    replaced the old one perfectly. Voltmeter I had to reverse the positive and negative on the power. Check as if running and a person touches could result in shock if not hooked up right.

    After reading all the reviews we decided to go with the Badger 1/2 HP. I was lucky to read enough into the product to know that I needed to purchase the power source separately. We have not been disappointed.

    There was a minor glitz in the electrical hookup with a plug and socket not being compatible, but the technician skillfully redid the wiring and everything works very well. He went the extra mile when he could have said--"that is your problem--good bye" and left us without an operating disposal.

    Exactly what I had previously. Works great. Loud, but aren't all garbage disposals? The installation was VERY hard to get organized, but our installer was a perfectionist. I.e. no leaks and works perfectly.
