Great all utility case. I got this instead of my magic keyboard and end up using it way more. It allows me to use my tablet like a notebook and with the pencil as I am most comfortable using it. The pencil is amazing with this model and fits right into the case so I can stop losing it all the time. The keyboard cases end up restricting using it like a laptop, which is stupid, I’ll just bring my laptop, if I wanna laptop, right?

Effective and does the job of protecting the iPad. Picture taking is a little tricky as the back end of the foldable case will block the camera unless it is bent

I really like this case I wish they had more colors but the value is excellent and protects my iPad very well . I like the bumpers for extra protection and that it protects my pencil as well.

I’ve been using the Magic Keyboard as my primary case, but it’s not really a case since it leaves most of it open and doesn’t fold back. This isn’t usually a problem, but it becomes an issue when I’m at work. I teach science to 11-12 year olds, and I like to use my iPad in class. Sometimes, I even have the students use the iPad for demonstrations or presentations. Having them hold the iPad without a case makes me a bit anxious. So, I was looking for a slim case that still provided good protection. That’s where the Folio case from Insignia came in. It’s perfect for my needs. It offers decent protection, even with the bumpers at the corners. I like that the back of the case is clear so I can still see the iPad. The cover folds back and provides different angles to view the screen. It’s also easy to take out of the Magic Keyboard when I’m going back to using it. And it doesn’t feel like the iPad is going to fall out of the case. The texture feels good in the hand and adds just enough grip to feel secure carrying around a classroom. Overall, I really like this case. It took care of my anxiety when I have my students use my iPad. It’s a protective case that doesn’t feel like a tank. I can easily recommend this case.

Actually a great case for the price, it turns into a stand, has a placement for the Apple Pencil, and the back is clear so you can see your beautiful investment. One slight issue I do have is that the fold/screen cover part is a bit wobbly when closed, meaning that it sometimes slides over the bottom edge and a bit of my iPad screen is exposed. Now that only happens when I close it when I’m in a hurry. It also adds a nice weight to the iPad, me personally, I like my stuff being heavy duty. It stains from sweat hands easily or greasy hands, though I never touched my baby with greasy hands. Overall for the price it’s amazing. I was about to spend $80 on another case on here that’s pretty much the same thing as this one. That’s why you should always shop for accessories in person!!!

This is a great basic case for anyone who is on the go with their iPad and wants high levels of protection. Daily use: The case is extremely rugged. The corners are reinforced with extra rubber to protect against drops. There is a slot on the top for your Apple Pen so it can easily be stored and charged while protecting it ensuring it does not fall out. The manufacturing process is a bit basic as my unit had a few parts on the rubber where you can tell where the injection molding process seams were but it is not a big deal The folio cover is nice as it has a fabric texture to protect the screen. It can be folded back to be used as a stand and has a magnet clip to keep it closed. The magnet is not very strong so that is probably the weak point if it is dropped, if the front opens while falling you might scuff up the screen. The screen is recessed while in the case so that adds an additional layer of protection. Overall, I would say this case is a great investment for someone who is outdoors a lot with their tablet as it is rugged, works well and does not look too bad. As with anything that is ruggedized, it is bulky but that is ok for that purpose. It is definitely for the on the go person as there is no keyboard. I can see myself using this while camping, for photography and when I just want to bring a tablet with me not needing a keyboard.

Insignia has earned my respect for offering top quality products at less than competitors' pricing for similar, and in many cases for lower quality goods. I sought out an Insignia case for my new Apple iPad Pro 13" (M4) because of their stellar past performance. Insignia lived up to their excellent reputation, delivering a form fitting protective case that is a dream to carry. It even has a pocket designed to hold the Apple Pencil Pro that is easy to insert & remove! I love the microfiber internal lining, designed to prevent scratching your iPad. You simply cannot find a better material to gently hold & protect the iPad surface. There are shock absorbers on the corners & are even on the sides of the folio. This gives you a great sense of security when carrying your iPad. A magnetic clasp on the sturdy cover keeps the Folio closed; I often carry my iPad in dusty areas; having a magnetic clasp helps keep the iPad clean & well protected until you are ready to open the Folio. CONCLUSION: The Insignia Folio Case is awesome & earns my highest recommendation.

I originally intended to purchase the Apple Smart Folio, but I just couldn't come to grips shelling out the $99. Doing more research, the Insignia Folio Case received high praise (and at a much more reasonable price), so I went for it. Very happy with this purchase - fits my iPad well, provides solid protection (case cover the sides of the iPad, unlike the Apple folio), and does what I need it to do. No complaints, no regrets.

The case is a snug fit on the iPad. Seems like it will keep the iPad safe. Reasonable price to protect your new investment. The stand provides comfortable viewing angles. The case is also comfortable to carry, also has a pocket to keep the Apple Pencil secure.

I’ve had a few cases for my iPad PRO but I was looking for something more minimalist. I’ve owned some cases that really increase the over all size of the enveloped tablet. This is a great case for what I was looking for. It has adequate padding on the corners in case you drop it. That said, the padding doesn’t make it feel bulky and oversized. There’s a nice slot for your apple pen as well. It’s a nice tight fit so it can’t slip away on you like the one ring did to Isildur and Gollum. I like the foldable flap that covers the screen when not in use, and again it’s very streamlined to the iPad. The edge of the flap is magnetic to prevent it from sliding around. I have a screen protector on mine that is made to have the consistency of paper. I was worried it might mess with that, but it’s all good and no sticking or damage whatsoever. The true test for me was to see how it held up as a drawing stand in landscape mode for my artwork in Procreate. It was to be expected in that aspect, the flap held up nicely when folded to draw on the tabletop, not great but nice enough. I would recommend this case to anyone who doesn’t want a really bulky case that adds a lot of extra weight. Very functional and has the ability to protect your screen and store your pencil without fear of it falling out.

Love this case, it protects my iPad as well as houses my Apple Pencil so I don't lose it. I got it on sale for ~$30.00 after tax....GREAT PRICE. Lastly. it serves as a stand when you fold the front cover. Versatile, Useful, and Easy.

I originally purchased this as a starter case but I’ve grown to love it. It has a place for my pencil that’s covered and protected and I’m able to use the cover to prop my iPad up.

This case is exceptional for the price. It feels premium, provides full edge protection, and I feel it would withstand a drop if it ever happens. If you're looking for a folio case on a budget, and don't need a keyboard/trackpad, this is a great option.
