This is such a versatile kitchen appliance. So far, all of the settings have worked well. Successful recipes include: hard boiled eggs, cheesecake, yogurt, soups, steamed veggies, apple crisp and risotto.

Upgraded our old duo that we’ve had for a few years to this model and I’m so glad we did! LOVE the new self sealing lid, the steam diffuser, and the new controls. I love that it has the turn dial and the buttons. The new steam function with no pressure is awesome! And don’t get me started on the new stovetop sage inner pot with handles! Game changer.

    Worth extra for the Plus

It was hard to find this Instant Pot in stock anwywhere, but Best Buy had it (at the same price as Amazon, and with free delivery). For us, the extra cost for the Plus version of the Duo Evo Instant Pot was worth it for the handles alone. (It also has two sealing gaskets, an intuitive and readable control panel, a pressure-release switch that doesn't make you dance with death, and a flat-bottomed stainless pot inside that can be used on the stove top.) We've used the High and Low Pressure-Cooking settings and the slow cooker function, all to great effect. Made wonderful beef bone broth in about five hours; tonight, we're serving a caramel chocolate flan cooked under low pressure. Corned beef with vegetables was wonderful; so was beef stew, and pork tenderloin was pretty good, too. Looking forward to making refried beans next.

Duo Evo Plus offers 48 diffferent programs with Proofing at 77 degrees. I enjoy using this machine weekly for multiple meal preparation. The biggest feature in addition to the programs is the stovetop friendly insert which allows browning food on the stove and returning the pot back to the unit for pressure cooking. Pressure Cooking is all about flavor and this model does well. Combine with a Vortex air fryer and you have it all , the latest and greatest in cooking appliances!

Love this Instant Pot. It is so easy to use. Meat comes out nice and tender. It was a little hard getting the stainless steel bowl cleaned as well as I would like since I used it too brown meat, but it cleaned up well enough. I would like to get an extra pot! I wish Best Buy sold them!

I was on the fence about buying an Instant Pot. But, after so many friends raving about it, I decided to give it a try. I am really glad I did. The Instant Pot is so easy to use for a non-cook like me! The food comes out great. I’ve made lamb, beef, pork, hard boiled eggs, game hens, ribs, vegetables and more in it. Hard boiled eggs come out so well, that the shells peel off perfectly. I’ve never been able to achieve this before. And, it’s consistent. I make a new batch of boiled eggs every few days, and always get the same great results. So far, I’ve used not only the pressure cooking feature, but also the slow cooker and sauté functions. All of them have yielded good results. The internet is full of recipes and tips, so even someone like me, who is not much of a cook, can do just fine with this. Clean up is easy, as well. Just soak after use, then easily clean the pot a bit later. The only issue I’ve run into seems to be an issue specific to this particular model (Duo Evo Plus). Sometimes, on the sauté function, I would get a C8 error. Supposedly, this error indicates use of an incorrect inner pot. That obviously wasn’t the case (I only own one Instant Pot). I looked around on the internet, and this seems to be a defect. It was easy enough to temporarily “fix” the issue by stopping and restarting. However, I seem to have a good work around by using a custom setting for the sauté function. I haven’t encountered the issue since. However, it does seem to be an issue that should be addressed by the manufacturer. Other than that, it’s been really good so far, and I even find myself enjoying cooking.

It is easy to use IF you read and follow directions. Don't read your recipes half way and think you think what you're doing. There is a learning curve but it's worth your time to get to know your machine. This makes food fast and chicken literally falls off the bone. Been using it daily since I got it.

Super! Have tried multiple recipes and really like the sauté option to get things started. Easy to use and clean. Soup took 15 minutes, chicken 30, and stew 60 minutes. Ordered accessory kit separately which increases options for recipes.

After my rice cooker died I purchased the instant Pot. It’s a little more complicated to use the a single purpose device. It makes rice real good and keeps it moist. It does tend to stick to the bottom of the pot which my other rice cooker never did. It’s a great device to try new recipes with. Soups and stews are turning out great.

Easy to use and very convenient for making Chili’s, stews, steaming veggies, and many other things. Especially good for things that don’t turn out very good in a microwave.

I was reluctant to get this, but friends who have one swear by it. I’ve used it at least once a week since buying it and love it. I started with a pot roast. I’ve usually used a crock pot, because I like mine tender and moist. I’d set it in the morning and it would cook all day. I made one in this in a fraction of the time and it was perfect. I then roasted a chicken, which I overcooked. Then I made a chicken enchilada recipe that was designed for the crockpot, but easily adapted. That was such a success that I made pulled chicken, from frozen chicken breasts to pulled chicken. It is easy to clean. A little intimidating the first time, but really easy after one time.

I love my Instant Pot. It does what it is intended to do. I love it so much that my mother bought one also. One thing that bothered me was that on the best buy site it states that it comes with Steam rack, serving spoon, soup spoon, measuring cup. I received the steam rack but where is the rest? This bothered me so I took the Instant Pot back to Best Buy and asked for an exchange they did so and again just the steam rack came with the pot. I was disappointed. Otherwise it's great to have and a time saver.

This is my first Instant Pot and I wish I had purchased it sooner. It's easy to use, with simple instructions on how to use each mode. The saute feature comes in handy if you need to brown something before using any of the cooking methods, although it gets hot very quickly and can burn if you aren't careful. It's easy to clean and the size is perfect for cooking for 2-4 people. The one downside is the loud beeping that occurs when you turn it on or remove the lid. I wish there was a way to turn it off or turn it down. If you are prepping food late at night or early in the morning, it can wake the house up.

When a friend first contacted me about the Instant Pot pressure cooker I was skeptical. But after using it for a few weeks, I really like it. It replaced my slow cooker and rice cooker, and now I can have meals from frozen meats to Mmm-mmm good in 30 minutes with very few preparation dishes to wash up.

I barely made omelette at home but with coronavirus forcing everyone to cook food at home, I was looking for a cooker which is easy and safe to cook. More like, cut everything and put everything and start cooking kind of a setup. Picked up duo evo plus on a sale and it is well worth it. Pot comes with lifting handle and lid locks itself!

This does pretty good job of slow cooking while at work or pressure cooking when you're in a hurry to eat. Just know that you won't be able to fill the entire 6-quart volume with food unless you want to clean up the mess that comes out.
