Worst item ever purchased from Best Buy

I have purchased other printers from Best Buy over the years because of the quality and value they offer at the store. However, this printer is only a few months old and already it is in for repairs. If you buy this printer, absolutely purchase the service plan. I purchased the "larger capacity" black ink cartridge and it went dry after only ten print jobs of a single page in draft mode. It is way too expensive to keep feeding this machine ink. It is also not very fast and it is quite noisy.

Should Have Believed Reviews

Took over 3 hours on phone with tech support to print first copy. Still can't scan directly to PC. Also will not save photos directly to PC. Print speed inconsistent...fast most time but often takes up to three minutes to start printing first copy.
Bought this printer for wireless feature but this is where the problem seems to be....will try using ethernet network setup although this will defeat purpose for purchasing wireless.
If your considering this printer for wireless feature you had best forget it.
Ready to return in spite of restocking charge.

This is the worst printer, constant problems with it. Uses ink like water, have to replace cartridges at lease once a week. I want my money back or a different printer. Prints incredibally s-l-o-w. Hate it!

Best Buy should not be sending products out of their store that are in damaged boxes without first looking inside to ensure the product is fully fuctioning/unharmed!!!

Horrible printer lost wireless connection

This unit lost the wireless connection and even HP tech support cannot make it reconnect. I spent a total of 4 hours watching HP download drivers 3 times and install about 6 times and it failed everytime. They even edited the registry and deleted some USB entries which had nothing to do with the problem and made me furious. Doing setup on the printer it found the wireless router and would print out the IP address and said everything was working. That is until it ran out of ink from tech support doing this over and over and over. When you went to the computer and pinged the IP address it found the printer but when you installed the software it refused to find the printer. Tech support tried at least 10 times over the 4 hours they tried to make it work and it failed every time with the same error messages every time. When they finally gave up then I had to wait another 15 minutes for it to uninstall the software and send the failure log to HP to try and figure out what was wrong. I hope to make this the very last product that I ever buy from HP as every HP product I have bought in the long run has caused me a lot of aggravation. It may work fine with a cable but kids lost the cable and HP wants $28 for a new cable after wasting 4 hours of my time fixing what was a working printer.

This is an very nice printer at a reasonable cost. You can print pictures from the printer itself which is convienient. The pictures are all in high resoultion and pretty quick in printing photos also.
The demo ink that it comes with went by quick appox 30 pictures but I had 30 pics in excellent quality, so its well worth it.
When planning on buying extra ink get the large ink bundle which the sales rep recommended.
(I've scanned a copy of the demo picture)

My first HP. Not able to delete certain pages from print preview page. Contacted HP support because it ran through print preparation occuring everytime it printed something using lots of ink. Could not correct problem. Told to return it to store. The pages printed were backward, if i wanted it to print first to last page, it printed last to first. I think it's a lemon.

Purchasing your HP Photosmart D7360 last year, including three-year warranty, encountered first problem the other day -- a paper jam; taking it to your Eagan Best Buy store; technician removed jammed paper, and we were on our way. Appreciate prompt service. Really like your Best Buy personnel in your Eagan location. Thanks again! Stan

I have now had 3 of these printers. Each of them has not made it through the set up process for wireless networking. I continually get a blue screen with a code, none of the buttons work and it won't shut off. I have contacted HP support and no one has heard of this. I have been told twice that I have a faulty printer and to return it to the store for a new one. How can I get 3 faulty printers in a row? I tried to give HP printers another shot but I am again disappointed. My advice is to stay away from this printer.

This is the first time I have bought a product that broke out of the box! It kept giving me ink errors and no matter what fix I tried nothing worked. I returned it for a Canon MX850 and it works flawlessly. The build quality on the new line of HPs are no where near the build quality of the older generations. I own a HP PSC2510 and its still working solid after 3 years. The Canon printers are built real solid and not of cheap plastic bits like this HP. I may have to start recommending their products over HP.

Never had a chance to really see the printer work. Wireless never set-up correctly (why it was purchased)! Bought new router still could not complete set-up. Paper would not feed correctly, and said load paper. Then when pressing ok it would say improper shutdown do not unplug use power key. Never unplugged it though, go figure! I like the brand just not this model printer!

Have 64-bit Vista machine. At shutdown gives error hpqgpc01.exe. Read HP user forums and users can not get error to go away, and say that HP is not very responsive on the issue. I am bringing it back. Also, I got this 600 dpi printer, and it was not as crisp as my 300 dpi 18 year old Epson laser.

Absolutely the worst excuse for a printer I've ever seen.
