It's fine, my only issue is the fact that my factory deck was textured so that it would get all oily finger prints. I wish this was the same.
The installer was very nice and my car was in the exact same shape as when I brought it in. No wire pieces on the floor etc. I have had previous installations where that was an issue(not at best buy though)

I arrived earlier and the gentleman at the desk who was not the installer I was scheduled to meet began the installation. I came back 45 mins later and it was done. He helped me setup the bluetooth and then I went on my way. Quick and painless

The gentlemen that took care of the installation of my car stereo was great. He explained everything to me, how it works, etc.. He was very thorough in everything he did. I would highly recommend them to anyone purchasing a car stereo (which I also purchased from Best Buy) that needs installation.

I ordered a new stereo for my 2004 Honda Pilot thru bestbuy.com. The stereo I bought offered free installation, which was great considering I was ordering from Afghanistan for my wife. I purchased all of the adapters and installation kit the website recommended for my particular installation and booked the first available installation (which was approximately 2 weeks from then). I sent my wife the appointment information and I thought she would be all set to arrive on the day of the appointment, drop the vehicle, browse Best Buy (and most likely spend more money), and pick up her new ride with Bluetooth without hassle in about an hour. Unfortunately, it didn’t go quite that smoothly. When she dropped the vehicle the technician asked her where the stereo she bought was. Obviously, she had no idea since I made the arrangements. He rudely implied that it wasn’t his job and sent her into the store to track down the items. Nowhere in my order information did it mention she would have to do this. The confirmation email just said, my “In-store appointment items” would be ready for my appointment time. When she finally tracked down the items to be installed, the technician stated something to the effect of, “You know you’re going to lose your steering wheel controls and subwoofer if I install this, right?” My wife (and I) had no idea. If I had known, I would’ve purchased the extra items required for a “complete” installation. I had no idea and was never prompted by the website. It told me I needed other adapters, which I bought, but not those. The tech stated that the appointment was not booked for a long enough period of time to be able to do those extra things. Since my wife was leaving in 3 days to drive cross-country with my daughters to see their grandparents and attend a wedding in this nearly classic (16 year old) vehicle I wanted her to at least have the comforts of being able to stream music to pass the hours and miles. Of course, the next available time they could get the vehicle in was over a week from that date. Luckily, knowing my wife was going to this appointment I found some WiFi in Afghanistan and prepared to help her if she had any issues. When I got her FaceTime call 10 min into the appointment time I figured she was browsing the aisles and wanted to talk to pass the time. I was wrong... She asked me what she should do. I had her ask to see if the stereo would function without the steering wheel controls and subwoofer attached. After finding out, yes it would, I recommended she go ahead with the install, which she did. The technician stated to my wife that she “should’ve called ahead to discuss the installation to make sure everything was set and all of the parts required were purchased.” It definitely DIDN’T mention that in the email confirmation I received or I would’ve told her to call. My wife and I were worried the sound quality would be much less satisfying that the original stereo without the subwoofer. Fortunately, the sound quality from the new stereo through the remaining stock speakers is good enough (great actually) that my wife hardly misses the sub. Since she mainly streams from her phone which connects automatically when she starts the car, she hardly misses the steering wheel controls but still has to take her eyes off the road momentarily to adjust volume or skip tracks from the head unit instead of by instinctive touch of the steering wheel controls. When I return from Afghanistan next year I will likely bring the vehicle back to Best Buy to add those additional functions but I WILL NOT send my wife back there again for a repeat experience. I will rate the Sony stereo separately. Happy wife = 5 stars!

I had to have my stereo radio removed from my old truck and put into my new car I got a EZ appointment the guys did a great job got me in before my appointment time removed the stereo for my truck and put it in my car in a short amount of time very good service for knowledgeable people I would recommend this to my friends

All aspects of the install were very good except for the fact that the installer called in sick and the replacement could not come in until 45 minutes after my appointment. Otherwise the process went well and the stereo works great. The installer did go over in detail the operation of the stereo and answered all of my questions. He also gave me a refund for an item that he did not need for the install.

The geek squad Car audio member at the signal hill location is knowledgeable and friendly. He got the radio installed perfectly and went over all the controls and how to use before you leave. Also let’s you know his hours in case you have any questions or problems

I do like the stereo, but i must say I miss the old feature in there of the " Scan" feature which would search radio stations by a push of a button and would continue going through stations until it landed on the one I liked, and then you would push the scan button again to stop it from searching. Other than that, i enjoy the stereo.

My scheduled install late as there were problems with one scheduled before mine. The reason for the late install were explained and I am glad I had other things to do while it was completed. Overall, I am very happy with the installation. Very professional and looks like an original car audio receiver. The installer also gave me a helpful tutorial.

The installation techs were very careful with my vehicle during the installation process and even looked at my car after the installation due to a problem I had with my gas gauge not working correctly. they were very professional and respectful.

I purchased a car stereo for my son and had it installed at Best Buy. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and the man (can't remember his name) was VERY knowledgeable! He was even able to fix an existing problem that a small audio shop was unable to do. Very pleased and best of all the install was completely affordable!
I would recommend this to a friend

The installation agent was great. He was very through in explaining how to use my cat radio after he installed it. Also, he was right on time in opening the shop area in order to start working on my installation. He was very careful while working in my car.

As usual, the installer at Best Buy did a wonderful job. The radio was installed in a timely manner and the installer showed us how everything worked. We had to come back for an explanation of one of the features and he cheerfully (that's right, cheerfully!) straightened us out on what we were doing wrong. Love the Best Buy!

Had new stereo for teenage son and it was well worth price! Appointment set up= smooth, Care and explanation of unit= fantastic, Aftermarket appearance= seamless. Teenage son reaction= HAPPY, IMPRESSED.
Going back again for install someday. Love it!

The installer did a fantastic job. His name was Pat, he took pride in his work and he also took alot of time explaining the unit and how to operate, I don't think you could find a better tech than him.

Because I was traveling, the friendly technicians rallied to get my installation completed before going home. They suggested that I take in a movie across the parking lot. I did and when I returned the installation was complete. They gave me a quick tutorial and I was off. Thanks Best Buy techs.

It took a few times....but it seems that the radio amp and speakers are all working fairly well . It was a long wait due mainly to covid and my work schedule. Although when I did have an issue I went to store director and it was resolved.

The install guy did an awesome job !! I was going to do it myself but, I'm glad I had them do it. they installed a microphone to use your phone via blue tooth. they had my old radio out and new one in quick!!
