So glad I bought this Dashboard Mount when I bought the Garmin. I would not have been able to reach the Garmin from the driver's seat (NOT while driving) to set locations, because the bottom of the windshield is too far away to reach and I don't want to put the Garmin any higher on the windshield because it blocks my view. Glad I purchased the Dashboard Mount! It has some weight to it and does not "slip 'n slide" while making turns.

Doesn't work as well as I hoped. I had to set a velcro sticker to make it stay in place. And not tall enough.

These are good weighted bases for GPS. It’ll hold on most dashes. I’d prefer a little more sticky rubber on the bottom, as it does move a little on my Jeep wranglers plastic dash. Otherwise it’s good.

This mount is well made. It is wider that the Garmin version and very stable. It would be nice if the friction surface had a better adhesion surface as it tends to slide around more than the Garmin version, but sits nicely on the dash. I also like the flexibility of up and down and left to right.

This ia awesome, no more windshield mount and the thing falling off it’s stays in place sitting on the dash. I’ll go. As far to say it works with any GPS unit brand should’nt matter I have the large Garmin Drive Smart 65 it’s 6.95” and it’s a perfect fit. This is a MUST BUT for any with a GPS Unit. You won’t regret it.

Bought this to use with my Garmin in a rental vehicle. It worked very very well. Was easy to use and did well holding onto the dash without moving most of the time. Did move a small amount a couple of times, only reason while I gave it four stars. However very reasonable price, good buy!

Works as it should. Did slide around the dash a bit. I think that was my car though . I couldn’t find my windshield mount so had to get this.

Works well and seems to keep the GPS where it belongs. It's a little hard to remember how to get it on and off of this mount when we don't use frequently. Can be hard to attach, but not bad.

It stayed in place pretty good over 100+ miles of West Virginia state routes, no flat, straight or smooth road, which was impressive, but it does seem to slowly turn to one side or the other, depending on where it is in relation to the crown on the dash, in everyday driving. Not a big deal but you do need to reach over and straighten it up every now and then. It has not slid into the windshield even in hard braking, which was my main concern.

Had to return it. My 2010 CRV has a contour that doesn't allow this to adhere well. Took a left turn and watch it slide with the GPS across the dashboard to the floor.

This works well with my Garmin Nuvi. The only con I have is that it’s a bit on the bulky side. It would have been nice for it to be more of a round base shape rather than the oblong shape.

The gps doesn't stay on the product very good sit on dash nicely. They should make the cord a little longer we had to have it sitter at the end of our dash

It is easy to use and the product does not slide around while sitting on my dash.

It was too large. It didn't fit on my dashboard very well. Since I got this item on sale, I just threw it out, and got a different one.

Does what I needed it to do, holds a GPS on my dashboard without sliding around

Just what I needed. I got a new GPS but needed a way to have it stick on the dash without sliding around. This has done the trick and sticks really well. Doesn’t slide even in mountain roads.

I purchased this while on vacation after we lost our attachment to our garmin. I can honestly say this was a lifesaver and worked so well with holding our garmin and holding it in place while we continued with our travels and was much bicer than having the window attachment! We had no issues with sliding as went around curves and up and down through the mountains while on our last vacation! I also have used this with my smartphone while driving around town so i can leave my cup holders open for drinks! I would definitely recommend this for your garmin if you dont want anything hanging off your windshield or your vents!
