I only use this device with my MacBook Pro. It has the essentials that I need but it will heat up on you. My fear is that it will make some other device malfunction or set my Macbookon fire. I don’t trust it, but it makes sense only as a backup device to a smaller device that provides other cable like accessories to operate. It is not my go to device.

This works for both PC and MAC but it is a bit awkward. It’s also very pricey for what it is IMHO. I ended up returning it for a smaller portable version from Anker that also came with a carry pouch for about $30. It has everything I need minus the extras that this one had such as Ethernet and FireWire (who uses that anyway?). This also got very hot.

Hub with lots of ports; HDMI or VGA, but not both

This Hyperdrive Ultimate has lots of extra ports for those devices that are short on USB, HDMI, VGA or even SD card slots. It plugs easily into a USB C port which provides power for most of the ports. It does NOT come with a power supply, which may have been needed because I could only get either the VGA port or the HDMI port to work, but not both at the same time.
Best Buy was able to deliver a quantity with next day delivery, unlike another online company that wanted over a week.

This hub is a great device to have. It makes plugging devices into my MacBook Pro simple and convenient without reducing power or overloading on power. I can literally plug in everything, I need to work, into this hub including my power adapter.
A few cons.. (This is just me being highly "picky").
-Add another or two usb hubs (yes I use a lot of different drive)
-The actual cord on the device is a little short for ME.
-Because of the sleek design, it tends to slide a little. (maybe add some rubber feet to it)

Purchased to connect a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook to a monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Has been flawless. In fact with the ability to use this Chromebook with a monitor, it may become my daily home computer. Haven't checked out the ethernet or SD slots, but will assume they are fine.

Multiple ports all work well. This hub is better than all the others I’ve used. Worth buying even if you don’t need all the ports.

Very pleased with this product (note I got it at the clearance price of $71 instead of $119). You don't think you need 11 ports, but you would be surprised (and also helps you get some runway out of those old DP or VGA cables you have buried in your closet).

Works perfectly for a new Macbook Pro 2020. Allows all of my art department employees to easily setup home docking stations with a multi-monitor setup and extra USB ports for standard USB devices as the new 2020 Macboook Pro only comes with USB Type-C ports onboard.

Bought during Thanks Giving sale, and very happy with the numerous connections it offers, it gives peace of mind and feel confident when traveling to unknown locations not worrying about the connectivity limitations present with MacBook Pro offering only USB C. Happy with this product.

Bought this to add more easy access ports for my laptop. Was quick to install and everything port works, love the fact it has card readers and adds an additional vga port. Only issue I had is the type c cord it really short, and I can't find extensions.

This hub was exactly what I was looking for and has been perfect. It is used for a laptop that use USB-c for charging and allows the laptop to still charge while connecting to an external monitor via USB-c

Hub connects easily to the surface go I have and lets me use 2 monitors, using the HDMI and a USB to HDMI connector. the only thing I do not like about it is the connection cable that connects ot the USB-C on the surface is quite short. Other than it is great ...

This docking station has plenty of ports and is super easy to use. My wife and I both attend school and work from home on our PC's. Connecting our different laptops to our entire workstation is as easy as plugging in a cord - LITERALLY!

Laptops, even ones for gaming, have a very limited number of connections. I use my gaming laptop for a multitude of activities, to include podcasts, and this little beauty helped me get all my gadgets hooked up. I love it!

Very nice, I'm not sure if I would recommend using this for a MacBook pro and one, because it seems to have a problem hooking up with the ethernet even when I apply power to it going to the Mac

A tad janky

Works well but it can be a bit janky. Requires some fangling of unplugging and plugging back in. Also, it is not powered since you can only plug so much into it. However, for a USB C docking station, this is the best that I have seen that will not damage a Mac!
