I purchased to work with Apple Home and it has been reliable when working with the Home app. Setup is a bit more involved than some of my other smart home products.

So far the plug/switch has worked great. Setup was just a little tricky as far as connecting to wifi but overall it was fast. I currently have two, one for a lamp and the other on a Christmas tree. If you use HomeKit, they sync well with other smart devices.

The product is alright. Does what is promises. Phone app could be a lot better. Shipping on the order was slow, given shipping speeds of other retailers.

The outlet is very reliable and the app is intuitive to use with many features.

This is great smart switch to get started in home automation. The documentation is a bit sparse though. Make sure you have Bluetooth, iCloud, and iCloud keychain turned on before the installation process begins. Also, this device cannot operate on the 5GZ spectrum. Only the 2.4 GHZ spectrum. So also make sure your phone/tablet is connected to the same 2.4 GHZ signal that the device will be attached to. Once all of those criteria's are satisfied, installation should go smoothly. This smart switch allows you to control the device connected to it when you are also outside of your home. Better yet, it does this without the need of an Apple TV, or in the case of IOS 10, without an iPad being on to fully the connection through. Many other smart switches need an Apple TV to be on your home network for remote connectivity to function. But this iDevices smart switch does not need an Apple TV to be on your network for you to be able to control it outside your house. Also, you can setup schedules for the switch to turn on and off at varies times of the day. These schedules are stored on the switch itself, so if your internet connection goes down, the schedules will continue to execute. The schedule software in the app is pretty sophisticated. You can setup a schedule to have the thing connected to the switch come on at a different time every day, or skip any day(s) of the week. Lastly, it works with the Amazon Echo, so you can say: "Alexa, turn on the dining room lamp", and the lamp will turn on. All in all, it's a great device

These plugs will respond to commands maybe 25% of the time. Returned it.

I just recently bought this product (my first smart home product ever). I was looking for something that's integrated with Apple HomeKit. Not only this product is integrated w/ HomeKit, it's also integrated with Amazon Eco (Alexa) and may be used w/ both Siri and Alexa any time. The App for the iOS is a little complicated at first, but still easy to learn. I can turn on/off and track the connected appliance/light from anywhere on and off of my home network and w/o using a hub or Apple TV. I believe there is also an Android app available. Installation was straight forward. Make sure to update the firmware before connecting your appliance. Oh an here's a tip to make sure installation is solid: when you are entering the unique code into the app to pair the device, don't use the camera! Enter the code manually yourself (someone online suggested this). So far I am very happy with it. Will update this if anything changes.
