Poorly Made — Horrible Customer Service

Do not buy this printer, or anything HP. I bought this just over a year ago. The color blue has stopped working (yes the ink is full.) I tried all the troubleshooting techniques recommended by HP. Nothing has fixed it, so I called HP directly. They told me the printer was 47 days out of warranty and I needed to pay $19.99 to move forward with tech support. I refused, so they tried selling me a monthly subscription at a “cheaper” cost of $6.99 (apparently in preparation of this breaking many more times and continually needing their assistance.) They refused to offer any support or replacement parts since it was just over a month past the 1 year warranty. Don’t ever buy from a company that does not stand behind their product. I’m buying Cannon products only from now on.

Right now it’s not working, keeps saying the printer is busy. Been going on for 2 days now. Really frustrating and now I have ink all over my hand from trying remedies to no avail. Worked well other than the last 2 days. I haven’t had to buy ink yet and have printed a couple thousand pages. So the ink life is top notch. My old hp o would’ve went thru 200 cartridges to get here

So disappointed in this printer -connection issues

Well I have had this printer for over 2 years now and while I do overall like it, I definitely don’t love it. No where near love LOL. I purchased this printer for 2 specific reasons. The first reason was because it is a wireless printer and the second reason was because of the ink and how I can refill the printer with the ink and not have to deal with ink cartridges and those issues in themselves AND the ink it came with was advertised to last 2 years and it has! I have not even gotten a notice that the ink is low yet. It does sound really good and I’m very happy with the quality of the printing. What I am not happy with is that the printer continues to lose connection to the WiFi and it’s a PITA to reconnect and most of the time I have trouble and have to do these reconnection steps over and over again! THAT is the only reason for the low score. If it weren’t for that there would be a 5 star review here. One other thing I’d like to add is there is another HP printer that was brought onto the same WiFi connection and every time I try to connect- it only shows that stupid printer that I want to chuck out the window lol. Anyways thank goodness I bought a 4 year geek squad plan. Going to contact them today to help me hopefully.

I’ve only had it for a month or so. Works amazing! Printed much faster than I expected. Sealed ink setup is the best invention ever. Saves you money on faulty ink cartridges when you don’t print every day.

I’m disappointed that I was forced to give this one star because zero stars would be more appropriate. Printer worked well for maybe a month and then only worked intermittently afterwards. Paper would not feed and constant Error 4 message. Cleared the jams, changed the paper and cleaned the rollers as recommended via the interwebs and still had the same issues. The printer feed mechanism is very cheaply made and not designed well at all. Not like HP printers of yesteryear. No support or assistance from HP other than ridiculous ideas such as “clean the rollers” or pray to the Printer Gods for it to work. Pros: 1. Fits in a trash can 2. Is not radioactive (have not confirmed) 3. Saves ink and paper Cons: 1. Paper jams 2. Doesn’t print

After trying many other brands, we came back to HP. Great quality, compatibility and now longer ink life with this model compared to our other printers. Highly recommend!

For home use it is excellent. I don’t think it would work in an office environment that requires a lot of copies. We are happy with it.

This is the first time I’ve seen ink tanks in a printer. Being a user of HP printers for ages, I had tough life buying 3rd party ink cartridges, and refillable ink cartridges, plus warning signs from HP…. the new super printers (6001) is a blessing. Thank you HP. PS: Respectfully declining $400 gift.

Great printer. Just wish the wording was a little more clearer. The two years of ink is supposedly already included in the ink they gave you. This will definitely not last us 3 months, but it’s still better than the cartridges.
