Average Keyboard for the Price

Overall, this is your pretty basic, run-of-the-mill, wireless keyboard. I had the previous version, but was forced to upgrade because the wireless USB connector failed to connect when plugged into my PC's USB port, which obviously caused the keyboard to stop working completely. I've had this keyboard a little over 2 months now, and find it to be mediocre. It has a slim design, which I like. However, I find it annoying that the "caps lock" button doesn't light up or give any indication when it is on. This can be very frustrating when trying to enter encrypted, case-sensitive passwords. I was hoping HP would have upgraded this feature from the previous version of the keyboard. If I had done a little more research I probably would have learned that it hadn't been- so just a head's up. Battery life is good (at least it was on the last model I had so I would assume this one is similar)... Time will tell. I also like that it is supposedly "spill resistant". Haven't had to test this feature out yet, and hopefully NEVER will! :)

I bought this to replace my wired keyboard at work. The design of this HP keyboard is what drew me to it, but typing on it is what keeps me using it. Very easy and comfortable to use. Low profile design takes up a lot less space and looks nice on my desk.

Another great product from HP. I love the wireless 2.4 ghz feature. You can have the computer in one room, and transmit the display, the keyboard and the mouse in another room. I enjoy surfing the web in my living room and using the large panel tv for the screen and I do not have to purchase a laptop for the versatility.

I wish the home key nubs were raised more so that they could be detected by the fingers more easily. Also, for some reason, the CAPS LOCK light won't light up...

Keyboard touch is personal and for me, this is a keyboard with great touch. It has been working flawlessly since purchase and gets used all day every day. The wireless connection works well when I use it 15 feet away. Haven't tested it for max range.

Good value for the money BUT if you need all your usb ports, don't waste one on this. However, the batteries in this one last about 4-5 times longer than the original keyboard that came with my HP TouchSmart 310 All-In-One.

I got this keyboard because I love shallow and wide keys on my keyboard. I have wide palms and short fingers, so I need a bigger target to avoid fat fingering things all the time. I also hate feeling like I am pounding the living daylights out of keyboard. The short travel and light touch on the keys allows me to type faster and with greater accuracy. Plus, the entire office does hear me typing anymore. My only wish would be for a slightly wider keyboard with a tad more space between the keys. My hands feel unnaturally close when compared with my old 'standard' keyboard.

OMG! I'm in love with this keyboard..no loud key clicks when typing (so annoying)..The design is very sleek. I purchased two of these, one for PC and other for MAC. I just refuse to pay $$$ for the Apple keyboard with the numeric pad...This one does the trick!!

This keyboard looks stylish and well built in the store...Worth a few more buck$ ? O.K. I'll bite.. but, the board bit back! Out of the box and installed... the 10-key number pad did not function, It does not have a CAPS lock or NUMBER lock indicator on this board which made this keyboard quite annoying when trying to turn on 10-key number pad. Looks were quite deceiving in the case of this keyboard. I returned to store and did an exchange, but had the same result a second time. Key to success was when i bought a $10 USB keyboard..works perfect and has indicator lights for CAPS&NUMBER lock keys. HP tried to reinvent the keyboard and failed to "get er done!!"

Keyboard is responsive, quiet, never loses connection, and has a slightly more than medium firmness to the keypresses. It would be excellent if there were some indicators for the locks (e.g., caps and num) and a hardware switch to turn it on and off. I have two computers in my work space, one being a laptop that I have connected to this keyboard. Sometimes I want the laptop sleeping, but errant keypresses on this keyboard will wake it up. I've only had it for about two months, and I'm still on the original batteries, but can't comment otherwise on long-term durability yet.
