Well what can I say… I purchase the Insignia 55’ Qled 4k tv for my bedroom. I need a bigger tv since my room is bigger. I was looking at Samsung and Lg Qled Oled tvs when I ran across this tv at bestbuy for $399.
I was very hesitant to buy this tv because of the low price and the name but I said for $400 dollars which was half the price of Samsung and Lg so I took the chance and boy I am very glad that I did.
I normally don’t write reviews but I’m sure there are people like me who will be hesitant because of the name and would probably pass because of it. But let me tell you that it’s definitely worth the try. Upon turning on the tv right was not please at all. The picture quality out the box was very bright and the color was saturated tremendously. I was so ready to pack it back up and return it. But something told me to try to adjust the pricture quality. That’s exactly what I did. I put on a 4k movie (coming to America) which has amazing Ing colors I went to each picture setting 1 at a time adjusting contrast, color, tint and sharpness. Noting where it was at first then adjusting to my liking but I still wasn’t satisfied until I got into the advance settings. This is where you really get the best picture quality out of this tv. There’s so many adjustment within this setting that will make this tv come alive to your liking. You jus have to be patience and compare different settings then you’ll see the big difference in picture quality. I am very satisfied at this point that I got a Qled tv for $399 and it’s no difference from the high end brands. But please note that you done get all the bells and whistle like the higher end tvs but if you’re on a budget this can work for you. The remote is nothing more than a fire stick remote. No numbers but if every had a fire stick you’ll be ok. I can’t comment on the sound because I hook it up to my sound bar but overall everything is okay

I got this on sale for $400 on Black Friday and for that price this tv is a great deal! That being said there’s 2 minor things that don’t make it perfect in my opinion. My Best Buy doesn’t have this TV on display so I looked at lots of pictures online. Something I didn’t notice online that I do notice in person is the power button protrudes out on the bottom left side. Not a huge deal breaker just would've looked a lot better if it didn’t stick out like that. Another thing is after setting it up I watched some YouTube videos and realized the TV comes setup with the saturation too high making all the videos look unrealistically brightly colored. This is an easy fix by going into the settings and they actually have a “Natural” display setting that makes the colors look much more realistic. Other than those 2 minor downsides this TV is amazing I love how thin the border is makes it look so sleek. And I was actually surprised that the legs and part of the back of TV are metal which makes it feel very sturdy and premium. (Although in my picture I ended up having to use a single universal TV stand instead of the legs as my entertainment center wasn’t big enough for the 2 legs). And the sound is much better than any other TV I’ve ever had! Overall a great TV for the price and the picture quality is crystal clear!

I can’t say enough good things as this price point. I have it on my patio and viso and Samsung TVs at higher price points haven’t been and bright or clear this review is after several months after it being installed. Above mentioned tv’s the screen in the afternoon couldn’t been seen with the same glare that’s in the photo.

I love the Insignia 55'' F50 4K Smart Fire TV! The picture is crystal clear! I can tell that the lighting is enhanced as it is bright complemented by deep blacks that maintain their detail! The screen size seems even larger because visual acuity makes everything look bigger, brighter and just better! I hung my TV on the wall using a full motion mount and it looks fantastic! The apps were easy to load and navigate through using the remote! I enjoy this TV so much that I purchased 3 F50 televisions for my home!

We really enjoy this tv. Picture quality is outstanding, and compared to the f30 series 50” we bought for our son, this f50 series 55” comes with noticeable improvements (for only $100 more for Black Friday!) . Biggest is the Dolby vision - watching Disney+ on this tv is wayyyy better than the other tv. Also, picture settings for color/contrast have more options to adjust how you enjoy them. Sound is good for built in speakers, and the tv is “smart” enough to know to change the hdmi input for when I’m using the game console or direct tv box.
Being an amazon fire tv, it works very well with a prime membership, lots of apps already ready to go, quick to download other apps (HBO max, for example), and signing in is easy as well! Most apps I can just open the app on my phone and tv sees that and signs me in on the tv. Crispy pictures with no lag or pixelation when watching live sports as well - the SUPERBOWL WAS AWESOME TO WATCH!

Excellent tv and i returned it because i'm very good with the F30. I saved money with a open box F30 and with the difference in price F30 for me. My expensive Samsung quit after 16 months. Save your money go with a Insignia and you will be happy.

Given how much this costs, it’s a fine television. It’s bright, the picture is bursting with color, it’s sharp, and the Amazon operating system is quick. No complaints here. And Insignia has been a good brand for my family and me. Bought it for my mom and she loves it.

This was a good buy as we relocated. Here’s what we think after 2 years
1. Value for money 5/5
2. Picture quality 4/5
Brightness 3/5
3. Sound quality 4/5
4. Default settings for any user:2/5 we had to work a lot get everything right picture and sound quality wise
5. Remote and Alexa connectivity: 3/5 sometimes it fails to identify the remote when we switch on.
6. Default Amazon ads: 1/5 bot Insignia’s fault but we are reconsidering moving away from FireTv platform due to the incessant ads from Amazon.

I bought this on Black Friday, I have the same TV but a 50” Insignia that’s just the 4k UHD, that I bought back in 2018, but this Qled is where it’s at!!
I wasn’t sure if a Qled would make that much of a difference. I did a lot of research and decided to pay the fee. I went with Insignia because the other one I have is awesome and was my favorite tv, but now this Qled is the one! It’s only 5” bigger but with that bit of difference and the quality it gives, makes it worth it. Can’t wait to play the PS5 on it! The price, and the quality it gives makes it 5 stars.

I absolutely adore my TV! It has everything I need as far as apps and features go. The sound with the TV alone is good enough for a bedroom, not a living room. The TV mounted to the wall mount easily. The only issue I had was getting Apple TV to work. You have to update the TV’s software like five times before that app in particular works.

Excellent resolution, as evidenced in the photos attached. Didn't need to install my soundbar, has excellent audio. You get the most bang for you money, couldn't this price for a QLED TV. Would have given this a 5-Star rating, hadn't it been for the mediocre response time of the remote control, I could live with that though. So, I'm giving it a 4.5-Star rating.

So far, I'm loving this Television. We were using Fire Sticks before purchasing this Fire TV and appreciate the quick loading time from the various streaming services. Also, quite impressed with the built-in sound system (no soundbar needed). I did get the extended warranty as I've been warned by a service tech friend of mine these units aren't always long-term reliable. I plan on buying another larger unit soon.

I purchased this fire TV about a week before Christmas. I read some reviews before I purchased it and several will right in that it is very bright right out of the box. As it is an Amazon fire TV I had a little bit of a warning curve as I was used to a Sony Bravia that is Android based, but nothing really major except if you don't have an Amazon account you have to set one up you don't have to pay for it you just have to have your name and email in their system.
The things that caused it to get three stars as opposed to a higher rating was, and this is just for me, my TV stand that held my Sony 55 in was barely wide enough to hold this one as the legs on this TV are almost all the way at the edges of the TV , also the connections on the back were a pain in the backside because of the design of the back, again for me it was an annoyance, once I got it mounted on the TV bracket. I've included pictures to show the difference between it and my Sony Bravia which is about 4 years old.
Also I got this tv for $399, and a few days before Christmas they lowered it another $30 and Bet Buy,as always, refunded the difference.
