First things first this PC is a beast with the i7 9800k 2080ti runs all my games ultra setting 4k... and the case is amazing with the side panel LCD. Kind of a pain to get going like you want it at first but once you get Rainmeter and wallpaper Engine its freaking awesome. Now the cons. The one in bestbuy in display had a top exhaust fan and a MSI RTX2080ti and built in wifi on the motherboard and nice white heat sync on the Ram and mine had totally different stuff. Mine had Zotac RTX2080ti and ugly green ram and no exhaust fan on top. Was very disappointed at first until I got it all hooked up and started playing games on it I was blown away by its speed, since I was coming from a overheating alienware 17 r5 i9 1080oc the snowblind smokes it big time and looks great doing it and it stays pretty cool on CPU and GPU. It idles at around 40c in CPU and 50c on GPU I think I hit a max of 78c on CPU and 79c on the GPU playing metro exodus 4k ultra setting with raytracing on ultra at 80fps low 60s... beast of a gaming machine, I love it will write another review if anything changes. I give it a 9/10 go buy one if ya dont wanna build it yourself

Really nice NZXT PC case (Up-gradable). Really fast CPU Intel i7-9700K, 16GB of 2666MHz Adata (good quality) Memory. A NVIDIA RTX2080Ti graphics with 11GB of DDR6. This PC is very fast. I put a few SSD 1TB drives to speed up and expand my storage space. Startup and shutdowns are almost execute instantaneously. IBUYPOWER has an excellent support staff willing to take care of anything not working properly or just to ask questions. Very impressed.

This computer is an absolute beast! Everything I throw at in 4K it handles it well. Black Desert Online Remastered, Anthem, Battlefield 5, and any Oculus Rift game. Doesn’t matter the LCD screen on the side is okay. Most the time I just leave it white so I can see that monster RTX 2080 TI! which retails at about 1300-1500$ The color scheme inside could be better. The 16gb ddr4 ram is green and the ssd has green on it too. Should be all black and white. Not a big deal though it’s well worth it. Overall I love my SnowBlind 956 Computer! Had a couple problems with the contents and the promo that showed up after I spent $2643. After getting in touch with the right department everything worked out. Was sent the correct cord DVI to DisplayPort for side panel by IBUYPOWER and Best Buy took care of me and sent me two digital codes for Anthem and Battlefield 5.

Great computer, for the price it could have some more SSD space & more ram and the correct cord in the box. Awesome GPU, mainly what makes it cost so much, You’ll need a display port - DVI cable if you want to use the screen on the tower it’s self, they supply a DVI-DVI but you don’t have a DVI port on this video card.

I usually build my own computers but when I saw that thing on bestbuy's display I was hooked, the side panel is amazing, not bad value either including a gigabyte 2080ti.
If you havent seen this thing live, find a store that has it and go drool :) you will be hooked

Note: I tried my best to not rate this product based off how badly Best Buy handled my replacement purchase (more on that later), but on the product itself.
The first unit included a MSI Z370-A Pro motherboard, ADATA 2666 speed DDR4 (8gb x 2) and a triple fan Zotac AMP edition 2080 ti. Honestly the ram is usable and perfectly fine. That said its ugly with just an exposed green board (looks like its out of a PC from the 90s) so if you value aesthetics (which you should if you are spending some of you money on this case) you'll want to upgrade to something else.
As stated the first unit I had included a Zotac triple fan AMP 2080 ti. Its long.... very long. About 12 inches. I never got to bench the unit because of another issue I'll mention later. The second unit I got and kept included an MSI dual fan Ventus. The Ventus is only 10 inches, but thicker as it has better heat pipes along with the fans. This is more of a problem than the Zotac because of one area, the location of the onboard SATA ports for 1 and 2. The Ventus actually blocks those ports. This unit was actually built with the SSD connected to port 1, effectively the Ventus was using the connector as support! Thats not good (see photo). I moved the SATA connectors to ports 3 and 4, but this was actually mandatory for another reason. The mobo disables SATA 1 if you use an M.2 drive for which I did upgrade as well to be my boot drive. So yes, its bad the Ventus blocks Sata port 1, but it doesn't matter if you install an M.2 based drive because it would have been disabled anyways. Just irritating they installed it there in the placed and put pressure on the mobo and GPU.
Onto the mobo - The mobo is not horrible, its just bare-bones for gaming. So you can overclock the CPU. I was able to get 4.9-5.0ghz, but others seem to manage 5.1. But as-is you shouldn't use it for long periods at that speed. The stock CPU cooler is relatively large, but also relatively inefficient. Using the preloaded Genie 4 OC software brought it up to around 4.8ghz, but the temps were 75 Celsius while playing Overwatch. Acceptable technically, but not for me. Really the mobo is perfectly fine for being budget and won't hold you back in the most critical metric, gaming itself, but I'd have really loved an optical out on-board to keep me from having to buy a separate sound card.
You'll find the included wifi adapter is routed internally via USB and just zip-tied to the case. Its also very basic and 600AC based. Something you wouldn't really want to play fast paced online games on, but it gets the job done (a running motto here).
There is no Bluetooth adapter included, but that does free you to buy your own.
The 1tb HHD and 240gb SSD (a WD Green drive) are passable, but with SSDs dropping you'll be upgrading the SSD sooner rather than later. Full disclosure: I upgraded the ram, the sound card, SSD and installed an NVME M.2 before I even set it up initially.
Finally the case. Its pretty awesome and if you've never seen something similar, you'll think we're in the future. That said, my first unit had a bad screen with a blue line vertical line straight through (the monitor is installed sideways, thus why its horizontal in the photo). My second unit was perfect except for one glaring oversight mentioned in another review: The second unit came with the wrong patch cable. This computer requires a DVI to DisplayPort (or DVI to HDMI) cable, but they included a DVI to DVI one. Mind you the correct cable did come with my first unit that had a Zotac card, but the second unit with a Ventus did not.
This brings up my gripe with Best Buy. When I came to pick up the second unit after returning the first I did so in-store at their Geek Squad testing center. When it was discovered the included cable was the wrong one and that I couldn't test the case display itself, I was offered to go to the cable section and find one off the shelf to test. Best Buy did not have a DVI to DP cable, but they did have a DVI to HDMI which was fine for testing (the side display only has DVI and VGA while the GPU has either). So we opened it up, plugged it in and everything was A-OK. I asked if I could keep the cable and was told no, "Contact iBuyPower to have them replace it". That obviously reasonable enough on paper if I was home, but I was in-store with a cable we already opened so it couldn't even be sold as new anymore. They didn't even offer to sell me the cable for a used price. Horrible service for dropping $2,500+ (after tax). I mean, I was a Best Buy Elite Plus member before this purchase so I obviously spend a lot here and they act like a cable to make my purchase whole is too much to ask? Thats seriously bad judgement and employees should be trained better on customer service or worse, Best Buy needs to empower them to make these calls without fearing their jobs.
So TL : DR.... its a pretty awesome rig after you upgrade the ram, and SSDs, but that comes out to around $2800 after tax and even more if you need Bluetooth and better sound options. Thats not an exceptionally competitive price point at that level, but the case with its mighty fine display for me, make up for it. If you dont care for this case then do not bother with this system. You can find alternates that most likely won't need to be upgraded out of the box.
Some last notes: While researching I found that the mobo BIOS needs to be updated to be able to use the included i7-9700K. I reason the fact others were having super bad experiences is they did not bother to flash the BIOS which is one of the first things you should always do. I did not dock the score because of this as its just best practices to always download the newest drivers when you have a new system - so make sure you do it!
The description for this system is wrong on many areas, but I'll clarify somethings about I/O:
Number of USB Ports (Total)
6 (actually its 8)
Number of USB 2.0 Type A Ports
2
Number of USB 3.0 Type A Ports
4 (actually its 6, 4 in the rear and 2 in the front)
Number of HDMI Outputs (Total)
1 (on the GPU)
Number Of DVI Ports
1 (Zero. The only DVI port is for the side panel monitor and is an input not an output. The GPU does not have DVI)
Number of DisplayPort Outputs (Total)
2 (3, one of which will be taken by the side panel display leaving 2 for external displays)
There is also a USB-C display port on the GPU. This is NOT Thunderbolt 3. It outputs as another display using USB ALT modes for Display ports or HDMI. So you can use it as a monitor out with the appropriate cable, but its not for other data!
That said, none are 3.1 spec and you'll have to buy another expansion PCIe card if you need those.

first pc came with an asrock z370 motherboard and gigabyte zotac triple fan GPU. that gpu is huge and had noticeable sag, not ibuypowers fault. but returned that unit cuz the lcd side panel had a weird flickering effect on certain wallpapers.
as for the 2nd pc the one I kept came with msi z370 pro motherboard which I like better cuz had an additional usb port at back and with msi ventus dual fan GPU. not as long as the zotac one but very thick with no noticeable sag if any, so looks nicer.
the cooler that came with both pc was a deepcool 400 which at idle and low cpu usage was fine however while playing apex legends would hit 80-85 which was unacceptable. replaced with corsair h100i 240mm aio and is amazing! now wont go over 55 degrees.
however when doing this front mounted aio the airflow with in the case was pretty much nonexistent causing the gpu to get really hot hitting 80 degrees at times. so I ended up removing the cable management bar to run a push/pull fan config and that made a huge difference along with addition of corsair ll rgb fans and commander pro for precise fan control. adding a 140 ll rgb fan to top of case as exhaust helped a lot too. temps are now perfect.
I plan to swap out the power supply very soon as well cuz its some no name brand and doesn't have enough sata ports since I used them all for the corsair accessories. I replaced the hideous green ram sticks with white corsair rgb ones whick look amazing and main os ssd as well with a Samsung 1tb 970 evo drive.
in conclusion its a great reliable pc however I made a ton of changes cuz the cooling out of the box was pretty bad. if bought when on sale its a great deal. but they def save money on the no name powersupply and horrible case fans and cpu cooler.
its pretty much a custom pc at this point and woulda saved money if I were to just bought the parts and build myself, but the case is really really nice the lcd panel looks amazing and I love just running my gpu and cpu temps on the case with out having to tab out or use another monitor.

This PC is an absolute powerhouse and perfect for anyone who wants an elite gaming PC without worrying how to build or what parts to select. The only knock on this PC is it does not have liquid cool and the memory is not that great. However their is an extra SSD slot to easily upgrade the memory. Liquid cool is not currently an issue as the the PC is so powerful it is unlikely to even activate the fan for the graphics card. In the future it will need to be upgraded to meet the demands of newer software and games. The first one I bought received a boot error within 30 days, bestbuy replaced it with no issue. Thankfully I did not anything saved that couldn't be lost. I also back up everything to an external hard drive which I recommend. Because their is no cd drive I could not load the boot disk which would have corrected the problem. I have since purchased an external one for 30 dollars. Beside that hickup this pc has not let me down at all. It boots lightning fast and runs games on ultra high settings around 90fps such as elder scrolls online and battlefield V. The pc runs fortnite at around 500 fps. I have Adobe pro editing software and the software runs smooth with no lag. I am not disappointed at all with this PC and shouldn't need an upgrade for at least 5 yearsnas long as the hardware holds up. I have it 4 stars for the low memory and not having liquid cool.

I bought this computer November 16, 2019. Got it home and next day unboxed it. It was harder to see where to install the monitor cable. The computer is white but the back of the video card is black and was hard to find. The case fits very tight and on the HDMI cable was hard to push all the way in because of the case. The side of the case of the case is supposed to display some information and there is a cable supplied for that purpose but no directions on how to hook it up so I will need to look it up on the internet. On that note when I finally did get the monitor hook up figured out and got the computer on, I got an error message that there was in error installing windows. I called Ibuypower tech support and was on hold for 2 hours. I gave up and looked it up online. I'm not the savviest computer guy and the solution I found required going into the registry editor and had to reset a value from 1 to 3. Voila! it worked and this has been a great computer since. It is so fast and games look great. One thing I had to figure out was how to install games not to the SSD C drive but to the mechanical D drive. Steam has a function that allows you to direct what drive to install games to and it has worked great. My old dog Ravenshield works great on windows 10 and even looks great on this rig. Sniper Elite 4 used to take 5 or so minutes to load on my older computer, it loaded in less than 3 seconds on this one. It is a very good computer and is super quiet. I love the computer but the set up was a bear and tech support was inaccessible. The full list price of $2,499 would have scared me off but Best Buy had it $500 off and I feel at that price it is a great value.

This PC is great and looks amazing. The most powerful PC I've ever owned. However there are a few things that I needed to do to fully enjoy this PC. I had to call to get a dvi to HDMI cord for the LCD side panel to work and I also had to update the bios for the cpu to run as it should. Also, there weren't any instructions as to how to use the LCD side panel, but all it takes is a Google search. I upgraded the CPU cooler to a deep cool captain 120ex thinking that I would be able to mount the radiator to the rear exhaust or top exhaust, but the motherboard and the side panel got in the way so I just put it in the front. Also switched out the ram to white Corsair vengeance 16gb 3200mhz ram. In the end, it was a bit of a hassle figuring out how to use the LCD panel, but it was well worth it and I love it.

Just picked her up this morning, im about 5 hours in with some game testing etc.
to preface i usually build my own systems etc...just didn't for whatever reason want to this go around. Ive always wanted a snowblind and said screw it... im gonna get what I want.
I got the Snowblind 956
the processor & gpu are insane. ive tested z1, apex, csgo all on high and just flawless...like ive been missing out.
the ONLY complaint I have (which take as you'd like...)- I consider it minor, others might be super mad etc... but w the 956 model...the 2080 ti included does not have a dvi... in order for the snowblind monitor on the side panel to run you need to connect it via vga or dvi from the little video panel thats included (this will make more sense if/when you see how a snowblind is configured).
So the PC came with a dvi to a dvi...basically useless for me, but with how today is I just grabbed one from amazon for like 7.99. if thats going to be my only complain, ill gladly take it.
i was initially weary of the ram but it seems pretty dang fast...ill ultimately upgrade but don't need to stress over it. Will eventually go liquid cooled as well. I don't consider myself that insane with drawing heat etc, so again- not too stressed or feel rushed to get it done.
some instructions for the actual snowblind component of it would be fantastic for future customers - google is awesome and all but i feel like it would cut down on ibuypowers helpdesk calls by alot. I called today and consider myself pretty tech savvy. To be fair (to myself, LOL), I did figure out the issue prior to IBP calling me back, woot woot. I called them to figure out how to get the snowblind setup- just an fyi. The callback from IBP was super fast as well, just to note.
So basically going through those mixed emotions prior to purchase - excited, weary, nervous, super excited, anxious, and again excitement.
After my purchase and tinkering around all afternoon...i love her so far. Obviously the long haul, we will see, but out of the box and booted right up...freakin awesome.

SO much potential, SO many problems

Where do I start. Okay, first some info. I am an MCP, and MCSE, and have owned a computer business for nearly 20 years. I have wanted a Snowblind since it was announce, but have never pulled the trigger because I always build my own systems. When this system went on sale with a 2080Ti I had to go for it. I drove 3 hours to a store and bought the system. I had read that the cable to connect the side panel to the graphics card was the wrong one, so I opened the computer at the store. It was damaged. The side panel was bent out about an inch at the bottom. So they gave me another one. It looked good. I brought it home, fired it up and the side panel was covered in what looked like oil. During shipping the panel was pressed against the packing material and it damaged the side window. Problem one, but understandable. Once booted, I decided to install my programs and data. Nope. Nothing would download from any website. I looked and realized that the wrong drivers were installed for the system. Example, it had programs and drivers for an Asus motherboard, but it had an MSI motherboard. Not GPU drivers at all, no tuning software, nothing. Called iBuyPower and was told to wipe and reload Windows which I did. Upon firing everything back up it seemed good. Went to overclock the 9700k and guess what? It is a Z370 motherboard. It doesn't push enough power to effectively overclock the CPU. Called iBuyPower yesterday to get them to ship me a side panel so I can replace the damaged one. They want me to send the one on it in, then they will ship one to me. Nevermind that we have cats and an open computer is an invitation for paws as fans look like toys to them. Finally Phillip (the one bright spot in this whole thing) managed to get them to send me one while securing a hold on my credit card. That was very cool. He was super nice, I really liked him a lot. After talking to Phillip, the system blue screened. When booting back up there were no boot devices present. Spent a half an hour getting the system to where it would boot and when it did come up the system had lines through my monitor, side panel, and a second monitor I tried. Contacted the GPU manufacture and they said it was a bad GPU or Motherboard PCI port. Oh, I forgot the best thing. When calling iBuyPower, the serial number on the system, and on the box match, but their serial number program had issues wrong serials, so they saw this SnowBlind as a fallout PC in their system. That was the straw.
I am building a new system this week. If you don't have the skills to do so, then I recommend the Alienware Aurora R8. Yes, it is a Dell, but it also has the Dell in home warranty so if something goes wrong, then they will come to you.
Don't be suckered by the specs and the price. The PSU is VERY cheap. The Ram is a joke. The Motherboard is a cheap under powered motherboard. The 9700k and the 2080Ti are the only parts worth anything in this. Oh, and the side panel is cool, but needs 3rd party software to work. No instructions on how to use it, and is very difficult to see on most items. Cool idea, but would need a completely white interior to really work well.

This gaming PC is meant for people who want to play games at high to ultra settings. If you purchase a Snowblind that has a GPU without a DVI ports you probably will not receive the proper cable for the LCD screen on the side of the case. Ibuypower will send you the proper cable, but it took almost a week just to get them to send the proper cable as their customer service system is slow. The LCD panel on the side of the machine was not too complicated to set up, but did require a few Google searches since there is no directions in the box. It requires a piece of software called Rainmeter. After putting it on the side of the LCD panel and testing the software with a bunch of different configurations I found the side panel to be kind of useless since it's too hard to see anything on the panel unless it is perfectly angled towards you. Parts in the PC are dependent on what they have in stock at the time so if you wanted a specific brand of GPU or motherboard you are out of luck. I got a Zotac RTX 2080 Ti which is actually a very high quality card. If you purchase this device make sure to download it's corresponding software from the manufacturer so that you have better control over how the device works. The Zotac card does not turn it's fans on for cooling until it reaches around 66°C which means it runs really hot. With a few small tweaks to the system you can have it running better than out of the box. My biggest issue with this PC is it's cabling. The wires look like an absolute mess and adding a device to the PC was an absolute pain. 3 stars does not mean this is a bad PC. I would recommend it to people especially if it was on sale. I just felt after using it for a few weeks that it could be higher quality for a device in the $2000 range.

When i first bought this PC i was very excited to get to use it and see what RTX had to offer. So the PC arrived and i went and opened the box, everything seemed fine at first but as soon a i connected my monitor to the PC it was all down hill from there. First and main problem... FAULTY GRAPHICS CARD RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, ARTIFACTING ALL OVER THE SCREEN but only when i was in 1920x1080. No matter how hard i tried to get new driver installed onto the graphics card, nothing worked. so i called best buy and they were able to send me a replacement and i took the faulty one back to the store.. so my new one was working fine, so i decide im going to upgrade the stock cooler with something water cooled (corsair H60) and i proceed to take off the stock fan cooler and to my shock... I SEE ON THE COPPER OF THE COOLER, WHERE THE COOLER AND THE CPU MEET, A STICKER THAT SAYS "WARNING, REMOVE BEFORE INSTALLATION" WITH THERMAL PASTE JUST PLASTERED ALL OVER IT, THEY DIDNT EVEN TAKE OFF THE PROTECTIVE STICKER!! THEY JUST PUT THERMAL PASTE ON IT AND SAID "YUP.. THAT WILL DO".. so trying to brush that off to the side i decided to try and get over it and be thankful i didnt do any kind of heavy gaming or video editing on the pc. So after that everything seemed fine untill about the 29TH DAY of me having it, the same thing happens again.... FAULTY GRAPHICS CARD. Blue screens.. artifacts and sometimes just nothing at all, just a black screen.. i will not be trying for a 3rd, ITS LIKE A SLAP IN THE FACE! i knew i shouldnt have gone prebuilt and should have just built myself but thats not my biggest regret, my biggest regret is thinking that IBUYPOWER could actually put out a decent product.

First have to say very happy with the purchase and would buy again. Everything worked straight out of the box with no issues. The motherboard, video card and case were just awesome. The included 16GB memory is probably enough for most but I upgraded mine to 64GB due to some specific application needs. Where I think this falls short is with the included hard drives. For the $2899 price tag, the drives were very entry level, this was my biggest disappointment. I ended up upgrading both the SSD and SATA drives. Even with all the upgrades I would still recommend the PC. The LCD side panel is pretty cool, unfortunately I changed the OS from Windows to Linux and haven't figured out how to get the panel to work now in Linux.

Came with msi z730-pro motherboard, zotac 2080ti, WD green 240 gb SSD (about $42 on amazon), deep cool heatsink, no-name 16 gb ddr-4 ram. Case is nice and easy to open. Haven't setup the LCD screen on it yet but saw it on display and when it works its actually great. I did not receive a dust filter for the top vent and will be calling ibuypower regarding this. Otherwise it's a great price for the parts you get, however if you're playing any game like assasin's creed this thing will generate a ton of heat-the heatsink isn't very good. I will be installing a liquid cooling unit. I took advantage of the $150 price drop and bestbuy was great to give me the discount. All-in-all for the price you won't be able to find a better deal even if you tried to assemble it yourself and buy all the parts individually as the parts individually are worth more than the price of the computer as it is currently listed at 2349.

Bought this computer when it was on sale and came with a few free games that utilize the raytracing in the new RTX cards.
GPU was damaged and had to get a replacement from IBP. Took about a week to get and since I've gotten it, I've had zero complaints about this computer.
Graphics are amazing, upgrading from an old computer with a 1070 in it. My system came with a Gigabyte 2080ti which is very quiet so far.
The LCD screen on the side of the tower is a wonderful touch and fun to play around with.
Motherboard is decent, an MSI z370 Pro. RAM, SSD, and HDD are ok as well.
PSU could be a bit better and will likely upgrade that in the near future.
Overall, loving it. Great buy, especially if on sale and with free games promo.
