had this printer for approx. 1 month as of 10/13/17. Love this printer. Fast, quality printer with all the current technology. I use it for my real estate investment business. Works great! I bought an extended warranty via squaretrade just in case though.

It is working as expected. I've printed a lot of my work documents and it has still got ink. The originalcartridges. I went through a lot of ink with my old HP 8740. I loved that printer and it's set up. But sadly all printers eventually die. I purchased the HP 9025 thinking it would be a similar printer just more condensed in size. I hated it. I used it for a few weeks thinking 'it was new and I just needed to get used to it. In 3 weeks time I flew through ink. Hated the small dysfunctional out put tray and so much more. It went back and I purchased this one. Higher cost for the printer and ink, but I wanted something that was going to work for me. I have not been disappointed and am so thankful I did. No disconnecting issues with this one. Still on first cartridges sent. I am one that likes to be sure I've got ink on hand, but this one is doing great. I did purchase a black cartridge since I usually go through those pretty quickly. I haven't had to replace it yet. Cartridges are more in cost, but when printing number of sheets is compared to cost, it is so much cheaper. Let's talk about the paper. Output tray us perfect for printing several documents out. Holds several sheets, compared to the 9025, which was a joke. More than 10 pages on that one and they were on the floor. The paper tray is perfect as well. I can put an entire ream of paper in the tray at one time. And the additional tray for stiffer paper is placed in the right place to flip it down and get it going for envelopes and card stock. It's not on the backside of the machine like so many. Printing is quick, much quicker that my previous ones. Very quiet and only operates when it has a job. So no noise between printing time or humming of the machine. Overall printing of document is clear and precise. I don't do photos much so that aspect has not be looked at for overall printing appearance. Let's talk scanning. I do a lot of that and the automatic input tray has never been maxed on this one as it was on the 9025. The output tray handles them all. Very quick. Had to check a few times to be sure they all scanned and had to add a few single pages, but humidity was higher at that time, which I account for that aspect of sheets being pulled so fast that it has 2 sheets instead of the 1. Faxing is great as well. No issues overall with that. Overall I think this printer and I are going to work just fine together.

This printer is more expensive than most, but it is well worth it. I am a non-tech person with a small but busy law office. The printer is very easy to set up and prints beautifully. It prints envelopes with wrinkling them. I have had Brother and Epson printers in the past and this HP Page Wide is far, far better. I love this printer.

The 477 printer is so much better than my old reliable HP 4100. The wireless capability makes it possible to print from my smart phone. I made a great choice.

I purchased this printer for my small business and it has worked great! Very efficient with its ink cartridges and super speedy with plenty of options for printing. The one flaw I've noticed is that the scans that go through the feeder tray come out a little crooked, no matter how I arrange the tray.

This printer is amazing because it does double-sided printing but You need thicker paper, not 89 Paper you need 92 or more, It printsDouble sided at one time it does not suck it back and print on the other side it's double printing on double-sided paper in one shot, It prints so fast it can do 500 sheets in five minutes Or less

This makes a great office printer for low to mid volume users who need color, as well as all in one functionality. I recommend the page-wide above a similarly sized and priced color laser. The only down side, is that generic ink will damage the ink heads on the pagewide printers. This means you are stuck with the expensive HP ink, unless you want to have issues.
