Nice little dongle to connect everyday accessories to your MacBook. I use it to mostly connect an external HDMI monitor. Works just fine. Haven't had any issues so far. A bit pricey for what it does, but the cheaper ones usually don't last as long as this one has for me.

This adapter works great for connecting an external monitor with USB hub to my Google Pixelbook. Since it includes power delivery, it is in effect a perfect docking station with its single USB-C attachment to the laptop. It also cost less than most similar items, even many with less functionality. It has given me zero problems.

Works and happy with product sadly had to modify my beautiful leather case to fit the chunky cable. I wish it were slightly slimmer around the edges, I solved this by taking a pair of nail trimmers around the edge of the case where it would not connect. When I inserted the cable with hdmi and added the charging cable later, my iPad Pro didn’t recognize the charger, however this was easily remedied by removing the adapter from the iPad and simply reinserting. Likely a user error in all or part. Overall I am highly satisfied as this will hopefully prevent me from purchasing a new small form factor desktop. Now hopefully tomorrow I can get right click set up on my mouse and I will have a ultra functional setup for my new monitor.

Needed additional Ports for my Pixelbook. Didn't want anything bulky and this is perfect. Little more ports needed than what I would use, however could not bet the price. Good quality

I bought this to connect my Pixelbook to a monitor via HDMI and it works perfectly. I'm happy with the size, design and performance. I would recommend to anyone looking to connect a USB-C device to a monitor or other display.

This is exactly what I was looking for. This allows for me to connect an external monitor via HDMI, and also allows me to charge my MacBook at the same time. Works perfectly so far with no hiccups

This dongle is a great affordable option for Mac users that need an HDMI dongle which gives you a charging port and an extra USB port. Other brands are quite pricey and having this product available is awesome!

Works great on my Mac. The price is even better. I use it when I have to travel and it has saved me. No issues connecting mice, monitors etc. Would buy it again.

We recently purchased a new MacBook Air and needed an adapter since this was our first device to use USB-C. It has performed well and was certainly cheaper than the Apple-branded adapter.

I purchased this since my tv isn't a smart one so this does it well! I can view my phone on the screen like if it were on smart view or mirror view. It also has the option to view as in desktop view. Pretty cool! All you need is an HDMI cable. Oh and it also fits the new S10!!

Was unsure of what I could plug into the new MacBook Air that I was purchasing, Best Buy employee answered all my questions on my needs and found this adapter that was just what I needed to plug in the accessories and use my MacBook Air for what I desired. Very glad that I decided to purchase the adapter it has a USB adapter type c and type a, and an hdmi output, it also supports 4K resolution. Very easy to use!!!

Every new model MacBook Pro needs this accessory to provide HDMI, USB or USB C access. Easy to use. 100% compatible. Cost effective.

This has lasted for so long since I bought it and it works great! I do wish that I could have connected to two monitors but since I was hybrid WFH, two monitors would have taken too much space on my desk. Overall it is a good when on a budget.

With the new MacBooks, you definitely need an adapter for the usb-c ports. I originally got one of the super expensive fancy ones, but it stopped working in less than a week. I then tried out this one and I couldn’t be happier. It has the perfect ports for my needs, it’s simple to understand and use, and it’s perfectly portable and durable. I’d recommend this to anyone with a newer MacBook. Great product.

I currently use Macs with USB-C ports both at home and at work. I have the Apple version of the adapter for hooking up my HDMI monitors that I would use between both locations. I quickly got tired of moving it around as I would forget it from time to time. I started to use another brand adapter that my job provided and it caused all kinds of issues with my Mac. I would plug it in and sometimes I would get no video on the external monitor or it would flicker continuously. So, I would unplug it and plug it back in a few times till it started working or it crashed. I then purchased this Insignia adapter as an open box and haven't looked back. It seems to work even better than the Apple version. When I plug it in the monitor syncs up nicely with no issues whatsoever. No more crashes or flickering. I highly recommend this product. Used with MacBook Pro with touch bar and MacBook with USB-C

This is a great unit. It provides HDMI from your USB-C port, while allowing you to charge, and gives you an extra full-size HDMI port. Build quality seems excellent. There is one quirk, however, that I don’t have with my dedicated USB-C to HDMI cable. When I first connect to a monitor, including after my laptop is rebooted, the monitor cannot seems the video source until I disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable from the adapter. A minor nuisance, but a nuisance.
