This unit is simply amazing for the price. I wanted to upgrade mine after visiting my brother, who owns the more expensive Logitech Z323. It turns out that this Insignia system will not disappoint, *even* after trying out the Z323. Pros: -Easy to set up (comes with a very short, straightforward set-up guide) -Controller with blue LED is very convenient, and very stylish -Bass volume is on the controller (somehow, this is a rarity for speaker systems like this one) -Aux and headphone ports on the controller -Heavy, solid construction Cons: -Although I got to appreciate it, I was not a fan of the silver finish at first--to me this made the speakers look more cheaply made than they actually are -Without any bass, the speakers sound high-pitched and "empty", but this is only a minor problem because it is easy to put only a minimum of bass through the controller without having to be scared of disturbing the neighbors. If you want a system that will sound good even when the subwoofer is off, you'll need to look into a higher price range (e.g.: Logitech Z323 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/logitech-z323-speaker-system-black/1200842.p) Other thoughts: I had this delivered, and shipping was surprisingly fast. I would recommend this anytime, I was pleasantly surprised.

Works great. Awesome sound. I love the sub-woofer. I can hear more bass while playing my music. I use it with my desk-top.

Good lows. Even better highs. Controls are easy. Perfect speakers for a gamer on a budget or in tight spaces.

Not too bad for a good computer or laptop. Great quality audio and the volume for the subwoofer is a great addition.

I had older speakers and looked for a relatively inexpensive nicer set for my new computer. I decided on this set of speakers. While they do not have nightclub sound quality the varied ranges work very well. The base output on videos will vibrate the floor. At high volume the speakers will get distortion but the lower volume capabilities are more than loud enough for anyone using them. I think these are a good buy.

These have been amazing speakers for our home pc. Great sound and pretty decent base for the price.

I have a set of this but branded as Cyber Acoustic. They are the same speakers as the insignia. It works great for PC. or TV. I have this connected to my tv for better home theater style sound. It's nothing compare to a $1000 surround sound dolby digital. but is definitely a good alternative to those $400 dollar sound bar. However I wouldn't pay more than $30 for this item cause you can get the Cyber Acoustic on sale for around $20-25.

this speaker system has great range of volume and sound is clear even at the higher level and the wired remote is easy to use
