This laptop is great for light work (business or home use), is easy to carry, and the touch screen is a plus. When combined with the included Office and Anti-virus, this was an excellent purchase at a very reasonable price. FYI: Pick up an SD card for additional storage!

Great Gift for 7 y/o, but Hard to Upgrade to Win10

This was a Christmas gift for our 7 year old daughter, and she loves it. But before I would hand it over to her, I wanted to configure and upgrade it to Windows 10. It literally took me ALL DAY LONG to get this computer upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 because of an "insufficient space" problem, due to the fact that it has only 12 GB free on the SSD (solid state drive). After a LOT of reading, I finally found some info on the HP site that basically said that during the upgrade process, you have to insert a USB 32GB thumb drive, and tell the upgrade to use that to backup the old version of Windows. Of course, I didn't have an empty 32GB USB drive laying around, so I had to go buy one, on the day after Christmas, and that was no fun. But all-in-all, this is a nice little laptop... we love the color scheme, it's light, and boots up fast, thanks to the solid state hard drive.

Purchased this for a family member who isn't all that tech savy. They loved it and are very happy. It's lightweight yet durable. The option to use touchscreen or a touch pad is a great feature. I am not too fond about HP products, but they out did themselves here.

For those not looking to pay the extreme price of an apple iPad or the surface 3 pads. This little computer can do it. Just a tiny little laptop with a touch screen. For the price and size it's perfect for whatever needs to be done.

Our 9 year old grandson has been using tech for years. He has been using his parents I-Pads, etc, but wanted his own computer. This one fit the bill for size, specs and price. Easy to take with anywhere, play games and use for school work.

I purchased this HP for my daughter who recently started college. It has everything she needs (Office 365, removable storage, touch screen, etc). The CPU and RAM leave a little to be desired but it suits her needs just fine.

I bought 2 of these for my 6 year old kids. Mostly for them to use it for ABC mouse. It's a great product for that. Kid friendly and great touch screen. Plus free upgrade to Windows 10. Price and functional for our needs.

I love my hp touchscreen! It's very easy to use and has windows 10. The only negative is that you cannot add more memory to the device. It maxes out at 2GB and cannot be upgraded anymore. If you're just surfing the web and don't need a lot of applications this is a great item for you.

My Toshiba bit the dust after three years. This HP does what I need it to do. I transferred files with no problem. I like having the touch screen and since I travel a good bit, I like that it's not heavy.

I personally picked this laptop out of all the others displayed at best buy and am glad I did for the price it definitely brings it home. The processor is pretty fast not a gaming PC but definitely better that a net book or tablet. the touchscreen works great, I was never a fan of them but I have definitely taken to it since purchase. The only real downside is the storage capacity. more and more laptops now are going with a smaller flash storage to save money and that all well and good but if your a photoshopper and like to download movies 32gb goes fast, get an external to go with this. Oh and this laptop is very blue! my girlfriend says it's ugly but I actually love it, it's unique and stands out.

This computer, though it doesn't have much memory, does work well with what we need it for. With programs like dropbox, onedrive, googledocs, etc., you really don't need much memory for something like Word and PowerPoint. The touch screen is nice touch as well.

I really enjoy the 13.3 in screen size combined with the lightweight build of the Stream. Battery life is great, a huge improvement for me after having a laptop that could barely last an hour and a half off charger. Very portable, I was still able to download Office 365 and have space, and OneDrive is extremely useful, I enjoy the cloud that Microsoft has created. One major complaint - if you don't turn off the automatic HP and laptop updates while you're setting it up, your hard drive will fill up quickly and you'll have no control over it. You can only delete so much off of it. I had to factory reset my computer so I could wipe everything and keep it from happening again.

This is the second HP I've had. The color of this immediately caught my eye when I saw it on display, so honestly the color really sold me. I love the touch screen, and it's very simple to set up and work on. Definitely recommend!

The color of the laptop is what made me want it. After purchasing it I am happy with it. The only drawback is the memory which I knew going in but it should state that you cant update to the new windows because of the lack of memory.

This computer is a good, basic computer that does what my Middle School daughter needs it to do. The mouse is already not working properly, however - but it's a touch screen so not a big deal. Again, a good computer for the price!

This computer is worth every penny I spent. It is light weight, fast loading, and little kid friendly. I need this computer for school and it fits perfect light and enough GB for someone that isn't computer savvy or into computers like that. My daughter is 3 and she loves the touch screen because she doesn't get into trouble. I did my research and very happy with my purchase. The only thing it doesn't have a cd rom but that's ok.

We got this as an 'open box' unit at Best Buy. We were told it had Win 10 on it when they processed it. - It did not. Even with the 32GB hard drive, what little space you have to actually use is under 5GB in the end as the rest is taken up by the Operating System. This made it difficult to upgrade to Win 10 for my son to use at school. Because Win 8 is extremly difficult to use - touch screen or not. In the end, we did get it upgraded, and he is using it daily and he has very little problems with it. It is used for school etc and the only issues he does occasionally have is with the wireless. The antenna is not great but it works and gets a good signal and stays on 90% of the time. The battery is great, take it to school - he rarely needs his ac adapter for school anymore.
