Work as well as the original Apple versions, smooth like butter. I'm a digital artist and do commission work so having something that doesnt skip around makes ot sp much easier.

So i was worried this woukd not fit or be obvious it wasnt the original apple tips but they work the exact same. Very much worth the price, ans the quality are no doffrent. Great ourchase and now i got a few spare for when i use procreate

the tip fell apart and the bottom got stuck in my apple pencil if some of the adhesive wasn’t sticking out and i didn’t have a tool it would’ve been impossible to remove.

You can buy third-party tips online, and they tend to come in a wide selection of colors and styles. Perhaps you might wish a pink or purple tip, in which case you will need to look elsewhere. Personally, maintaining an Apple color match is somewhat preferable, and these are indistinguishable to me. How quickly your Pencil tips, or nibs as they are sometimes referred to, wear out will be quite variable. My Apple Pencil version 1 came with one replacement tip, but new models do not provide a free replacement, I believe. The Insignia brand set of 4 come at a faction of the price as the original brand, and in my usage, are identical in look and feel. Of course, your usage and methods will be different, so you may notice some sensations that might alter your comfort with the tip choice. A film screen protector placed on your iPad will change the drag and may cause your tip to wear out more quickly. For certain applications, such as fine art drawing and sketching, a bit more drag gives a more “paper like” sensation, and some screen protectors are geared for that tactile feel. That extra friction may lead to more rapid wear, and need for more frequent tip replacement. As such, saving a few dollars on each tip might be quite desirable. These tips retail for about $2 each, so quite a bargain. Replacement is an easy process, with a simple screwing off the old tip, and twisting the new in its place. Truly it takes under a minute. Tactile feel, again a personal preference, will vary with different brands, and may vary with your desired technique. I use my pencil for note taking and some rudimentary line drawing. So a firmer tip, less flex, is perfect. These tips felt to me slightly firmer than the OEM tip, so for me a change for the better. Whether this translates into a longer lasting tip will be difficult to measure, but that would be my basic assumption: firmer lasts longer. While third-party Apple Pencil tips are a cost savings, you should be aware that if they damage your iPad, you may have a harder time with repairs depending on your AppleCare. Luckily, since BestBuy is an AppleCare authorized service facility, I would assume that they will not question the genesis of the issue for a screen repair. Another strong reason to purchase and service your Apple products at BestBuy!

So we have foud Apple Pencil's being used in our household. My daughter is an artist, so she is always using her pencil on her 12.9 iPad Pro. My son has it for school note taking on his old Air 10.5". I use it for my Mini when taking notes for work. And my wife uses it on her Air as an extension of her fingers when connected to the keyboard. So, four different functions for the Apple Pencil. And with these varying functions and use cases, the nibs do wear out at different times. I decided to take a chance on these Insignia brand replacement tips for the Apple Pencil 1st and 2nd generations. As of now, I have felt that these are just as good as the main Apple brand ones and at a fraction of the cost. When drawing, my daughter will be the one going through them faster as she also has a paper-like screen protector. So the constant friction of the nibs (she's on it daily) causes her to switch them out almost every other week. She has stated that these Insignia brand is just as good and could not tell the difference between the Apple ones. Me, I take a lot of notes and I have a matte protector and doesn't go through them as much. I did drop my pencil causing the tip to break so I switched it out with this one. Again, could not tell the difference. Since my son uses the 1st generation Apple Pencil, it fits on that one just as easily as the 2nd generation ones. Overall, save yourself the money and get these. They work just as good and are as precise.

As an Apple Pencil user, I was quite pleased to discover the Insignia Replacement Tips for my 2nd generation Apple Pencil at Best Buy. At a fraction of the cost compared to Apple’s own replacement tips, these tips are a fantastic value. I appreciated the convenience of the 4-pack, ensuring I have extras on hand whenever needed. However, I must admit that the on-screen drawing experience with these tips isn’t quite as smooth as with the original Apple tips. They have a slightly plasticky feel, which detracts a bit from the overall drawing experience. Despite this minor drawback — and yes, this pun is intentional — considering the price difference, the Insignia replacement tips are still a worthwhile investment. They perform adequately, and they get the job done at a much more affordable price point. For anyone looking to extend the life of their Apple Pencil without breaking the bank, I would 100% recommend giving these replacement tips a try. Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Fits and works fine with my Apple Pencil 2. These are very reasonably priced.

These replacement stylus tips are very comparable to the original. I use a Paperlike screen protector, so my tips get worn down over time. The Best Buy brand looks and feels just the same as Apple's. The only difference I see is that the Insignia version is a tinge darker than the rest of the Apple Pencil, but you really can't tell the difference.

Excellent price for four of them...dropped my new Apple Pencil Pro, and the tip was damaged, causing it to work intermittently....so I bought a four pack of these babies, and it instantly worked like new...

My new tips work great, and there is no problem with them integrating with my Apple Pencil or iPad.

They are good but have one problem. If you’re using a paper-like screen protected then they wear down fast.
